OMG, who wants to use a body shop! On the other hand, sometimes life sucks and you need folks like this. Many years ago, around 2005, I was in a major accident and my insurance company recommended these folks. They did a fabulous job and the lovely wife and I always remembered that. Flash forward to late December last year when we were rear-ended by an Upper Darby cab driver. Major damage! The highest compliment you can give a business is to continue using them. It was a no brainer to bring our car here. The customer service we received from Bob and Kim was excellent. Super friendly folks. My car was returned back to me in pristine condition. Actually it was even better than that. I had a major scuff mark on a front fender from "touching" a curb months before. Bob offered to fix that for FREE. Now that is outstanding service! It would be wonderful if I never have a need for a body shop again. However, if and when it happens, I know where I'm bringing my car! read more

Our company has used Spina and Adams over the last 5 years. Our company has a large fleet and we got to know Spina and Adams extremely well - more accidents than I would like to recall, but I must say that no matter the situation Spina and Adams was right there to make everything go smoothly. Kim and Bob took the stress out of it - from dealing with the repairs, the rentals, the insurance company....they did it all. They did such a great job that even when our employees had accidents in their personal vehicles they would go to them. By far the friendliest Auto shop I've ever been to. Their receptionist went out of her way to accommodate our schedules. I got a ride back home when I dropped the car off (which they really didn't have to do). The car looked fantastic and was cleaned immaculately both inside and out when we got it back. My corolla got smashed by a land rover on the front bumper. Conveniently it was on the corner which meant more parts needed replacing. Spina had a fair quote, finished my car on time, and did it with perfect detail. You would never know it ever got hit. Also the front light went out a few weeks after repair (whether their fault or the result of cars grazing mine on the streets of west philly- I don't know) but they saw me when I can in unannounced and fixed it for free regardless read more

This is the place (if you're lucky enough - read *sarcasm*) your car gets towed if it's been rendered inoperative - by way of accident or driver inability (DUI maybe?) - in Upper Darby. My car was involved in an accident (not my fault) and eventually deemed "totaled". Fortunately for me, I have a friend who knows the ins and outs of getting your car released following such towing jobs. He advised me ahead of time that I would need to present a receipt from the police department indicating my car could be released. Strange how when I called Spina & Adams nobody told me about the necessary receipt. When I arrived late in the afternoon (after the police department's records division was closed) to have my car released to another tow company to be transported to a different collision service center, I was suddenly told that they wouldn't release my vehicle without the required document from Upper Darby Police. Imagine their surprise when I pulled it out of my pocket. Since they hadn't told me I would need it, they sure as heck weren't expecting me to actually have it. They thought they'd be getting another day of storage fees from my insurance company. They then took their sweet old time getting my car out of their storage area - making the tow truck driver wait for a half hour. It actually gave me plenty of time to take pictures of the truck that hit me. Yes, that truck had been towed there as well. I've talked to other people who have had the same thing happen to them. They call to arrange having their car released and are never told they need the authorization form from the police department until they get there. They get there and end up not being able to get their car out until the next day. Not really a good way to run a business. As my mother always said, omission is just as much a lie as not telling the truth. read more

THE WORST!! Bad customer service and poor auto body work!! Rude owner ONLY concerned about his payment. Promised repair in 1 week. Actual repair took 4 WEEKS! Never once apologized for delay. Spina and Adams has been repairing my cars(some twice) for the past twenty to twenty five years, and I consider Bob Adams and his entire Staff Family! Their repairs have been Perfect, looking brand new, with no details left out. They even wash my cars before returning them to me. Spina and Adams have done jobs over two thousand dollars and under a thousand, and each repair has been exemplary. Occasionally it has taken an extra day than originally promised, but it was beyond their control. I highly recommend Spina and Adams for all your repair needs! DO NOT GET THE WONDERFUL SPINA & ADAMS MIXED UP WITH MARSHALL ROAD AUTO REPAIR AND TOWING WHICH IS A TERRIBLE BUSINESS RIGHT NEXT TO SPINA AND ADAMS AT 6754 MARSHALL ROAD!!!!
