I noticed that the rest of the store sold only a bleak selection of junk food. There was nothing interesting on the shelves! I noticed a man and woman come in, have an entirely transactional conversation and then leave, buying nothing. I noticed two separate hipsters walk in, look around and then walk out. I waited and waited. Finally, my order was ready. Without any register or paper calculations, the man told me my order was $10 exactly. Not feeling too good about that. Love everything about Mottley Kitchen. The food is delicious, fresh and sourced locally. There are choices for all tastes and diets. There are even special selections for kids. Mottley offers more than food! It is a gathering space for neighbors and their families at Storytimes on Saturdays and a place for teens to show their talents during Poetry Slams. It is a place for workers to meet and enjoy coffee and pastry and discuss business plans. Mottley itself is spacious and filled with natural light.
