great work at a great price and very friendly and knowledgeable. Awesome place to do business for years

I can't say enough about this business. They are the best!!! They were referred to me via a conversation with a person who lives in my complex. Being new to the area, I took a chance and contacted them. I am so glad that I did. They did an "outstanding" job on my car!! I can't stop looking at it. Their customer service was impeccable. And...I was more than satisfied with what they charged me for all of the work that they provided. I am spreading the word about this wonderful business. read more

I came in for collision work the day of a car accident, and Guldner's provided both very timely responses plus initial estimates. Hank and Don were incredibly helpful and made the process feel stress-free, with great visibility on progress and estimated completion throughout the work. Both quality and value seem to be focuses, and Guldner's delivers on both fronts. I would highly recommend Guldner's to anyone in need of auto body services! The team and results at this business far exceeded my expectations. read more

Was involved in an accident last year and needed a good body shop, Guldner's came highly recommended by my neighbor and they definitely lived up to my neighbor's glowing review. They were very efficient and good at communicating. Honest with their quotes. They were also very helpful in terms of working with me on my deductibles. Fast forward to a year later... There were some light scratches on my car that needed to be taken care of before I return my lease.. they were able to take a look at the car the next day... and not only were they able to fix it, they ended up not charging me. Words cannot express how much I appreciated that as I am in the process of moving and was tight on money. In my past experience, it can be hard to find a trustworthy and genuine collision shop. If you are in the Philly area, I would highly recommend Gulner's without reservation! read more

No rave could cover how great they are! I've been here more times than I'd like to claim, and every time the service, kindness, and attention to detail have been out of this world. Navigating insurance can be such a nightmare, but Donnie navigates it so skillfully, no headaches for you. Everyone who works here is so nice and thoughtful and honest; you always know you're in great hands. read more

Guldner repaired our car after a collision. They did a great job, and charged less than the amount we were receiving in insurance reimbursement. All with a smile. Nice people, good prices and superb repairs! read more

I concur with some of the other comments. The owner is a gentleman who is honest in his assessments and fair in his pricing.

The owner is a genuine nice guy. He did me a favor and reattached one of my side reflector for free . Instead of making me do a costly repair, he took a few minutes out of his day to do this and I'm so happy I listened to the other reviews and came here! read more

Someone backed into my car in a parking lot & left, no note, nothing!! Brought my car to Guldners Collision & was told what needed to happen, what they could do for my vehicle & how to go about going thru my insurance company!! Don Guldner is THE MAN, he kept in touch with me & called when it was time to bring my car in, they had it for a day or two & it was done, The car looked fantastic!! I'd recommend this body shop to anyone needing work done!!! read more

Look no further, you have found the right place to go. The owner is as nice as can be. He will fit you in day of. His prices are reasonable. Highly recommend this shop. read more

Words cannot express how thankful I am for these guys!! I am a young west coast native, relatively newish to Philly and don't know much of the surrounding area. I got into an accident and had to find a shop on my own (insurance didn't have a designated spot) and found these guys through word of mouth, honestly it was sheer luck. It's always nerve wracking bringing your car to a shop for maintenance/repairs as a woman (especially not having your dad out here to assist, there's a stereotype for a reason lol). I worked with the son throughout the entire process. He was extremely kind, patient, and truly went out of his way to help me. From the second I dropped my car off for an evaluation, to dealing with the insurance payment system and pickup at the very end. This is a place I'd be more than comfortable trusting my daughter/girlfriends to visit for repairs. The car looks wonderful, you'd never know I crashed. Will be returning to get my tire rims done at some point. Thank you guys SO extremely much. read more

I hope I don't need more body work on my car, but if I do, I will 100% come back here. And I will recommend Guldner's to everyone else who needs collision work as well. I was looking for a place to get my bumper repaired, and saw that Guldner's had amazing reviews across all platforms. While passing through Roxborough last week, I decided to stop by just to see if they had time to take a quick look and give me an estimate. I hadn't called ahead, so I would have completely understood if they didn't have time. But I was met by Don, who kindly agreed to do a quick survey since I was already there. He was great to work with throughout this whole experience! He not only looked at my bumper, but fit me in for an appointment that week and wrote down an estimate for me so I could bring it back when it came time to pay. Don said they would try to pop the bumper back on and get it to stay for good (since I had popped it back in quite a few times only to have it pop out again) before doing major work like replacing the bumper altogether. On the day of my appointment, I dropped the car off around 7:30 and Guldner's had it back to me the same day. My car looks so much better - they did great work! They were able to fix the bumper by installing new clips. They didn't try to upsell me or add more work to my bill. When I came to pick it up, I was charged exactly what they had estimated and not a cent more. I thought the price overall was a bargain! One more thing I have to mention is how professional and respectful the staff is. They also care about the community and gave me recommendations for nearby mechanics to support local business. Thanks again Don and everyone at Guldner's! read more

