They were pretty helpful and got me booked right away. When I arrived and did the check-in, the mechanics, Dave and Maj, looked at my tires and addressed the leaking tire. They also drove it around the block afterwards to test the integrity of the tire pressure. They were quick about addressing the issue, and didn't actually charge me for it since it was an easy and quick fix, which was much appreciated. If i had to buy tires to replace unfixable tires, the prices were actually quite reasonable, and even lower than where I'd normally buy it (i.e. Costco). The people there were very kind and knew what they were doing with tire fixes, and I definitely look forward to coming back in the future.

This place is a disgrace to the automotive industry, and the owner, Luigi, should not be in business. I brought my son's car in for inspection stickers -- something simple. Luigi kept the car for TWO WEEKS and never did any work. No inspection. No repairs. Not even a phone call. Just silence, excuses, and complete disregard for our time. During that time, my son and I had to share my car -- all while he was preparing for his high school graduation. He had graduation rehearsals, a job to get to, and so did I. This caused real stress and hardship, but Luigi didn't care. He held the car hostage without explanation. When we called for updates, he was rude and nasty every single time. After two weeks of no progress, we went to the shop in person to get answers. What happened next was appalling. As soon as I entered the building -- calmly and respectfully -- Luigi came storming through the door, screaming at me in front of my teenage son. I hadn't even said a word. He yelled, "I'll call you when it's ready!" then shouted, "Take your paperwork and your car and GET OUT!" He was angry, aggressive, and hostile, acting as though I had no right to even be there. To make things worse, his wife was just as rude, cold, and completely unprofessional. Let me be clear: I am an African-American woman, and based on how I was treated -- with open hostility, no provocation, and no professionalism -- I strongly believe this was racially motivated. Luigi spoke to me with a level of disrespect and aggression that made me feel targeted, humiliated, and unsafe. My son watched it all unfold, and it was heartbreaking. Luigi originally quoted $250 for inspection stickers -- yet no service was performed. Just two weeks of delays, verbal abuse, and a total lack of accountability. Even though I feared for my life in that moment, one thing is certain: this will be the last time Luigi ever screams at a Black woman like that without being held accountable. He may have thought he could get away with it -- but not this time. If you are a woman, a person of color, or simply someone who expects to be treated with dignity and respect, then this is not the place for you. I will never go back. I will never recommend this business. And I will make sure everyone I know stays far away from Five Points Gulf Service Center in Blue Bell, PA. Alderfer's installed a large mirror in my bathroom. After a couple of years, I started to notice…read morethat the mirror was silvering badly at the bottom edges. When I called Alderfer's about this, they said that it is caused by using Windex that contains ammonia, and that I should change to ammonia-free Windex. What?!? They never gave that warning when they installed the mirror, and it sounds ridiculous to blame it on a cleaning product! They also installed a new pane of glass in the sidelight window next to my front door, and when they removed and reinstalled the wood frame, they left a mess on the exterior -- bulging nails, chipped paint, etc. Not good.
