Snyders Auto Works is a 4.5 star auto service business. The quality of service they provide isn't going to change because a gang stole cars from them. Denver has been plagued with auto thefts. All sorts of gangs are steeling anything. It was a Saturday night the 3rd, closed on Sunday 4th (perhaps they found out on Sunday or Monday 5th) and you found out on Monday the 5th. That isn't "days later". Your review was written on Tuesday the 6th. They had a load of legal issues to deal with, and damage control had to be on the top of their mind. What a nightmare for them. Can you imagine what all they were dealing with and they are not perfect. That affected all their customer's and much more, that's a lot to deal with. Slandering the company like you did, two days after the incident, was the last thing they needed. It certainly doesn't show any form of understanding of the situation. read more

After researching different body shops in the Denver Metropolitan Area and deciding to pay out of pocket to keep my insurance premiums down, I landed upon Snyder's Auto Works and couldn't be more pleased with the work they did on my 2022 Audi Q3 after hitting a side pillar in my garage on New Years Eve, that required a new rear passenger side door and quarter panel, directly after my breaking up with my girlfriend. Needles to say, it wasn't an ideal way to bring in the New Year, however, the work performed at Snyder's Auto Works has been one of the highlights of 2022. Their quote was extremely fair as was the final price, the timetable exceeded my expectations and the work on my Audi is exceptional. This is a body shop who puts the customers wants and needs first. They don't overpromise and under deliver, they do what they say they're going to do and if anything they over deliver. From their communication to the work they do, this is an excellent shop across the board and one I highly recommend doing business with if you need work done on your vehicle. The entire process was painless, which is not easy to come by, especially with so many parts on backorder, especially for foreign made vehicles. They made me aware of this possibility and fortunately that wasn't the case whatsoever. Not only did they fix the outside of my vehicle, they detailed the inside of my vehicle and outside, allowing me to pick up a fresh new vehicle that was well worth the money spent. Lastly, I'm the exception as most people would've went through their Insurance and if I decided to do so, they have a great relationship with USAA. Fortunately, I was in a position where I was able to come out of pocket and save my Insurance rates from increasing. If I could offer Snyder's Auto Work higher than a 5 star rating I would. The best auto body repair shop in Denver? . . . No. Snyder's Auto Works is simply the best auto body repair shop in world! Look, you're going to think I'm exaggerating, but when you read what happened, I think you'll agree. Take a look at my semi-amusing review about Enterprise Rent-A-Car below for the description of how my car got smooshed. What you need to know here is that Mark and his crew are going to take care of you like you were their favorite broke niece or nephew. They repaired my car's insured damage beautifully, but what they did after that is why I'm now their biggest fan. I figured that since my car was going into the shop anyway, I should get a separate estimate for repair of the pretty significant 10 years of scrapes and dents I'd accumulated that weren't covered by insurance and that I'd be paying for out of my own pocket. Previously I'd taken my car in for an estimate from a respected shop to see what it would cost me to get all that other damage repaired. The estimate I got was well over $4,000 (I play hard with my machines:). Told em, "Nah, I'll live with it," and never had the work done. When I asked Mark Snyder to give me an estimate he came in at around $2,000. That's a huge difference. Bottom line: when I got my car back it was like one of those Biggest Loser reveal moments. My thrashed and trashed automobile came back looking like the automobile equivalent of Rhonda Rousey: buff, beautiful and ready to kick butt. Now if that were the end of the story, Snyder's would still be worth 5 stars . . . but wait, there's more. Years ago I tore the rooftop antenna off my car driving too soon under a garage door. Was told by the dealer it would cost me over $400 to replace it. Nope. Too expensive. So for the last 5 years I've lived essentially without a car radio. Yesterday when I was driving home from Snyder's I was grooving out to an old Nora Jones CD . . . but it wasn't. When the song ended the DJ came on and I realized that it was from my radio. When I got out of my car I looked at the roof and there was a new antenna! I couldn't believe it. I'd never talked with Mark about replacing the antenna and the cost for it was never on the estimate. This morning I went back after buying a dozen donuts and a coffee shop gift card for Mark and his crew, and walked in on him at his desk. He saw me and said, "Hey, is everything OK? Ya like the car?" I told him I couldn't believe that he'd replaced my antenna when we'd never even talked about it, and he just smiled in his kind unassuming way and said, "Yeah, we figured you'd like that." Unbelievable. Now I can't guarantee that you all are going to luck into the same kind of Elysian Field of auto body dreams that I did, but I can tell you that Mark's shop is the best place for you to have your car fixed and that's a fact you can count on. They said it happened on saturday and didn't tell us until yesterday when we were supposed to pick up the car. I guess they were trying to do damage control but couldn't and told us days later. I cannot say enough good things about working with Michael & Mark at Snyder Auto Works. A few summers ago I ran my truck off a trail whilst camping in Eagle County and royally messed up the front end. Fortunately I was able to limp back to Denver and research auto body shops. I wanted a shop that was close to downtown so I could bike to/fro and valued Yelp reviews. And I wasn't disappointed. I had recently switched insurance companies and rather than make a claim decided to pay out of pocket. I had to wait 2-4 weeks to get the truck in for repair but it was worth the wait. (Also, I live & work downtown and bike everywhere so the wait wasn't an issue). I felt the quote was reasonable considering the damage I did and am glad that I waited to have Snyder fix my truck. Their work was impeccable and was finished in the time promised. It's never fortunate when you have to visit an auto body shop but when you do it's nice to work with people you find trustworthy. Especially when you're paying out of pocket. Recently I brought my pickup back to Snyder to fix a broken tailgate and cracked windshield. I also had a damaged door lock system from an attempted theft. Michael suggested I search Ebay for the lock mechanism rather than order a part from the manufacturer saving me around $250. I find their work stellar, pricing reasonable, and they've always had my truck finished on time. I highly recommend Snyder Auto Works, it's worth the wait. read more

