Today is 12/8. I already have the new mirror, I just need someone to install it. Honestly, that made no sense to me. It's a one-hour job at most, with zero prep needed since I already bought the part. I asked the body tech if the schedule was pushed that far out because the job doesn't make them much money, and he basically admitted that's the reason. What he didn't seem to understand is that a simple job like mine could've earned them another 5-star review, which brings in more paying customers and more money in the long run. Instead, I was left feeling like my business wasn't worth their time, and that's disappointing for a shop with such solid reviews.

When I asked about how this happened Kirt did an investigation and discovered that one of their technicians was responsible. A mistake on their part. What was really amazing and speaks the integrity of Kirt and Applewood was the admission of their mistake and a willingness to repair the scratches. No question, from their perspective, that repairing the mistake was their responsibility and their cost. Additionally, when I picked the truck up, Applewood had completely detailed the inside of the cab and washed the truck. Amazing. Much appreciated and unexpected. I highly recommend Kirt and Applewood because of their integrity and quality of the work.

Once the parts arrived they called and I dropped the car off. That same week they tell me they didn't receive all the parts which was fine for week one. By week 2 they were able to start painting the front bumper though and still hadn't gotten all the parts. Once the bumper was painted the car sat for about a week while they waited on the last part then they realized they had messed up painting the front bumper. But they were able to get another pretty quick and they got the last part by the middle the week 4. Keep in mind I had to call them to get updates most of the time. They did call me a couple time. So at the start of week 4 they said they would have the car done and ready by Friday. But come Thursday I receive a call saying they lost one of the parts (an under belly panel that isn't small) and would have to order a new one. Which did arrive until Monday of week 5. This is when I called them at about 10am asking for an update. They said they just received the part and would have the car ready. Keep in mind this is the underbelly panel in which I've removed and put back on before and it's take roughly 30 minutes. But come 6 hours later I called them for an update and they said they would be done in 30 minutes. Overall just a really frustrating experience. A lot of false hopes. And this isn't the first time it's happened to me with them. Not great at communicating. Other than that the car came out looking good. It was just a very frustrating situation.

I've never dealt with a more frustrating and unprofessional service experience in my life. What…read moreshould have been a simple windshield replacement turned into a 90+ day nightmare. From the start, communication was completely inconsistent. I told them OEM glass was required, and they ignored that, installing the wrong glass and delaying the repair by another week. After finally installing the correct windshield, my eyesight camera (worth $1,800+) wouldn't calibrate--something they clearly failed to handle properly. I then had to take my car to a Subaru dealership, where it sat for 24 hours just for them to diagnose Safelite's mistake. They determined the camera was actually broken, and I had to fight Safelite just to take responsibility. Even after that, it took over 45 days for them to get the replacement part--with zero proactive communication. I had to call them myself just to find out it had even arrived. After they "fixed" it, the camera failed again within a week. When I spoke with a manager, she told me I'd need to bring the car in for a FOURTH visit and promised to call me back to schedule. She never called. It's now been two weeks, and my car is still not properly repaired. This entire experience has been defined by poor communication, lack of accountability, and extremely unprofessional management. The only bright spot was a technician named Elliott, who was the only competent and helpful person I interacted with. Avoid this location unless you want to waste time, chase down basic updates, and deal with repeated mistakes. Oh, and spend $100+ on Ubers back and forth to the shop.
