Although C/C had friendly staff. The repair took over a month and I had to do the legwork to get the parts for C/C from the dealership or it may have been longer. Next, the paint job that was done was subpar. I had a new hood and front clip installed and painted. When I received my car back for inspection the hood had 100 or so bubbles and the front clip had a chip and scratch from reinstatlation. This was just after being freshly painted. I was disappointed of course because this is my show car not my daily driver. read more

Unbelievably great. Front-end damage and driver-side passenger door damage was significant from hitting a car that shot out from a side street. The driver tried to get away and ended up driving into the side of my car, too. The insurance company was thinking of totaling the car (2020 Prius Prime) but decided to fix it. I took my car in because of a ball hitch hitting my rear end at 75mph. They had my bumper and light replaced in under a week! They keep you properly updated and i appreciate the random texts through the week for any questions/updates! I got my car back in 5 days, 2 days earlier than Expected! They do tell you to not leave anything of value, which in my case was very helpful, when i got back my car the entire trunk had been dug through all my tools out of the bag and everything scattered everywhere. I called Caliber Collision in desperation after a huge runaround with my insurance company and them not accepting the photos and estimate from my shop of choice, after damage had been done to my car. Katie answered at Caliber, calmed me down, and said that even though I may not take my car there, she knew Caliber is on my insurance company's preferred list. She said she would be pleased to help me take the photos and video of the car's damage (which I do not know how to do with a first ever smart phone!). She made time for me the very next morning, explained everything, took all photos, and sent them in to my insurance company. Katie went way above and beyond. I was very impressed with the initial meeting with Justice, the Caliber representative. I should have taken note when the Insurance Adjuster spoke with me and had very inaccurate information about my truck from Caliber. When I dropped my truck off, I was given a 3 week timeline. 1 day shy of 6 weeks, I got my truck back. Let me say that the work is excellent. On the day I dropped it off, I had inquired about getting a few dings in my tailgate taken care of at my expense. I was told that the paintless dent removal person was coming in THAT day and I would hear back from them by the next day. I NEVER heard back about this, even after asking about it time and time again. I thought that it was only Justice that couldn't make or return a call when promised, but I dealt with two other people (one a supervisor) who can't seem to communicate at all! NEVER expect them to call you back! After 4 weeks they had still not found running boards to replace mine. This took me 30 seconds on amazon after getting off the phone where they told me that. I was offered cash back if I wanted to take the truck and purchase my own, or wait for them to come in and then they would replace them. I told them that I wanted it fixed properly, AS THEY HAD BID. They missed EVERY time deadline that they said for getting my truck back, except the last - when I finally had to PUSH. Suffice it to say, I WILL NEVER VISIT CALIBER AGAIN! I have complained to Allstate, who recommended them. I guess I would say that they do great work, if you don't need your car back anytime soon. read more