My wife and I were driving from Chicago to San Diego on our move across country. In Kansas, the front right wheel well rock guard/shield came unhinged and the tire was shredding it (no tire damage) We got it jerry-rigged in the middle of nowhere auto shop. We arrived in Denver late night and took it in the next day. We told the mechanics that we needed to leave the next day for Utah. We only had 24hrs for repairs. They called a Honda dealership who had the part. We drove over and picked it up and returned. The two gentlemen (names escape me) both worked on the repair and got us out of there 1hr 45mins. That includes the 45 min round trip drive to the Honda dealership. They were amazing, honest, and quick. read more

I just had a great experience with Synder's. I had a big ding, door was crumbled some. They came in much less expensive than another more commercial with their bid. With the other company I had to make an appointment for my bid and the other company wanted lots of personal information to make the bid and ID on my car etc. Synder's they told me to come by anytime to get the bid during business hours. I have a foreign high performance car. They had it done in 4 days earlier than expected and somewhat less expensive. Super nice people,great work and service. Don't let the cat out of the office! This review is coming a few months late, but I've been meaning to post it. Snyder's autoworks is legitimate. After sustaining some bumper damage to my car I took it to 3 different shops for quotes, but Mark Snyder beat them all (one by over $200!!!). I needed a whole new front bumper cover with paint, so it was going to be a decent bill. When he found out I had been shopping around, he knocked the price down an additional $40 just to sweeten the deal, which I appreciated greatly. I dropped off my car, the work was done on-time, and I had even asked if he could use any extra paint to dab some other scratches/dings I had on my car, and he did this free of charge (not that I'd imagine it would take him long). He even fixed up the mudflaps on my car since they had come loose in between getting my original quote and dropping the car off - again at no additional charge. What sealed the deal though, was the day I went in to get my car I didn't have my quote with me, but he took me at my word! He asked for the remainder of the bill, to which I responded, 'oh, you quoted me $XXX amount', and he politely asked to see the quote. Legitimately under the impression he had kept it when I brought the car in for the repair, I told him so, and he seemed unsure (never impolite) but accepted this as reasonable, and he cashed me out at the originally agreed upon price. About a week later I was cleaning my apartment and bam - there it was. It was my fault to have forgotten my paperwork...and he had honored the quote anyway. You have to give props for that. All in all I would recommend Snyder. Not being a mechanic I can't say if what I got charged was fair, or 'as low as possible' [hence I don't feel qualified to give him a 5 star review], but it beat 2 other quotes, the work was good, and he took care of me as a customer. Genuine people who care about the work they are doing and the cars they are repairing. I came to Mark with what most would probably consider a ridiculous issue - a rattle in my driver's side door. The rattle that has driven me crazy for 8 months nonstop. Ford couldn't find fix it (surprise). Upon visible inspection, Mark could see nothing wrong with the door alignment, or the weather sealing on the inside of the door. He asked me to leave it with him for an hour and he would inspect it a little further. I picked up my truck with zero rattle and zero charge because it was such a minor fix. The rattle seemed like a minor deal to Mark, but was a huge deal to me... I tried paying, and tried tipping, but was asked to just send people Mark's way. Really great to have people you can count on and feel good about giving your business to. Do yourself a favor and go see the folks at Snyders. read more

