Previously, i had a bad experience with a body repair shop in the State Farm "network" so decided to select a repair shop in my own. After reading reviews of a number of body shops. I took my car to Perfection Unlimited for an assessment and quote.They were very responsive and good communicators. While waiting for my rental car, I had a conversation with several people in Perfection's waiting room. They were repeat customers and said they wouldn't take their car anywhere else. Beware! This company is now being pursued by the Better Business Bureau. I brought my car there over three months ago, and they refused to give me an estimate, despite the fact that I made an appointment for an estimate. They said that they needed to talk to my insurance company first, despite the fact that I had already been paid by my insurance company and was ready to turn that payment over to them. There is something very shady going on behind the scenes. They still will not provide an estimate, and they only respond about 25% of the time. They do not care about your business. After a telephone pole jumped out at my car, denting and scraping my rear quarter panel, I dreaded both the ensuing inconvenience and cost associated with having it repaired. After procrastinating for several weeks, I learned that my usual car repair shop (Hotchkiss - also fabulous!) doesn't do body work but they recommended Perfection Unlimited. I am sooo glad they did! When I dropped by (with very little notice) Karen took a look and explained exactly what it would take to make my car look new again, then quickly worked up and printed a detailed estimate. The estimate was less than anticipated so we set a date for me to drop off the car a week or so later. When it came time to complete the repair, it was completely painless. I dropped the car off, Ubered home, and then Ubered back again on the day it was to be completed. The repair was completed on time and looked PERFECT!!! Unfortunately my story doesn't end there. Just a few weeks later my 16-yr-old new driver scraped another car as he was pulling out of a parking space, scratching the exact same quarter panel that had just been repaired. (Ugh. Apparently neither of us are great drivers.) Thankfully, the owner of the other vehicle was super understanding. She didn't have a relationship with a body shop and since I had just had a great experience at Perfection Unlimited, I recommended she check with them and let me know how much I would owe her. To my surprise she called a day or two later to share that Perfection Unlimited had fixed it at no charge! (Seriously. See Jane D's review!) Could this get any better?!? Well, it does! Read on... When I revisited Perfection Unlimited to have my own rear quarter panel repaired they took my car inside and buffed it out at no cost. Zero! Even though they worked their magic in less than 10-15 minutes, they could have easily charged both Jane D and I for their time...but they chose not to. As a result, they've earned two more customers, plus I've now recommended this body shop to two additional friends. B O T T O M L I N E : Go! I and my daughters family and friends in Denver have been serviced and aided and helped by Rick and Karen, often times at their own expense for 5 of our own vehicles and many others of friends of ours. I've been experiencing Perfection Unlimited quality work since we moved from Hawaii to Denver in 2014. I am from the aloha state of Hawaii and have always been spoiled with the aloha spirit with folks that have serviced my cars since the day I was able to drive. I have personally stood outside the shop and watch Rick help a person that drove up snap his front shrouds into place so they could continue home and politely tell the person, this one's on the house. Ever been to any other body shop in the area that does this? Rick and Karen have the same aloha spirit that I have experienced in Hawaii. Upon good yelp reviews I went to Perfection U. today to get a quote for a front bumper replacement. I also got a quote for back bumper which had black paint from a minor back up collision. They took off the paint for free! Very friendly, walk in estimates, and the quote was 700.00 below another I got. I'm excited to do the work. I got 3 quotes and Perfection Unlimited's was the lowest, most detailed how they were going to do the work (no replacement panels or tons of bondo) and also great customer service. Perfection got me in right away to take a look at the scrape a student driver put on my car trying to unpark, then buffed it out at no charge. They are mixing me some new paint for an old scratch that was nearby and that reappeared; probably the touch-up we did a few years back just wore off. It is rare that an encounter with a business changes the way I feel about humanity. I got a HUGE scratch down the length of my truck, and was distraught about how much it would cost to fix, and how long it would take. I called several shops to see if I could get an estimate, and I kept getting told they were months out from being able to help. I called Perfection Unlimited, and was told that I could bring it by anytime for an estimate. When I arrived later that afternoon, the friendly shop representative came out and investigated. She told me to stand by, and then came back with some equipment to assist. After spending some time working on the scratch, she brought out Rick (the shop owner), who proceeded to work earnestly on my truck on the spot. In short, he worked a miracle, and the vast majority of the damage is gone. He tried to under-charge me, but I insisted on a more fair price that better reflected the time outstanding service that they invested in me. I could not be more grateful for this wonderful business. I had a great experience here, even though I didn't end up having any work done. I called and asked if they could give me an estimate, and they said no problem. I drove right in and met with the super nice woman at the front desk. We walked out to my car and she immediately diagnosed the bumps and bruises on my Subaru Legacy. Then we walked back inside and she promptly printed out an estimate for me. The estimate was very detailed and broke down each item I was being charged for. I wasn't sure exactly which work I wanted to do given my budget, so she then printed out each of the different work to different parts of the car individually and explained where the overlap was so that we could save money by doing some of the work together. I took my daughter's 2009 Honda CRV to Perfection Unlimited at the recommendation of Kevin, owner of Ace Auto Repair, for a repair estimate of the front bumper damage I'd caused. Karen greeted me with such warmth and kindness and listened as I explained how it happened (in my rush to get home to greet my daughter, son-in-law and new granddaughter after their stay in the hospital). Karen said, "Well, let's take a look and see what needs to be done." She thought it wouldn't take a great deal of work (given it's an old car, and I wasn't looking for 'new') and said she'd ask her husband (Rick) if he had time to look at it. I was surprised when he told her he'd take a look at it "right now." I was even more surprised when he said he'd go ahead and repair it while I waited. I found that shocking enough but when he was done, they did not charge me for the repairs! I've never had that experience and cannot say how grateful I am for their kindness. Where do I even begin - this place is the absolute BEST! I went in today at the last minute after hitting a pole feeling like an idiot - Karen walked out yo my car and even though she had to let out an audible wince, she was incredibly kind to me. We are trading in our car on Thursday - understanding the situation she called out Rick - who came over and immediately began working on the huge dent I put in my car. He pulled it around and after 10 minutes he came out with the keys - Karen apologized because it was the best he could do. Y'all - my car looked 1000% better - I could have shed a tear...I did not imagine he would be able to smooth the dent or get the bumper back in - another professional in the area had already told me replacement was my only option. On top of doing an amazing job, they were sweet to my baby boy, shared some animal crackers with him, made me feel less terrible about my idiotic mistake, and were just genuinely kind. Human kindness and honesty in a business is a rarity - these guys have it in spades. Looked at a few shops to replace the bumper of my Honda Civic. Not only did Perfection Unlimited have the best price, but I just had a good feeling when I met Chet. I hate car repairs because my knowledge of whats actually needed pales in comparison to the shop owner, but Chet was great to work with and put me at ease. I recently had some body work done at Perfection Unlimited on my 2012 Grand Cherokee. Karen who did the quote and scheduling, was very pleasant and professional. Her estimate was 40% less than another I obtained at a "National" repair place. The repair was done timely and repaired the damage so that it is impossible to tell it was ever damaged. When settling up with Karen, she informed me they were able to cut 5 hours work off the bill so my total was less than the estimate. How many firms do you know that would pass a savings of 5 hours time to the customer rather than increasing their profit margin.
