I had a great experience at Denver Auto Body and Paint. A bolt anchoring a door hinge on my car became loose. I took my car to Denver Auto Body and Paint and explained the problem. The guy behind the desk told me to wait while he took the car around back saying they would take a look at it. Ten minutes later he was back with the bolt tightened. When I asked what I owed he said nothing. I am not suggesting that people go to Denver Auto Body and Paint because they do free work. Instead I am suggesting that people go there because they are fast and fair. read more

I had a very frustrating experience with Denver Auto Body. I had a good experience with them 20 years ago, so went back in April with damage to our truck door. The repairs themselves seem fine. I would never use them again because of my experience with the front office. I scheduled the repairs so I would have the truck back when we needed to move things over Memorial Day. "No problem," they said, and also said they had no problems working with State Farm. The truck was not ready when promised. When they finally said it was ready a week later, and I went to pick it up, they told me I couldn't have it because State Farm hadn't paid the supplement they had just submitted to the insurer. The only way I could get our vehicle was to pay the full amount of their demand, in cash, that day. I was coerced into fronting more money while they supposedly worked things out with the insurer. We needed our truck. Needless to say that claims process didn't go well either. I picked up the truck in early June. They submitted two or three more supplements to State Farm in June and July and then August--I'm a little hazy on the timing because I had to call State Farm each time and help them find the supplements because the shop could never manage to submit them properly. (State Farm has been very helpful through all this, by the way.) State Farm did process the supplements submitted long after the work was done--they even paid for one even though Denver Auto only did the work AFTER they had billed us, and after I had paid the full bill. (I had to take the truck back for paint work they didn't disclose at the time.) Our insurer refused to pay the final shop supplement, only processed in August, because their expert says that body panel didn't need to be removed in the first place. I'm apparently out that extra cost, above our deductible. I assume most of these billing issues and disputes come from incompetence, though who knows what games these people play. I do NOT recommend Denver Auto Body. read more

I had a bumper that needed replacing and Lyndon Mossman gave me the estimate (which was reasonable), ordered the bumper, and scheduled the work. He scheduled the bumper painting so that it would be completed before he asked me to bring my car in. The result was that I was without a car for only a few hours rather than 4-5 days. He kept me informed of each step: when he received the part, when he completed painting it, and when it was finished and ready to pick up. The job that he and the Denver Auto Body team did was remarkable, and was enhanced by the fact that he had it washed before I saw it again. Thanks Lyndon and Denver Auto Body! read more

I brought a damaged Honda Civic 2009 into the shop in late September 2024. The car couldn't at all be repaired without paying equal or greater than double the value of the car. Ramin Zardoshtian, the manager, and the receptionist Liz, were honest with me about the fact that is wasn't worthwhile to repair and were sympathetic. Since they knew my situation and I needed to get a hold of my title for sale to a junk car buyer (which happened to be with my parents out out of state), they kindly allowed me to store it at the shop for a few days free of charge. It was the kindest thing they could have done. They saved me endless towing fees and inconvenience for essentially nothing in return for themselves. Highly recommended. As a senior, I can't afford a new car, so I maintain my car in the best possible way. Only one repair shop explained the reason for not working on old cars. Having an accouting background, I do understand inventory issue. You can blame Donald Trump and the Republican party for Supply Chair issues. To improve Customer Service, it would have been very helpful to explain the reason for not working on older cars. As for leaving a bad review, that is the purpose of this website so that customer are informed. I did find several repair shops that do work on older cars. It is apparent they know how to find parts for older Honda. So, repair shops that limt their work, they are losing business to older seniors. Since the pandemic, I have notice many companies Customer Service has gone out the window. Even the medical field patient care has gone out the window. So, yelp is the right place for customer to be informed. In regards to a business profit, losing customers, reduces your P&L statement. And if you don't know what a P&L statement is, well check with your CPA. Improve your Customer Service. Just picked up my car this morning... looks perfect! Can't tell any repairs were even done and it's shinier then when I brought it in! Absolutely horrible experience with this shop. I brought in my 2010 tab 4 to have to front bumper and some other things replaced and it was a nightmare. It took them weeks to order the parts, and much longer to receive them. They refused to start work until they had all the parts, "we waited 3 weeks for a fender guard". Tried to charge so many ridiculous fees, my insurance company wouldn't agree. After telling them I'm not paying a cleaning or administration fee they finally agreed. It took nearly 2 months to repair my bumper and fender. My insurance covered my rental for 2 weeks, which is how long this should have taken, so I had no car for 6 weeks. It took so long that the employee I was originally dealing with put in his 2 weeks and left the company. To top it all off, they never put my front license plate back on and never returned it to me. What a nightmare I absolutely do not recommend this shop. Go elsewhere. read more

