While driving on Interstate 80 in Nebraska last week, a wooden chair for a dining table suddenly appeared in my lane. It apparently feel off a truck and I tried to avoid it but hit it with the right side of my front fender. There is a black trim piece on my fender that was popped out about a half of an inch and I asked an employee, Ben, if this could be fixed without taking the trim off. Within a few minutes he was able to push the trim back into place and I was on my way home. I can not thank Ben enough for his willingness to help me and appreciated his kind demeanor. I have never had a good experience with any caliber collision ever, and I've only been in 2 accidents in recent years. The first time my Subaru the repairs took almost 7 or 8 months to finish, and when they did it was still not fully repaired so we had to take it back for even longer. The second time I took it there was recently I was hit in my golf R and it damaged the cooling systems and a lot of the body in the front right of my car. I recently got it back and the body looks good but they handed me the car and 1 minute after driving my check coolant light turns on. I take it back and they take it in and said they fixed it. Over the weekend not even after driving the car for less than one hour that light pops back up again. I later found out they did not fix everything and I have coolant leaking still. Would not recommend. read more

I unfortunately was involved in an accident with someone who didn't have insurance and I had to pay my deductible to get my car fixed. I worked with Ben throughout the whole process and he always got back to my email quickly and kept me updated throughout the whole process. They did an amazing job putting the car back together. All the body lines match perfectly and they did an amazing job! They were very friendly and knowledgeable and I appreciate them for what they did! I would trust them to work on any of my cars as they seemed to be careful and respectful of my property. They even cleaned the interior of the car and it looked brand new again! We had our vehicle repaired at caliber. Got it back and color match was terrible! Heavy orange peel. Took it back general manger agreed to correct it. Got it back color was same but the rear right corner had be polished to a brilliant shine but rest of the vehicle still has heavy orange peel. So basically all they did was polish the right side corner and gave it back. Would NOT recommend caliber!!!! Shady Business practice. read more

The driver's side rear quarter panel was damaged in an accident on the way home from my father's funeral. It was the day from hell. At the recommendation of my insurance company I took it to Caliber collision. I was skeptical that the repair could be done to my satisfaction. It was a new car without a scratch on it. It is a Honda CRV. The dent went from the bumper to the roof. They cut out the damaged part of the body and welded in a new section and matched the custom paint color flawlessly. You would never know it was damaged. It was done in a timely manner and I couldn't be more pleased. read more

My chevy truck was hit in the front. After it was hit it would not develop oil pressure. I had the truck towed to Caliber on the recommendation of my insurance company. When I handed it over I expressly told the service writer Jason not to run the engine until it had been repaired. When I got the call my truck was done I was excited and asked what they did to fix the oil pressure problem. Jason said they reved it up and the pressure came up. When I got there and paid my bill they brought the truck around and left it running. It was already knocking. I took it to Jason who told me I had to take it to a mechanic. These people do nice body work but do not entrust them to follow your instructions. They apparently think they know better and cost me about $5k. read more

I chose this body shop due to the fact that AMFAM stated they were a "preferred" service provider. AMFAM stated they sent over my claim to Caliber in advance so they would have my info. I then made an appointment roughly 2 weeks out. I made arrangements with my wife for the day to take her car in to caliber on the day of my appointment. I even took the time to wash my car so it would be clean and easier for them to see the damage. Upon arriving- they had no record in their system of my appointment. The receptionist stated that their online appointment system doesn't work most of the time. They also went on to say that they had no record of AMFAM's claim in their system (which I later verified that AMFAM had sent it). Their only solution was to schedule another appointment which was over a week out. Stay away. read more

These guys did a good job fixing my car when I got in an accident this past summer. What I didn't lie was the guy who was in charge of my car. When I asked for timelines he said one week. Then when I called to find out when I could pick it up he said oh it'll be another week. He had just ordered all the parts!! If you go here make sure you get a real timeline. read more

My visit to Hank's was the third of three I made in consideration of a body shop to repair my car after someone backed into me. Completely unfamiliar with Denver body shops, I was kinda on my own to find a place I felt comfortable with. Running late, I called ahead to leave a message with my ETA. When I arrived, I was greeted warmly, and shown to a comfortable waiting area. In just a couple minutes, the estimator assigned to me greeted me in a warm and professional manner, and we walked out to my car together. The moment he put his hands on my car, I knew I had found the right body shop. Instead of just taking pictures, and documenting the damage, he felt the car to identify underlying damage that wasn't apparent to the naked eye, and had only been identified by one of the previous two body shops I had visited. The estimate was prepared quickly, and within a half hour of my arrival, I was on my way. The only negative about this shop is that it is b-u-s-y. It took more than a week to get in for the estimate and will take two for me to get the car in to be repaired. The insurance adjuster told me Hank's has an excellent reputation and has been in business for a long time. I'll update my review when my repair is complete. A bonus is that there is an Enterprise Rental Car location on site. read more