The service was also very friendly, and they worked very fast once they had the car. However, I was thrown around between 3 different locations between quote and actual work in order to get scheduled. I would first like to start off by thanking CARUTHER from Tynan's Volkswagen. About 3 weeks ago I bought this Amazing vehicle 2020 Tiguan R lIne 2.0 Turbo. Recently I went out to the vehicle sitting in my driveway with the glare of the sun bouncing off my driver side door. I noticed a dent in the door not just anywhere on the door but along the body lines, this became upsetting to me I reached out to Caruther from Tynan's Volkswagen Service Department so he asked me to bring the vehicle in for him to look at it. He saw it walking through the service entrance door 10 ft to 15 ft away. The Recoommedation from Caruther was to take it over to Caliber Collision and see what they could do for me if anything. The Caliber Collision at 10600 East exposition Ave Aurora Colorado 80112. As I pulld into the parking lot there was a Gentlemen later to identified himself as Jake he asked me questions about my vehicle if I purchased it from Tynan's Volkswagen looked over my 2020 Tiguan R lIne Jake mentioned about how pristine condition I kept my Tiguan in. My comment was it was in great condition except for he points at a dent in the body line of the door . He mentioned he had a dent specialist coming in tomorrow to work on another vehicle in their shop he recoomended I come back let his guy look at it and see what if anything they could do for me. I agreed walked into the building exchanged contacted numbers and was given a call first thing in the morning 9:30am I arrived shortly before 10am Jake met me at the Tiguan gave him keys he stated he would need it for 1 hour. I walked over to Tynan's to kill some time . Jake later pulled up in to the Tynan's service area . I came out met him on driver side and the dent was gone bodyline was intacted back to its original shape. I was happy that Jake Shaw - General Manger at this location looked over my vehicle and showed confidence no matter how small of a dent or large of an area he would have to work on I fully trusted him and it gave me hope that my vehicle would be in its Pristine condition once more. The customer service was Amazing, he took time with me to look over my car making some custom suggestions on things in the near future had plans to do. My insurance had chose Caliber for my repairs and I made the first contact with them on 24 Oct to set up an estimate appt in which couldn't be scheduled until 21 Nov. The estimate was completed and I set up the drop off appt at the soonest time which was 12 Dec. I had to take time off from work and coordinate with Enterprise for a rental car in order to drop my vehicle off on this date. When I arrived, I was informed that they failed to order the parts for the repairs and they said they would call me as soon as the parts were in so I could set up the drop off appt again. Caliber never informed me prior to me showing up on 12 Dec that the parts weren't in nor even ordered. I asked if I needed to contact Enterprise to let them know that I would have to change the reservation. They told me that they would call Enterprise to take care of it. I got a phone call later that day from Enterprise asking if I still needed a rental therefore Caliber never called Enterprise like they said they would. After waiting 2 weeks because Caliber didn't call me to let me know if the parts were in, I ended up calling Caliber on 27 Dec to find out that the parts were in and set up another drop off appt for the soonest appt being 4 Jan. I finally was able to drop my vehicle off on 4 Jan and picked it back up on 16 Jan. The whole process obviously took almost 3 MONTHS. I'm not dissatisfied with the final repairs but the process was grueling. read more

Few weeks late for this review but I remembered the care I got when I drove by recently. My wife and I have a car that was in an accident a year ago. Reopened the claim and went to caliber collision. The parking sensors were falling into our bumper because the place in San Diego (not caliber collision) failed to fix it correctly. When I got to the place Jake helped me out RIGHT AWAY. He is an awesome guy! I thought I would have to get a rental and get it a few days later. Nope. Jake took the Prius back to the shop himself and had someone fix it in a matter of minutes. Stay away from this place! I took my car here for a hail damage claim because it was on my insurance company's on your side list. The car was returned to me in worse shape than when I dropped it off. To repair the hail damage the headliner, door panels, trim on the outside of the car, roof rails and headlights needed to be removed. They apparently used a pry tool to remove all of these and caused damage to all of the parts. They lost all or broke all of the subaru clips that held the headliner and interior panels and used aftermarket clips instead of taking the time to order the proper parts. As a result the headliner and panels began to fall off. They put a hole in the headliner with the pry tool, chipped the headlight and broke the gasket around the roof rails. The trim on the doors is bent, the weatherproofing seals around all of the doors and windows are falling off and not placed properly, the sideview mirrors were not reinstalled correctly. A trim piece that goes under the roof rails was not just laid in place and not secured, because they broke the clips that hold it in place. The damage is so bad that my insurance adjustor was concerned that they punctured my airbags with the pry tool when they removed the headliner and that my car would be totaled because of it. Oh yea- they also didn't remove all of the hail damage. They charged my insurance company about $5600.00 to destroy my car. My insurance company wrote an estimate to repair the damage that they caused it and was around $3600.00. The difference between the two was only the parts. That was three months ago and I am still waiting to have all of the damage repaired at a reputable shop. The car still might be totaled depending on an inspection of the airbags. This place delivers shoddy work and has no pride in their workmanship, but has no problem repeatedly asking for a good survey. Go somewhere else- this place will just cause you problems and stress. I can't rave about Caliber Collision enough!! Our driveway has been a constant pain since we moved in and we are currently going back and forth with the city to have it fixed. My bumper has slowly been getting knocked around from the driveway and it finally broke off on Saturday. I went to Caliber Collision to get it fixed and they were SO kind and helpful. They ended up glueing the bumper back on for FREE! I told them I was hoping to make it as cheap as possible and that a major fix would be silly at the moment since the driveway is still messed up. Stay away!! The work was sloppy and cut corners! My bumper is loose, trim is coming lose and paint quality is horrible! They tried to buff the dust the got into the clear coat out and left buffer marks all over the drivers door! If you want to get a shitty job and low quality service take your car here. If there is zero star, I would give it to this place. I took my car for a paint job. The paint looks okey but when they put the part back they suck. The water started leaking inside the car from the sunroof and the headliner is stained now and was not put properly. Screws were missing and a hose under the headliner was not connected at all. They will admit their fault because it has been a while since I took my car their and the problems started coming out. I will not recommend this place to anyone unless you have extra cash to burn to fix their faults somewhere else read more

