While the damage looks small, it was pretty bad, all suspension was messed up, tires were missing chucks, and every panel on the right side had damage. As a USAA customer, Precision Autobody was recommended and team was awesome, after over $18000 in repairs my car was good as new. 6 months later its running great. I just want to say thanks again. Not a great experience. I had to have two doors replaced on my older F250. What I got back was not great work. The doors were completely orange peeled and they did not replace the pin stripes which were part of the agreement. The panel alignment was also way off. In fairness, they did take the truck back in to do the pin stripes and attempt to correct the badly orange peeled doors. We actually gave them a chance and paid additional money to have the entire side of the truck painted to better match.. Well it did, the horrible orange peel is now complete from front to back on the entire side. The staff was professional and courteous but the actual work was sub-par. My bottom line is, that I cannot recommend these guys unless you plan to just sell your car. Sadly, I am embarrassed by my truck now. read more

The good the bad the ugly! In February I was hit hard by an uninsured driver who was driving way too fast in the ice and snow. She completely messed up the back of my car! After reading some reviews online I took my car in to precision auto for repairs. I took my car in on February 2nd and received my car back on March 4th. I was completely caught off guard when I checked my car into precision auto as two of the receptionist were not wearing masks. It was particularly confusing because there was a sign right in front of the receptionist saying masks required. Talk about an uncomfortable situation. I have never been in an environment since COVID-19 hit where people just do not have on a mask in a public space. And this is a very small closed space! All of the other employees were wearing masks , as well as the customers. Even though I felt uncomfortable, I went ahead and registered my car to be fixed. I was told that my car would be ready in 10 to 14 days. It was not until a month later i was able to pick up my car. My insurance did not cover a rental and I was lucky to borrow a car for that time but it was quite irritating it took so long. I am not going to deduct any stars off for this however, because the work they did it was wonderful. My car looks really good and I am very happy with the repair they did. Would I have liked it back sooner? Of course. But because they did such a good job, I am OK with it taking longer than originally stated. What I am not OK with is however, is that when I picked up my car, the receptionist was not wearing a mask. Again! Really? After I got my car I called the manager and asked him why she wasn't wearing a mask. He replied that they have an air filtration system and it was very hard for her to communicate with a mask on. Yes, you read that correctly and I am letting it be known that this auto body shop prioritizes the comfort of their employee over the safety and health of their other employees and customers. Is this even OK for them to do? I don't think so! Well the manager was very nice, but he never apologized when I said I was uncomfortable that she wasn't wearing a mask. He didn't say he was going to ask her to wear a mask either. Rather, he said he was going to put more signs up about the air filtration system. Yes, you read that correctly once again! Are you serious? So, that is the good the bad the ugly about precision auto. If you are concerned about your safety and health, make sure you've had your vaccine before you enter this body shop. Or, wait a few years to get your vehicle fixed. Otherwise take your chances. They did a great job on the repair, but I don't know that I would go back again given the fact that they don't seem to care about their health of their employees or customers. read more

They did such a great job on my Terrain. I was t-boned at an intersection and they took care of everything with my insurance (USAA). They were also the only shop that could get me in within the first week of my accident. Everyone else had waiting out to two months. I didn't have time for that, so I took my chances on Precision despite some of the reviews. Overall, I highly recommend them. They did an awesome job and always kept me in the loop. Unfortunately I have had to bring my new truck to precision twice in the couple of months that I have owned it. First time was for someone side swiping me and the second time was for hail damage. Both times Janet and Jason were very professional and took great care of me and my truck. Their customer service is the best I have experienced and the attention to detail their shop does is by far the best I have ever seen. I cannot recommend Precision auto body enough for how amazing of a job they have done, both times my new truck looks just like it did rolling off of the assembly line. This last time for the hail damage they went above and beyond by even dropping me off at my rental car company when enterprise failed to show up to pick me up. I would never recommend this place to anyone. Staff is very rude and highly unprofessional. They left my headliner unfinished, caused water damage, made a lot of new scratches on my truck, and made a cut in my leather. I had a fairly straight forward repair...replace the back bumper of my truck after getting rear ended. Precision got a copy of my insurance estimate so they could order parts but told me they wouldn't be able to get me in for a month. (That's ok, shops are backed up) On a Monday morning I dropped off my truck and got into an insurance rental (another truck). The estimated length of repair was 4 days with one "open" item that needed further investigation. On Weds afternoon, I get a call from the shop. I'm expecting an update. No. Instead, they state they haven't even started on it and won't get to it for another month!! Why have me drop it off and spend 3days in a rental if it just sits?! To add insult to injury, they now are saying they won't cover the 3 days of lost rental expense I'll incur when I get the truck fixed...unless I bring it back to them! Fat chance. Getting a time slot at a shop may take a while. Repairs can take longer than expected. I get all of that. But to do nothing and then not to cover the costs born by YOUR decision not to do a repair you said you were ready for?! That's the height of arrogance! read more

