When I asked if they'd be able to skip some of the recommended repairs due to budgetary constraints, he refused, saying they would get a bad reputation if they let a car leave without doing every possible repair, and they would refuse to service my car rather than work around my budget. That is predatory upcharging in a nutshell. I definitely would not trust them to responsibly and fairly assess and repair my vehicle without overcharging me for unnecessary work.

The whole crew made the process feel smooth and well organized, which really took a lot of stress off me. I want to give a special shout-out to Ian, the Customer Service Manager. They also noticed an issue with my tire and brought it to my attention, making sure I understood the safety concern. They even helped me find a discounted replacement tire to bring the cost down. Dom continuously checked in with me and provided me updates throughout the process. When my car was complete, it looked brand new just like it was pre-accident. The only reason they are not getting 5 stars is because it took 30 days to get the car back. Dom had communicated with me and notified me of all the parts shipment delays, which seemed to be out of their control and from the Toyota factory - but the inconvenience and length of time is what docks the star. Most rental companies/insurance give you a maximum of 30 days of rental, so it was pushing it pretty close. I would not hesitate to return to this business should I ever need it, but fingers crossed I don't for a long time!

This created another issue, which they stated they could fix for around $1500 with no guarantee that it would fix my problem. I obviously passed given they created the issue. The Toyota mechanic I went to afterwards said what they did made no sense and they shouldn't have cut the wire without asking me. He was baffled they did this and now it's creating more hassle than the original issue. To make matters worse, when I called Morano Brothers to get more information about what they cut, Bob was extremely rude, stating that he had already explained the issue to me several times. Sorry, I'm not a mechanic. And when the Toyota guy is saying what you did made no sense, I'm probably going to have a hard time comprehending it as well. Long story short - AVOID these guys. They cut wires without asking you, try to screw you by charging you more for issues they created, and are extremely rude when you ask for reasonable explanations.