This place was GREAT! Suggested by my insurance Company (I`m new to the state) I took my SUV into them after it was hit in a parking lot on Christmas Eve. I waited about 15 minutes for the initial appointment to get started where I met Justice (they have a nice comfy couch to sit on in their lobby) who explained their process to me and took my keys to do the evaluation. They were able to get my car in the next week! When I dropped it off, they called to have a rental car service pick me up to obtain my rental. It was great to receive text message updates in regards to the repair status of my SUV. The best part was that Justice met me on a Saturday morning (when they are closed) to retrieve my vehicle. I want to stress that my experience happened in June of 2014. Caliber may have significantly improved their services since. More recent experience seems to indicate this. Recommended by my insurance, I took my truck here after I rear-ended another truck at a stop light. It was my first at-fault in 30 years of driving :( More than a fender bender, but not terrible, it required a new A/C condenser, fan, shroud, front bumper, grille, hood, & re-painting / color-matching of the front end. I had an estimate done earlier in May, which was plenty of time for Caliber to order parts and schedule the work. However, a job which should have taken a week, maybe two at the max, took most of the Summer - thank God I had rental coverage. I wasn't able to pick my truck up until the first week in August - Nearly two months later! The delay was due to problems with parts, Caliber fighting my insurance company, scheduling issues, changes in personnel, etc. All of these could have been foreseen and better dealt with by a team of experienced professionals. It tells me the turn-over rate is high, which doesn't speak well to the quality at Caliber. My original estimator had called for work which was not done and then left the company. I ended up with another representative who was unaware of all the work needed. This resulted in the first of several returns to replace parts called for in the original estimate. The after-market parts were not fitted and installed well, (some of the mounting tabs were even broken or cracked by the installer) resulting in poor fit and loose, crooked parts - also resulting in returns. Aftermarket is fine, but it often requires some expertise in creating a fit and finish equal to OEM condition. This is why good body work costs a lot - it's a craft as much as science. Non-existent apparently at Caliber in July of 2014. Finally, the paint was left with a fine orange-peel texture. When I took it back, the representative actually told me that this was how the vehicle was originally sold. I asked him to compare the orange-peel with the texture on the rest of my vehicle and repeat his statement. They then buffed the paint correctly, but it took them three more days. I wasn't done with Caliber until Mid-August. My problems continued over the next two years as rust from improper painting, damaged parts, and poor workmanship took their toll. My front end was noticeably worse off by April 2016. It happened slowly over time, but as time wore on, I became more and more unsatisfied with Caliber. And then - I was struck while sitting still at a stoplight by another car head on in April 2016. The other driver had already struck one car, and traveled into mine at low speed, resulting in exterior damage only. But the damage was to the exterior parts caliber had placed. Obviously, I tried a different body shop this time and was very satisfied with the results. I will post a review of that shortly. read more

After getting rear-ended I had my car, Percie, taken to Caliber to get fixed up. My entire experience at Caliber was top-notch. From the moment that I walked in the door (ten minutes before they were supposed to open) to the moment I drove away with my newly minted vehicle, my interactions with Caliber were all professional and friendly. While I'm no expert on automotive body work, Percie hasn't looked better in the time that I've owned her, so I'm very pleased with the thoroughness and quality of the work performed. My insurance company recommended this repair shop, but after a month of trying to get anything done with them, I had to change to another shop to even get an estimate done. This was after multiple appointments. They claimed it was due to staff turnover, but eventually I ended up working with the Service manager and he made me wait 45 minutes at my appointment time, didn't get back to me at the end of the day as he had committed, didn't even get back to me even after a reminder call from me, and I never got my estimate in any form to this day. I could be sympathetic to staff turnover, but could not excuse this extremely poor service in the end. I did get my car estimated and completely repaired elsewhere in less time than I spent wasting appointment time here. read more
