I came here for a coffee and a bagel before an evening hike at East Rock Park, and I was happy I came! I had the cardamon and date latte, plus a bagel with labneh, which were both great! I also personally thought it was super cute how there is a tiny prayer room in one corner of the shop. The only suggestion I have is that I personally think the bathroom could look a lot more interesting with some decor and maybe even a little wall mural like in the main room. Other than that, everything was near perfect to me!

We came here for coffee and this place did not disappoint. We got the Americano and while it was dark, the bitterness didn't linger. Staff were friendly and efficient. Nice spacious cafe with lots of students using the space to study.

The coffee is so good. The Resturaunt is clean and spacious. Tons of seating. The baristas are fast and nice. Will absolutely stop in here again.

MOTW Coffee & Pastries is located in New Haven, with additional, but limited locations across the country. Muslims of the World is a beautiful cafe, with a wide variety of tasty specialty coffees and pastries. The inside is ethnically decorated, while they also have some soft Middle Eastern music playing in the background. This cafe also features a prayer rug, behind a private wall, this is a nice touch for certain believers, and I'm sure is appreciated by many. We got coffees and an assortment of sweet treats. I got the Creme Brew Latte. This is one of the best lattes I've had all season. It is lightly vanilla flavored, but ultra creamy and plush. I genuinely enjoyed each sip. We got a Date Cookie, Dubai Chocolate and a Tiramisu Tres Leches. The Date Cookie was soft, with date in the center and crushed pistachios on the outside. This was rich and delectable. The Dubai Chocolate wasn't a favorite, it had a strange crunchy texture and was very sweet. The Tiramisu Tres Leche was exactly what it sounds like. That super, super fluffy, creamy, dreamy Tres Leche that's combined with coffee and chocolate! This is addictively good! We had a great first experience at MOTW, I cannot wait to return!

The honeycomb bread omg so warm and scrumptious. Perfect sweetness from the soft bread, honey, and whatever else was happening on the inside. Delish treat to split with my cafe date. Also tried the yemeni chai and it was smooth and decadent. It's made with evaporated milk and I loved the option for a small size. Chicken empanada was a good train snack but overall eh in terms of spice and flavor. Def a nice savory filler though.

Great spot for coffee and pastries! I stopped in and immediately loved how modern and expansive the space was - a perfect spot to take a break or get some work done. As soon as I saw their homemade $7 Dubai Chocolate heart I knew I had to try it. I've heard that the viral chocolate bar can cost you around $20, so I was excited to try a lower cost option. I also ordered a Pistachio iced latte. The latte was made using a store bought syrup and was good - not overly sweet. The Dubai chocolate heart was delicious - I totally get why the dessert has blown up! Highly recommend Motw, which is a franchise and has multiple locations across the US.

I visited MOTW Coffee for the first time today. I just ordered a black iced coffee. The flavor was above average, but there wasn't enough ice. I was only there long enough to get my coffee, but I noted many of the tables were occupied. It seemed darker inside than many coffee shops. Perhaps that was because the high ceilings and exposed pipes etc. had all been painted black. Service was efficient. 4 Stars

Stopped in for a quick coffee and bit to eat on my way to work. Coffee was well made and good, breakfast empanada was filling.

This was my first time visiting MOTW, and I had a great experience. Clarisa provided excellent service -- super friendly and attentive. One thing that really stood out to me was the calm and relaxing vibe of the place. The coffee was high quality, and when it comes to the food... wow! The chicken and spinach empanadas were absolutely delicious and very well made. I highly recommend this place, especially if you're looking for a halal spot. Great job, MOTW!

MOTW stands for Muslims of the World and was created on Instagram by Sajjad Shah. This page highlighted and brought together the Muslim community. A coffee shop was created from that. There are currently 7 locations. My family and I stopped in for coffee. The place was packed with a cozy and trendy vibe. The service was good. I decided to get one of their seasonal lattes and it was good! Overall, a nice cafe!

What a cute coffee shop! I completely missed this place because I was looking for the sign, MOTW and not Coffee and Pastries. It's quite close to Yale so there are plenty of students in the shop. They have ample board games to keep anyone occupied as well. I came on a Monday, which was also a holiday. Pretty much an extension to the weekend so it was quite busy. The customers are all friendly. Someone was kind enough to move their belongings so that my daughter and I could both sit at the counter. I was trying a refresher flavor that I never had before. It turned out that it wasn't all to my liking. It wasn't terrible, only that it wasn't my preference. It's pretty though. The empanada was warmed up for me and I enjoyed the every bit of it. If I wasn't pressed for time I would have taken another to go.

I came here with my sister to catch up after picking her up from the train station. I had bookmarked this place since I kept seeing it pop up on my feed. It has such a cozy vibe, making it perfect for catching up or getting some work done. There are a few tables and countertops available, plus plenty of outlets to charge your devices. I tried the biscoff ice latte, and it was delicious definitely tasted like a biscoff! I also enjoyed a chocolate croissant alongside it. My sister ordered a latte and refresher, along with some tasty treats. She absolutely loved the famous Dubai chocolate, saying it was crunchy and smooth. I can see why the hype is real and totally worth it! I can definitely picture myself coming here on weekends whenever I'm nearby.