I recently took my brand new Honda in for hail damage repair, and it looks brand new again! They were extremely fast and even came in under my insurance estimate. You can tell a lot about a business by how they react when things don't go as planned, and when I arrived to pick up the vehicle there was a misunderstanding about if it would be ready ( my misunderstanding), but they were courteous and hustled to get the car to me even though it was Friday evening...Brandie the manager on duty and Carl who went over the car and the front desk receptionist, were all phenomenal. Hind sight is 20/20 went into caliber blind about auto repair and working with insurance I would do everything different now, but its to late damage done by Caliber agent who had no regard what so ever about what my car or what I wanted meant to me I was very clear about my passion for my car he did not CARE I was just another car the next customer Multitude calls through out the day Agent was always with another or on lunch, working with the receptionist was no better I had to repeat my name and number 2 to 3 times every call. It was only after I asked to speak with a manager did the agent call back , I hope you get the picture I picked my car up before any work started finally I had 20/20 about Caliber personal Best of luck to you if choose them. I had my new Hyundai Santa Fe for a week and a half before getting stuck in the now infamous hail storm. Fortunately no broken glass but lots and lots of ping ball size dents. Even being slammed with calls and estimates the employees at the Caliber on Robb St. in Wheatridge were always very friendly and professional. I had a hood replacement done by Hank's Auto Body 10 yrs ago. When Caliber bought them out, we were told that all of Hank's warranties transferred over to Caliber. Well now my hood has no paint left on it from the shitty work done and Caliber is claiming that the warranties from Hank's are now void which is bs because we received papers in the mail when they bought them out stating these warranties were good still!!! I'm not one to write reviews, but I have to say Caliber Collision did a fantastic job fixing the hail damage on my new truck. Amazing work! And looks just like new. The people at the front desk were very pleasant and helpful. The manager called to let me know when it would be done they delivered just as promised. No surprise costs and they washed and polished the truck, including the inside. A couple days later I noticed they even cleaned out the bed of the truck that has a tonneau cover, that's great service. So thank you Caliber for a job well done. The work that was done was just OK... I would probably give 3 starsfor the mediocre work done but they damaged the rear taillight and did not even offer to replace it. They actually GLUED it back together. They claimed that since it had already had a little crack on it that it wasn't their fault. I say even if it had some damage and they didn't care enough to be extra careful... They more than doubled the original damage... They should have the decency to replace the whole thing. Pretty piss poor job using glue on a car repair. read more

Caliber did great work in repairing the entire fight side of my 2016 Ford. After 6 months my door became mis-aligned. I called and they told me to bring it in immediately. My quality control manager took care of it with no hesitation. I had a terrible experience with this company they explained to me how I was the unfortunate few that they could not get the car back to the way it was prior to the accident. They were not great at returning my phone calls they damaged a piece of my vehicle as well and told me it was bot there fault. They did try to make amends by delivering my car to me, but when I finally received my vechicle, the work was still done incorrectly. So after two screw ups, I am looking for another location to fix my car. I will not return to this location, nor would I recommend it. read more

Formerly known as Hanks, caliber collision did an excellent job repairing my tacoma. I brought it in after State Farm told me that I needed to have my truck inspected because of pre-existing hail damage. The State Farm rep (David?) was super cool, and we had a great conversation as he inspected my tacoma. I decided to have it repaired at caliber, based on the good reviews, the fact that I was already there, the friendliness of their staff, and the tight deadline that I had. They had me come in days before my appointment, because they wanted to get it finished ASAP. They even had a rental car there for me in no time. Although the repairs costed roughly 500 more than State Farm estimated, it was still repaired under state farms dime...three days earlier than estimated. Whoo! Ashley was awesome to work with, was always helpful, and actually remembered my name (which is pretty rare). I came in about half way though the repairs to pick up my slightly damaged bumper for a friend. She proceeded to take me in the shop to show me the pending repairs. Soooooooo cool! The truck was repaired very well, as there was no noticeable orange peeling on the paint. Everything was top notch. Overall, I would give caliber collision a 5 star review for friendliness, professionalism, and great work. read more

Don't waste your time here. I can't review their work because I never could get that far. I called to make an appointment for an estimate and was told that the earliest was three weeks out. No problem. Show up for my appointment on time and was asked to take a seat and Chris would be out in a minute. Fifteen minutes goes by and she says she will check with him because he is in a meeting. Well I can see the meeting because he is just across the room with his door open,sitting down talking to another employee about their work. I can hear their conversation. Twenty five minutes goes by and I ask again. She goes in and comes back and says I told him you were waiting. No apology or how long it might be, doesn't stick his head out the door to acknowledge me, he just keeps sitting there going on with his conversation. After thirty minutes it became very obvious that he could care less about their customers and I was out of there. I can only imagine how bad their service must be once they get your vehicle in the door. read more