I was involved in a collision shortly after moving to Colorado, in my new car with 1500 miles on it. The front end required pretty much a complete rebuild, and Precision was on my insurance company's preferred list ( and has been for over 30 years). Looking at the car after they finished, you cannot tell that anything happened. They used OEM parts, and guarantee their work for the life of the car. The staff is friendly and professional- I can't imagine another shop being as good as this one. I feel lucky that I basically stumbled upon them- the service they provide is fantastic. They said it would take three weeks to repair (it was over thanksgiving too) and three weeks later I was driving off their lot with my truck looking better than ever. This vendor was on my insurance's approved vendor list. I had 3 repairs done by them in 2 years. The 1st repair was completed quickly and with high quality. A run-in with an elk required hood replacement, paint match, and re-clear bra. Then a year later, my car was stolen and required a dent in the hatch repaired, the ignition column replaced, and the muffler replaced. All those were completed, however, they had their associated mechanical shop next door replace the muffler and replace a broken gear. They took the maximum amount of time to finish the repair, running out my rental coverage, which was about a month. When i went to pick up my car, I immediately noticed unusual metal noises in the shifter even without the engine on, so they took it back for another week to disassemble the gearbox and go over it again. Even after that, there were still occasions where it was difficult to move the shifter out of gear when parked. A month later, a hit and run damaged my rear passenger door and they repaired that as well. After I drove home, I discovered they hadn't reassembled the front passenger door handle correctly so that a passenger couldn't open the door from inside. I had to return it for another day for them to fix that. Later, I discovered the rain gutter cover was broken at the rear tip and several pieces that hold the cover in place were broken. Also later, I noticed that 3 screws securing the mudflaps to the car were missing and had not been reattached. A month of so after the last repair, I was almost stranded (and about to call for a tow) when I could not get the car out of gear in a parking lot for several minutes until the car behind me left and I was able to back the car up to release the gear into neutral. I then brought the car into my trusted mechanical shop and they discovered metal fragments in the gear box and had to completely replace the transmission. Fortunately my insurance covered this re-repair and charged Precision back for it. After this, I received a bill from the rental company saying Precision refused to pay for the rental for the time that ran over the insurance coverage. I will not be returning to Precision. Do not go there if you have any non-body related damage as their associated mechanical shop that they subcontract work to is highly suspect in their competence. read more

I hhad some repair work done in Jan. of 2013. Bill did a good job on what he did, but was high on his prices, $832.oo for a dent 18"x2'. there was a slight scartcha few inches away that could hav been buffed out in 2 min. along with a couple of other ones. I assumed for the price and the fact that he was already doing the right side of the van, that he would do the whole door to match. He does do good work, are nice to deal with, but are high in their prices. I would not go back for anything there. read more

I went in for a quote. I was given a copy of the quote after them looking at the car for five minutes. I also asked get an email of the quote. They were the same. I asked them later if the quote included EVERYTHING including the rocker bar (I believe this is the name). When I filled out my paperwork at the beginning I requested a phone call after three days, I am the one that had to call to get any answers. I was then told that the car door sealed fine without the rocker bar being repaired so I said OK I don't want it fixed then. So when I picked up my car I was anticipating it being 1700 not 2100 since 2100 was the initial quote. I came home and looked at my estimate and couldn't find rocker bar on there. I feel as though I was taken advantage of because I am a woman. They were very nice until the end, I called on the day of pickup to see what time I could pick up my car and they were very rude. They seemed upset that I was calling, but I have two kids and limited people to take me there. I needed a time. They seemed very put off that someone would ask this question. I am not impressed with their service and they are NOT truthful. If you are a woman take someone with you or you will not get a fair deal and will not be told the entire truth. read more