I discovered that I had a broken turn signal lens on my passenger side mirror. Guldner's told me to stop by that morning, assessed the damage, ordered the parts and did the work two days later. Great place to do business with. Highly recommended!!! read more

Some years ago, my middle son was involved in an accident in my car, and Don could not have been kinder or more professional. He did a beautiful job on my Camry and even fixed minor damage from a previous accident without charging extra. I trust Guldner's implicitly and recommend them without reservation. If I needed body work done, I would drive across the city to have them do it. My youngest was just involved in a hit-and-run accident, and I just recommended that he take his car to Guldner's. I hope that the police catch the guy who hit him. At least I know that Guldner's will take good care of him. read more

This review is long overdue. I found Don, in part, due to his exceptional Yelp reviews. I have some dents on my 2011 A5 cabriolet that I was told would be $5,000+ to fix. I decided that I didn't need a complete fix, but I wanted to see if there was anything Don could do, as one of the dents had crumpled the wheel well of one of my back tires. Don said that - yes - a full fix was every bit of $5,000...and he even said that if I wanted it done, he wasn't the guy to do it. He suggested that I should take it to a shop that had experience with Audi convertibles. However, he did say that, if I wanted, I could leave the car with him and he would see what he could do about the wheel well. When I picked the car up, he had fully rebuilt the wheel well - clearing the sheet metal from the tire and making it LOADS safer. While the dent was still there, it was nowhere near as noticeable. He also did some touch up paint work on another area of the car that needed attention. The cost? $125. Amazing. An honest guy who is resourceful and does great work. No wonder he is so busy. He is worth the wait - especially if you need a little MacGyver. read more

You could check my track record for writing reviews. I don't do it often. I HAD to write a review of my experience at Guldner's. These guys are top notch. Super knowledgable, no BS'ing, does phenomenal work and his prices were more than fair in my opinion. I worked with Don and he gave me a price right up front, and that was the price through and through. I'm always leery about body shops and I was almost expecting a "well, we had to do this and that so it's really going to cost 'X'", but nope. The original price was the price Super friendly people as well. I mentioned how I hope to never see him again haha, as I don't really plan on getting into any more accidents, but damn if I do, i'm 1000% bringing any work to these guys, and i'll ensure all of my neighbors know about it too! Thank you gents - keep up the great work! read more

Honestly some of the best service I've ever received in the car world. Don and his folks were so friendly and easy to talk with. Their estimate was in line with others I had received, and the work was done efficiently. Great communication, easily walked me through the next steps. I hope I never get in another accident, but if I do you can bet this is where I'm taking my car. read more

If I could give this Autobody show 10 stars I would. I hit a pot hole the size of a meteorite due to the recent cold spell. I banged up the left driver's side bumper to the point it came of the bracket along with the fog light. I went to these gentlemen one afternoon to get an estimate. They quoted a very reasonable price. I brought it back the next day at the recommended time and the owner repaired it. I even tired to give him more $$$ then originally quoted, but he refused to take it. Great service, it is obvious they are not in it for the money. They just are honest decent people who love their job. read more

Great service, quickly able to fit me in for a small job, would recommend!! I got in a minor accident that tore off my bumper on the left side, and they were able to put it back on without breaking the bank. read more

Don is so kind and genuine. As bad as I felt bringing my car after an accident, I left with a smile on my face. He is so thoughtful, funny and knows what to say to cheer you up. Don was great explaining the issues I had and what exactly needed to be fixed. Within 2 hours my car was ready to be picked up and the cost was below I would of ever imagined. Hands down best service I have ever received for my car. I recommend this place to anyone/everyone. read more

Don and his staff are awesome - after a hit and run accident he made the experience easier and less painful. They are honest and very reliable and do an amazing job!!!!!!!!!! read more

I just had the most marvelous experience one could possibly imagine-- at Guldner's Collision Service. I had ripped my Front bumper while driving in the Catskills. I initially feared that a replacement would be quite expensive based on previous experience. Hank and Don couldn't have been more courteous, friendly or helpful even if they had tried. Within less than 1/2 hour my bumper was reattached, touched up and ready to go. When it comes to Guldner's body shop I can't praise their skill and honest, personalized service too highly. read more

I have had to use this auto body center more than I would have hoped over the years, but I will never go anywhere else. They are honest and full of integrity, pay attention to detail, do amazing work, and are super nice people. I send everyone I know there because I know they will be thrilled with the way they are treated and the work is always top notch! read more

Did a pretty decent job on my Civic. Great service, adequate prices, timely completion. Recommended.