I came here because they were highly recommended by my Father-in-law. I got T boned by someone running a red light. I was irritated about the whole thing and the last thing I wanted to deal with was having to fix my car. Denver Auto Body did an amazing job on my car, it looks better than it did before the accident! They were helpful, responsive the day of the accident, quick to engage by email (including an initial quote based on pictures I sent), and thoughtful in walking me through what I would need for the vehicle. A few months ago I brought my car in for an estimate on damage done by a hit and run driver. An older, heavy set guy came out, gave my car a cursory glance and said, '$3,000. Minimum.' I, of course, asked him if he was sure and he went on to explain all the reasons why it was going to cost so much. A pretense at caring about my questions would have been nice. He could have cared less. I wonder if he would have been so arrogant if I was a man? Anyway, I went to another shop and the work was completed for under $2000. read more

I cant say enough about the professionalism of Denver Auto body and Ramin Zardoshtian who is the manager. Auto body work is definitely not a science and like any service, will not always be perfect. Ramin, encourages his clients to thoroughly review the work and welcomes feedback, even if it results in work having to be completed a 2nd time. Denver Auto Body is focused on pleasing its customers first and profits secondly. I was in a pinch recently, where an interested buyer in my Porsche 911S Cabrio, wanted to see the car on Thursday and if interested, was going to pay cash and drive the car back to Omaha. I originally had some minor repairs scheduled for 9/24. I called Ramin and explained my predicament and asked if DAB could take my car on Tuesday 9/11 rather than 2 weeks later. His shop was full and every other reputable body shop was as well. I was in a tight spot where an interested buyer for $80k was going to be headed back to Omaha and most likely the opportunity to sell the car was going to pass. Ramin, found a way, made a way to get my car into his shop and they will also detail the car and have it ready by Friday. The buyer agreed and the opportunity didn't pass. DAB has repaired and detailed my car several times ( clear bra, wet sanding, spot painting etc). I wont take a car to another shop ever in Denver ever. They are not cheap, but I subscribe to the old adage " If you pay peanuts, you will get monkeys." I am not interested in cheap, I am interested in excellence and these guys deliver it consistently. This review is solely for Insurance Estimates and not the actual work that they do for I cannot speak to that. I went to Denver Auto Body for an Insurance estimate for some hail damage over two weeks ago on a Monday. The manager we spoke to was very professional and friendly and took only about 5 minutes to take the necessary pictures of my car and take my information. He told me he would be emailing me that night with his estimate. I never received that email. I waited until that Friday when I still hadn't heard from them to call. I spoke with the receptionist who told me she would make sure that my estimate was sent in and taken care of. Once again I waited and still nothing. The next week on Tuesday I called again and spoke to the same receptionist. She looked into my information once more and explained that the claim had been sent to my insurance but she couldn't give much more information other than that. I asked if she could please have the manager call me to let me know what the estimate ended up being and she assured me that she would. Still nothing. And nothing from my insurance saying it had been sent in. I finally called my insurance company yesterday and they called the shop and said that they had talked to the same receptionist as I had and that she said she was re-sending the estimate to them that day. STILL NOTHING! I was expecting this to take less than a week, instead it's taking weeks with constant nagging that I shouldn't have to do. I have decided to go somewhere else and start over because I can't keep waiting for them to get it together. Too bad to because I would have given them the business had they just sent in the information! read more

It's tough to find a good body shop, and I really had high hopes for this place. I took my car in for hail damage repair, and technically they did the job. Just a really frustrating few weeks. They told me it would take a week, or two at the absolute max. After two weeks I called for an update, and the woman who answered the phone acted surprised that I was inquiring on the status of my car. She told me she couldn't even give an estimate of when it would be done. A little over three weeks, after calling numerous times, the car was finished. There was some preexisting damage on the hood and I made it very clear I wanted that fixed as well, and would gladly pay out of pocket (as the hail damage was an insurance job). The man who made my appointment said he would "almost definitely" just replace the entire hood as part of the process, but at least would fix the damage. When I picked it up, neither was done. I'm sure they'd be happy to take my money if I brought it in again for the hood, but I don't really want to be without a car for another three weeks. After picking the vehicle up, I saw that the interior roof was missing a bracket and hanging low, and the headliner fabric was beginning to unravel (not the case when I brought it in). I went back to the shop for them to fix this, but it immediately became unattached again and I noticed the headliner was worse. It looks really bad and now I'm trying to figure out how to fix it myself. read more

