I had a more than ideal experience with Motorsport Concepts! I needed to get my bumper replaced from a fender bender. Reached out to Motorsport and ended up working with Nate, who was wonderful. Motorsport got me a same-day repair estimate and was able to take my car in a week later. Parts were ordered and repair was performed all within 4 days. They also cleaned my car! Communication throughout the process was quick, genuine and professional. Overall I had a super pleasant, easy experience for an issue that's never fun to deal with. Motorsport Concepts came to the rescue when another collision company said they couldn't even look at our vehicle to give an estimate for a month. I was referred to Motorsport Concepts by my mechanic after I had a minor accident in a January snowstorm. My trusted mechanic of four years has referred A LOT of business to Motorsport Concepts. The first thing they failed to do was to be ready when the adjuster came. They didn't have all the parts off the front end, ready for the adjuster to inspect. Consequently, the adjuster had to be called out a second time when Nate found there was more damage. This cost me nearly an extra week of time because the adjuster couldn't get back right away. Why wouldn't they have everything off and ready to be inspected the first time? This should've been "one and done!" Then, Nate told the adjuster that the cracked oil filter housing couldn't have resulted from the accident, contradicting what my trusted mechanic said, so the adjuster wouldn't include it in the list of damages. This resulted in me not getting reimbursed for the $850 that I spent to get it fixed the day after the accident! Sorry Nate, you're the body man, there to walk the adjuster through the body damage, NOT the mechanical damage. Next time, stay in your own lane! And, you through the mechanic that refers all this business to you under the bus, but undermining him to the adjuster! Then, I had to go to the shop to retrieve some things from my car, since they were going to have it a week and a half LONGER than they'd estimated. When I opened the back door, I noticed they'd filled the back LEATHER seats with car parts! You'd think they'd put down cardboard underneath or at least blankets or something, but nope. This resulted in the seats STILL have "dents" and "dimples" where the parts were! When I confronted Nate with everything I'm writing here, he was not apologetic one bit. He was smug and defensive. In fact, regarding the parts in the back seat, he flat out lied and denied they put parts in the back seat! He said they put all parts on a rack in the shop. I said, "Nate, I SAW the parts in my backseat with my own two eyes!" He then backstepped and said the dents and dimples should stretch out when the weather gets warm, and if not, to bring it back in and he'd "take care of it." They're still there, but there's no way I'm going back. This is why I'm writing this review. Had he been more professional and apologetic, I wouldn't be doing this, but he cost me a lot of extra money, both in the $850 out of pocket to my mechanic, and and extra week and a half without my car, and as an Uber driver, my car is how I earn a living. The extra week and a half, over his estimate, cost me about $750 in lost wages. Needless to say, I will never return to or refer Motorsport Concepts. read more

My review has nothing to do with their work on cars but rather their lack of customer service. I called in and asked about getting an estimate and set up a time to come by. Let me start by saying that I completely understand this is a free service and in no way were they required to provide one, however they agreed on the phone and I showed up with the car and afterwards was told they would get it off to me in the next couple of days. I let them know there was no rush and that I was collecting estimates from a few various shops. I was also very candid about the fact that I wasn't sure if I was going to have the repair work done, as it was only cosmetic, and I was considering possibly doing a vinyl wrap over the whole car with the funds or maybe even using the insurance settlement to repaint the entire car. After seeing some of the custom motorcycle gas tanks and other nice looking custom paint jobs I even asked if my small repair job was worth their time and was told that a majority of their work was insurance claims and it wasn't a problem. A week later I had received estimates from the other shops, some prepared them while I waited which took at most 15 minutes, some emailed them to me after seeing the car, but I hadn't receive the estimate from MS Concepts. I give them a call to inquire and had a very short call where I was told they would get it to me the next day. Another week passed and still no estimate, so I this time reached out through email on their website not wanting to be a pest if they were busy. The reply that I am paraphrasing was because I had made it clear I was not going to have the repair work done they prioritized other estimates and that they would happily create an estimate for me at a cost of $200. Now again, I am asking for a free estimate and at any point from my first phone call through my various follow ups they could have easily said they didn't want to create an estimate for me and I would have been completely fine with it no hard feelings at all. However telling me they were going to complete the estimate more than once and saying it would be over in a few days more than once was lame, and the request for $200 to create the estimate is just a complete insult especially for something that other shops were able to produce, in great detail, in only 15 minutes. After reading other reviews on here that describe a very similar mindset of not caring about their customers I was motivated to share my experience. I am still working things out with the insurance company and haven't decided how I will proceed but I certainly will not be using the services of MS Concepts and sadly I doubt they even care based on how they handled this. read more

Terrible customer service. Terrible work. Would not recommend this shop to anyone. I was recommended MSC for a good quality work and what I got was the complete opposite. I had a estimated time my vehicle would be done and it took almost 2 weeks longer than anticipated. Also, I had my car returned to me in terrible shape. Seat belt cover was hanging off, had my seats on the interior stained with dirt and grime, had pieces broken on the door handle, and had exterior scratches on the car as well. When I let them know what was going on They were very quick to deny it was them and were trying to blame me saying everything was from before I took the car in. I had to take my car back multiple times and everytime I got it back I found something new that was wrong with it. Again I wouldn't recommend this repair shop to anyone. terrible work. read more

I won't make this review long simply because if I do it would turn into a small novel. Long story short I was disappointed. So disappointed I had to reach out to the BBB. The problem was fixed after all but I'm not happy overall with the outcome, meaning the results of their performance as well as the way they handled the situation. All in all, never again. These guys are awesome!. I unfortunately had someone back into my car and run without leaving any contact information. Filed a claim and used the approved insurance body shop for the repair. Big mistake! I guess volume is the name of the game but the quality was beyond poor. Long story short I was recommended to call Motorsport by my Mercedes dealership and WOW these guys were amazing. Eric took care of me and the tech took me into the workshop to show me the repair and corrective work they did for what was such a poor sloppy job from the previous body shop. The attention to detail & the pride they take in there work is so great to see, you just don't find body shops like this very often. Our 2000 F-150 extended cab truck was damaged on the right side requiring the passenger and second door and door guard to be replaced. Motorsport Concepts did an awesome job on the repairs and the way they blended the paint to match the older color of the truck where you could not tell the doors had been replaced. The doors are back to the same level prior to the damage and you do not hear traffic noises like you did after the truck had been hit. The truck is now sound proof once more. This shop handled all issues with the insurance company and made our life so much easier. This is one shop we will return to when we have any damages needing to be repaired. This is a shop that cares about their customers as well as they take pride in their work. This is a shop that puts customer service and quality of their work first and foremost. More businesses need to use Motorsport Concepts as an example as to how to make sure the customer is happy with the work that comes from their shop. Keep up the good work! This is an honest, fast and helpful shop. I brought my car in with horrible hail damage and they were able to match the paint perfectly on the new hood and trunk that was installed. My car looks amazing and the work was completed faster than any other shop quoted.