Guldner's is the best ever. I feel like I always know someone who needs body work on their car, and I always recommend Don. His prices are very reasonable, he does incredible work, and he could be possibly be the nicest person I've ever met. One time, I was in the neighborhood and got a flat tire. I pulled into the gas station next door and called Triple A. In the meantime, I walked over to see Don. He came out, changed the tire for me, and had me bring the car up to the garage to fill the donut up with more air so that I wouldn't have to wait. Another time, he fixed a huge dent in my wife's car and wouldn't charge us anything for it. So if you're looking for an extremely reputable body shop that does masterful work, this is your place. read more

Don Guldner and his crew are top-notch! Professional, fair, and awesome customer service. You never feel like you are just a number at Guldner's. Don will answer any questions you may have, and not rush you out the door. They did outstanding work on my car. You will not regret doing business with this establishment! read more

This place is dreamy. I don't trust my beloved 'Pepper' to just anyone and these wonderful gentlemen took amazing care of both her and me. I can not recommend them enough. Don and his team are top notch and I will 100% use them from this day on (though I hope I don't see them for a while)- read more

This auto repair shop is a hidden gem in Roxborough. They are friendly and efficient. My car was perfect.

This shop came highly recommended on our neighborhood Facebook page, and they certainly lived up to their reputation! My car had a fair amount of damage from a collision with a deer (the deer was okay -- my car, not so much). Guldner's did an amazing job, under budget, and ahead of schedule. In fact they worked on it over the weekend before Christmas so that I could have it back for the holidays. And it certainly doesn't hurt that they're really nice guys too. Just goes to show that not all heroes wear capes! read more

Fantastic service, honest, experts. Do yourself a favor and go to Guldner's. My car was rear ended. The bumper was destroyed, the trunk had to be replaced. Guldner's made it look brand new. They matched the paint color perfectly. Super nice people. So grateful. read more

This shop is absolutely amazing. They repaired my truck and also painted the trim on the opposite side of the repair to match. Also got me a hub cap cover which had been stolen. When I picked it up, they had cleaned out the interior! And believe me it needed it (single, new to the city). Lol. Anyway. Great guys and the best service. Highly recommended. read more

I looked up for auto repair in Philadelphia and picked the best places according to their reviews. I decided to go and visit Guldner's Collision and as soon I got there this awesome mechanic gave me an estimate along with some advises. He was busy and recommended me to go to other place if though it convenient to me, but I decided to wait because I had a hunch that this guy was fair, honest, and confident of his job!!! So, he helped me through every thing with my rentar car and the whole process. My car was done and ready to hit the road before the estimated time. For any body looking for this kind of service, I highly recommend this place. Believe me, I even got rewards at this place!! Thanks a lot!!! read more

By far the best service I've ever had. I wouldn't go anywhere else for repairs. Don is the most kind and genuine guy. He came in under the estimated price and was done the work early. I told him I was turning the car back into the dealer (it's a lease) so he cleaned up any other minor spots as best he could. I would recommend this place 1000 times over. Hopefully I don't have to make too many trips here, but it's nice to know if I ever need auto body work done, I don't have to think twice about where to go! read more

My car was damaged while parked in a supermarket parking lot. I had just bought the car no more than 6 weeks before it was damaged so this accident caused me even more stress than it would normally. A family member said to call Guldner's and that they would take care of it. What a great referral! Don gave me an estimate and set up a time to do the repair work. He said it would take just three days. At the end of three days he called and said it was done, right on schedule at the originally quoted price. The car looks great - even better than before it was hit. Don's price was very fair and the kindness he and his staff exhibited was greatly appreciated. I would not hesitate to highly recommend Guldner's Collision Services. read more

I couldn't speak any more highly of Don and his team. They were incredible to work with and had my car looking brand new in a short period of time. I felt like family. I'll never go anywhere else! read more

Today was my first time there. I had a minor accident a few years ago when my side mirror was knocked off. It was a clean break and didn't warrant replacing it and buying a whole new package. A local place near where I used to live glued it on which solved the problem for a while. When going to my car this morning, the mirror was hanging by the wires. There were a handful of other body shops right there. I looked at all of their reviews online and this one by far had the best and most reviews, which I now see why. They were nothing but incredibly friendly from the time I opened the office door, got right on to fixing my car the next minute.. literally.. and i was on my way 10 minutes later. I asked how much it would cost thinking maybe $50-$100 or something as I know even simple and quick things in body shops can be costly. They told me not worry about it.. No charge. They are good/down to earth people and it was a great experience all around. read more

Amazing place!!! They do fantastic work and the customer service is top notch. They are very fair, transparent and honest about pricing and what they'll need to do to get your car back in shape. They give reasonable timelines for the work to be done. The final product looks so good. It's a little hard to find but totally worth seeking out. I recommend them to all my friends. read more