This was the worst experience at an auto shop I have ever had. We wanted an exterior paint job and body work done (rust repair) on a 1971 Super Beetle. The facts- plain and simple. Original quote: $3,936.99 and 5 months Actual time and full paid amount: $6,552.56 and 19.5 months We did ALL the sanding work, down to bare metal and got the quote from the shop with them able to inspect it in that condition so there were no hidden holes, rust, et cetera. The bad service: -My taillights are still white, on my original fenders, not on the new ones, and I was told they would be on the car prior to picking it up. -We removed all the lights, fenders, and trim pieces. -No one communicated with me at all through the entire process, I had to call and check and was lucky if someone even got back to me (usually around 2 weeks to call me back when the receptionist would say she would have the manager call me the next morning at the latest) -The windshield was broken upon removal within the first 4 months, and no replacement was purchased or made known to us until pickup of the VW. -The car was not taken care of while there, I went by once and it had been sitting on a flat (brand new tires/ valves) and leaking gas. -Upon pickup I requested to see the front trunk latch work (never latched before) and the office manager said it had been previously fit and we didn't need to see it. I requested again that we did in fact need to see it work. The office manager had one of the techs come over and begin fitting the latch. As we were inspecting the car, we saw the tech go and get a drill to bore into the metal to make the holes bigger. To me this means it was not previously fit. I was very upset upon this lie and the office manager denied taking a drill to the car at all in front of my mother, my fiancé, and me. He got so irate he threatened to call the cops on us and escort us off the property to the lobby. -I requested that we go over the bill, item by item and have it explained. (There were many shorthanded words that made it difficult to understand what was done on what part). The office manager said we could stand right there, in the garage, and go over the bill right there. I said no, I want to go over to the office and have you go through it with me, I have some questions and need some things clarified. He refused several times then finally went to the office with us. -He tried to charge us for bumper installation/ refurbish. My car did not have bumpers when I brought it down and will not have bumpers. -We loaded up the car, the carpets had been cut out, cut up, thrown in the back of the car, and are completely unusable now. As we were loading it up, the nice tech was bringing us parts he found in the shop. We are still finding parts that are missing. -The interior is brown, cream (original) and some spots have a black sealant sprayed on it. Example: drivers door jam is brown, the other is cream. (it looks like a calico cat on the inside now). For a professional shop, and a very small car, this is terrible service. We are displeased because of the lack of care shown to my car, respect shown to me, the time it took, how much more it was without first consulting me, the joke of a "finished product", and the lack of organization. I wish I had read the Yelp! reviews and would have been better off going to Macco. read more

Brought my car after some front end damage. Got a straight forward estimate and informed that additional underlying mechanical damage might be found. Turns out air filter was cracked as well as the radiator mount. When I picked up my car the paint match was excellent and body work impeccable. The staff has always been kind, courteous and very helpful. They are honest, upfront and will not charge you for unnecessary work. Low quality of work and VERY expensive. they charged the insurance company $8,000 for a job that should have cost 1/3 that amount. They didn't order parts until I dropped off my vehicle, which is extremely inefficient. The entire repair took over a month, which is ridiculous... regardless of the amount of work they have. When I FINALLY picked up my car, it was not washed, had tons of dust inside and out, had glue from tape on the windows and doors. The pait had orange peel and the body work had sand marks... Ray and his team AWESOME he felt my pain when I damage my front bumper 3hrs after purchasing a 2019 Durango. After the work was done he called a stressed his feeling about the work done it wasn't quite like new and said if I wanted to take it's done but wasn't like new due to trying to save some of the parts because of cost (out of pocket) he gave me a sweet deal to replace the entire number with no additional cost he's Awesome. I have been a business owner and manager multiple times with huge success for one reason. . Customer relationships! $5.00- to $5,000,000,000, without customers there is no need for rude or arrogant leadership. My bill was $13,310. I was treated like dirt, like he was annoyed by being busy. If it weren't for the REAL customer service representative, Nikki, and one AMAZING GENTLEMAN by the name of Ramine, I can't say I'd ever go back. With Jeremy leading this business, I strongly recommend avoiding dealing with HIM. Also, they do not deal with credit cards or cash. That was a quote from this so called manager. First, the two women at the desk in the front are great! Very nice, personable, helpful. I dropped off my car at Denver Auto Body with some touch up paint on the door. The reason I was there was not about the door. When I picked up my car the paint was buffed or cleaned off, and they won't do anything. Now I have to get my door painted! They said to go back to where I bought the car and have them fix it. That's ridiculous- I dropped my car off with no problem on the door, now I've got a 50 cent sized place where there is no paint on the door- it happened while under their care, and they won't fix it. read more