I recently took my car here due to an incident I had with a concrete pole (thing came out of nowhere...). I lease my car and my lease is up soon so I needed to make sure that it got taken care of 100%. I went to another place first for an estimate which I thought was absurd and read the reviews on here and decided to give it a shot. They estimated me at a price that I thought was extremely fair and they had my car for about 12 days. It looks amazing. I have no idea how they did what they did but you can't even tell anything was wrong. The staff was great to work with and super honest. All I can say is wow. My experience with Snyder's Body Shop was above and beyond anything I expected. This is the best auto bodyshop in Denver hands down. Michael really knows his stuff and will provide you with a fair and comprehensive estimate. He is absolutely an artist when it comes to repairing cars. Jennifer at the front desk made the whole payment process seamless and painless. I loved too that they use text messages to let you know the status of your car. I went in for a bumper repair, but Michael used the leftover paint to touch up bare spots and scratches all around my car; I will forever be so grateful. I dented my bumper and went to Snyder's to get an estimate on it. I ended up not needing to replace the bumper, but when I came back and asked if he could make a quick fix and bend my bumper so that there was more clearance for my new tires, he stopped what he was doing and found the right tools I needed to do it. Then he did it for free. Excellent customer service, this guy really helped me out. I will definitely be coming back here when I need some real body work done. read more

I used Snyders as a result of a minor fender-bender that required body repair to my Kia Soul. I chose them for their high reviews on Yelp and close proximity to my home. I was not disappointed with the service. Mark Snyder gave me a fair estimate on the damage but also immediately let me know how backed up he was with hail damage repair. I really appreciated the upfront disclosure before scheduling my repair. Once I was scheduled, the repair took exactly as long as Mark said it would (one week). As a bonus, I got my car back in better interior condition than when I left it. The inside was vacuumed and cleaned--no small feat since I own a dog and had dog hair all over the back seats! Snyders may not look like much from the outside, and Mark's filing system of manila folders may seem old school. Rest assured he's putting his time and effort where it should be--great service and excellent repair work. I hope never to need body work but, if I do, I will DEFINITELY use Snyders again. read more

