I brought my vehicle here to have work done through another drivers insurance for a no fault accident. I asked Jack about having work done on a scrape on my front bumper that was not related to the accident. I asked him about prices about for a part for the front bumper, and if it was possible for me to bring in the OEM part from the dealership on my own. As soon as I said that, he replied "Do you bring your own cheeseburger to McDonald's?". Instead of calmly answering my questions, he stated yelling at me and was extremely rude and profane. It seems like as soon as you raise any concerns with this shop, they get hostile and start yelling at you. This is absolutely no way to treat customers, no matter the price or the quality of the work. Don't know if I would recommend this shop in the future because god forbid they don't like something you say and they start yelling at you too. UPDATE 6/29: Just received a call saying to pick up my car. The associate on the phone said "We don't do jobs for customers who leave scathing google reviews". This is the most unprofessional, and discriminatory shop I've ever dealt with. DO NOT GO HERE, you will be slave to their questionable business practices and when you begin to ask questions, they verbally harass you and then refuse to work on your car. Instead of listening and caring for their customers, they bully them around and expect a thank you in return. UPDATE #2 6/29: Another bodyshop called Classic to let them know they would be transferring the vehicle tomorrow. The associate on the phone immediately started yelling at the lady from the other bodyshop and told her "I'm gonna leave his car parked in the street with his windows down and the keys in the ignition!". I'm shocked at this point that Classic is frankly still in business and that customers tolerate this kind of treatment from a business owner. Definitely looping in BBB, and also Audi of America to let them know what kind of business they are partnering with. read more

Unfortunately this is the third time (different occasions) that I had my car into Classic in Wayne and each time the professionalism and care of detail is very impressive. Quoted $5,700 for partial paint job and grill replacement. Actual cost $6,200. Explanation was extra parts, blah, blah, blah. Thought that was why they were the experts. Estimated delivery December 19th, actual December 28th. For work that isn't covered by insurance, suggest you find a shop that honors their estimates or at least comes close. read more

I was unfortunately rear ended in the same parking lot as my last incident and Classic Coachwork impressed me once again! They replaced my rear bumper and even polished my tail pipes. I was disappointed to need repairs due to a fellow drivers' negligence once again, but CC made it painless and easy. Repairs only took 5 days and I easily arranged for contactless pickup. Overall I wouldn't say it's a high-end body shop at all. From the painter to the manager, I don't think they have an eye for details. My brand new BMW got rear ended by a distracted driver and I chose this shop because of the great reviews. They tried to fix & repaint the old bumper, but when I picked up the car I thought something was off. The bumper was twisted and didn't look right. The manager told me only 1% of customers would have noticed that. I'm taking this as a compliment? Got them to redo the work with a new bumper (they charged insurance, it should have been free in my opinion), this time the clear coat has dimples. They buffed them out and after inspection, I took the car home. Next day I noticed that the bumper paint color isn't a perfect match with the rest of the body. I stopped by at Karosserie in Wayne, same owner I think, but they deal with exotics, so in theory the work should be better? The guy there agreed that the paint color was off. I was pretty tired of it at that point, so I decided to leave it at that. EDIT: Not a fraudulent review unlike what the owner claims below, but the ship has long sailed on making this right. Gave them several tries as stated in my review and in the end I got tired. I'm not writing reviews to get the owner's attention but to help my fellow consumers. This shop is certified in the best of the best. In my case, they are certified in VW. I took my car here to fix up a bumper. I was extremely pleased with the results. They do not spot fix around the scratches, they take care of the entire bumper so it looks flawless. I was in an auto accident where I was rear-ended. I called my Audi of Devon to see what shop they recommended I get my 2018 A5 repaired at. Classic Coachwork was HIGHLY recommended. So going through my insurance company, I dropped my car off at Classic Oct. 9. Allstate gave a pretty low estimate (5 days of repair and $1,300 worth of damage). Further looking at my car, Classic explained that the whole quarter panel of my car had to be removed and completely replaced. A very complex job with the new 2018 models. Steve mentioned, "5 days, more like 5 weeks..." Which was partly true in the end (fortunately for me). After the final supplement, the car was ready to be repaired Oct. 17. This was a huge repair job; I knew when I handed over my car to Classic it was in the best hands possible. Debbie, Chris and Steve were prompt in getting back to my emails/calls with questions I had. I received my car Nov. 8. If you care about your car as much as I do, I recommend taking it to Classic Coachwork of the Main Line (Wayne). The staff has a friendly, comedic attitude which made this process a heck of a lot easier. read more

Classic Coachwork is the most professional,detailed and courteous auto body shop in the Philadelphia area. Unfortunately we have been in situations the last few years which required body work. We were grateful to have a "go to Location" for the tow truck driver. Classic Coachwork met with our insurance company and did not hesitate to call them back if/when extra damage was discovered.They take great pride in there work. Stephen Garraty handled my wife's car accident claim. He was very professional and friendly. My wife's accident resulted in her VW Tiguan being badly damaged. We live about 45 minutes away from Classic Coachwork Main Line and were willing to drive to their shop because of the amazing reviews we read online and they are also a VW certified auto body shop. The car was fully repaired in about 2 weeks which was about a week earlier than Mr. Garraty expected for the repairs to be done. This helped save us money on needing a rental vehicle for another week. Mr. Garraty provided us with many updates on the repair process throughout our entire experience. We were told that the vehicle would look like it was brand new again when they were done and I can honestly say that was the case. We are very pleased with the repair work that they performed. You can't even tell that the vehicle was in an accident. It is immaculate. The car was returned polished and detailed beautifully.