My car was rear ended with a fair amount of damage. Mark was recommended to me by a friend and I took my car there for an estimate before the adjuster had a chance to see it. I also got another estimate. (I wanted to be prepared for the adjuster.) The adjuster gave me a higher estimate than the two that I already had. I took the car back to Mark for the repair. SUBARU OWNERS-THIS PLACE IS THE BEST! Snyder Auto handled the body work on my car after someone ran into the back of my 2014 Subaru Impreza Sport. The work was completed in a week and they even went around and touched up the paint around the car that was not impacted by the accident. They fixed the problem, went above and beyond, and handled the payment with the insurance company. When I picked up my car, it was one of 6 Subarus being serviced there. While I had a good experience with this shop in the past, sadly I wasn't happy with the recent body work I had done. When I picked up my car there were several bubbles in the paint and still some evidence of the damage on my bumper. I noticed new minor damage that wasn't there when I dropped off the car, but they buffed that out right away when I brought it up. They did fix some items that weren't part of the insurance damage, which was appreciated. However, the work just wasn't up to the standard I thought it would be. Also, the woman who answers the phone is not personable at all, and she comes off a little rude at times. I used them in the past for hail damage repair and they did a fantastic job, so I guess it can be hit or miss. They are fairly fast and honest and only charge for what is done. The only reason I bring this up is that I've dealt with another shop in Denver that submitted supplements for work that was never done. read more

Honest, quick, and pain free! Had my car driver's side view mirror swiped. Was able to find a part online. Called a couple places to get an estimate for install (unfortunately, I don't really have the time or tools to learn how to do it myself). Most places were charging ~70-120 or didn't have openings until April. When I called Snyder, the front desk also said they ask didn't have openings until April, but if it was a simple fix to just come in and see if they could do it on the spot - which is exactly what happened. Snyder sent me across the street for a cup of coffee (on the house!) while I waited. And my car was ready in less than 20 minutes. Didn't even charge me for the full hour. Wow, I don't even know where to begin. I walked in last week after reading so many wonderful reviews. I have been leasing my VW beetle and its up for inspection at the end of the month. I had some major dings and a light completely fallen out of my 2012 Beetle. I asked Mark to take a look and quote me for everything so I wouldn't have to pay thousands more to have the dealership fix it when I returned the car. Anyways, Mark stopped what he was doing to check out the car and assess the damages I had done. It was clear that he was super busy, the fact that their voicemail box is full. But he took the time to sit with me and explain what should be done to return the car without issues. They were booked our for hail damages through October, but he said to bring the car by first thing Monday and he would start on it. They literally busted their asses all week to get it done so I could use it for my catering business on Friday. Craziness. Literally, no one else would have done this. In fact, my buddy suggested I get a second quote at Rickenbaugh Collision. I went by just to appease him and they wouldn't even look at it for three weeks. Uh yeah, I knew I found a good thing with Snyder's Auto Works. Honest, hard working men, who make every customer feel like their business counts. Beyond this pleasant service, my car looks immaculate. The new paint is flawless and you can't even tell that I got side swiped by a truck on the rear wheel panel, which had a few days ago, sported a HUGE dent. I bent my running board on my Forerunner and tore off a piece of the plastic panel on the back side door. I thought great this is going to cost my at least $500 to get fixed. I took it to Snyder Autoworks yesterday, (Thursday) after it happened and they said they could fix it Friday morning. They were able to use some sort of hydraulic jack to bend the running board back into place and move it forward about 3 inches so it looks almost like new. They were able to attach the plastic side piece and it looks great as well. I was pleasantly surprised that my bill was only $72. Mark said it did not take all that long and that was all I had to pay. I am very happy as now I have extra money for the weekend! This is the second time I have been to Snyder and I highly recommend them. read more

I recently had a hit and run on my bumper and my neighbor damaged the side of my door when leaving our parking garage. I received several estimates and felt that some of them were really outrageous and that the auto mechanic shops were trying to nickel and dime their customers for every penny. Snyder provided a fair estimate and was honest about the outcome of the work they were going to do for my car. For example, they repainted my bumper. They were not able to use the same paint as the original bumper (I have a Subaru Forester), but they were able to match the paint on the rest of the vehicle. These guys in my experience went above and beyond what I ever expected. I got hit, my car wouldn't start and the owner came over (I live a block away) and jump started my car. He then looked at my car to see what was going in and why it wasn't starting. Because of this awesome guy I took my car to get it fixed totally at the shop. The communication with them was excellent- even stayed open 15 more min because I got off of work at 5 pm when they closed.
