    My name is Joseph and I have had a mixed experience with Team Toyota. I had purchased a very slightly used 2019 Toyota Sienna from your dealership. The minivan itself is amazing and the purchase couldn't have been better. However, the low review is for the mismanagement of an issue I had been promised that would be repaired if I purchased the Sienna. The Sienna was purchased in full, and in CASH in mid December, from Devon after a few weeks of emails and my finances getting in order. Devon had shown the Sienna flawlessly, and we agreed that before I purchase the Sienna, Devon would have the body servicemen repair some deep scratches that were in the clear coat down to the paint. Devon had taken notes and pictures before we purchased the Sienna about two weeks later. We had purchased a new car warranty, another warranty covering all the major systems like the electronics, and the premium paint protection package. We even ordered the ceramic paint package on top of everything else, as we wanted this van to be kept in showroom condition. Devon assured us that if we had ANY trouble with the paint, he would take care of it. Three months go by, and the hood and door pillar scratches had returned. It turns out that Team Toyota put the ceramic coating on over the scratches and then used a wax to buff everything smooth. When the wax wore off, the scratches were filled but not sanded smooth, leaving the scratches sealed, but deep enough where you can feel them with your finger. Strike One (X) We have made appointments time and time again with Devon and then different sales managers, and each of them promising to get the paint done right, but Toyota Corporate denied the claim, saying it was something that is not covered and we purchased the Sienna used. Strike 2 (XX) Devon had ended up lying to his sales manager about our deal, and his involvement with the deal we had, including the paint protection packages. He even swore he couldn't remember us, and how much we had dealt with him previously. One manager called back and assured us he would take care of the problem and costs out of his pocket, but guess what, no return phone calls. This was almost a month ago. Strike Three (XXX). Now I am having SERIOUS reservations about the promises Team Toyota made to me, and left wondering if the 3 separate warranties are even worth the paper they were printed on. Maybe I should drive to another dealership, like Del, or one in Lancaster?

    Summary2

    Went in for an inspection 10-29-22 and was left with wet carpet! Never had such a bad service visit before. It started with a high quote for the inspection, since my appointment last year was one day short of one year ago. Nobody mentioned that when I made the appointment though. Was told I had a light bulb out and signed off on replacing it. 90 minutes later, they told me my car was ready. The valet got out and I noticed the floor mat on the driver's side was soaking wet. Weather was totally dry - and so was my car when I brought it in. The valet couldn't explain it. The service advisor said he would talk to the manager to figure out what happened. I just wanted the water removed from my car ASAP. Instead he asked me to wait another hour for somebody in detailing to clean it up. After 75 more minutes they told me the car was ready again, yet I picked up the mat and found water underneath - the carpet was soaked. Had to leave, but spent time at home with rags pressing on it an squeezing out as much as possible over the next few days. This led to a lot of time cleaning and stressing over something that never should have happened. After going there for every 5K or 10K mile maintenance service and inspection for nearly 20 years, this experience was the worst. Got a call from customer care rep who said they would look into what happened. A few days later she said the technician claims he told me about the water and that there was a leak problem in my car. That's two more lies. The only times the advisor spoke with me were at check-in, going over items in my printed Visit Summary, sending me to the cashier, and hearing my complaint about the water. The summary says NOTHING about water or a leak. It says they inspected the floor mats, though. There is a checkmark after that bit. My advice is to avoid this place. For anyone going to this place for service anyway, take detailed pix of your car inside and out - before and after they touch it.

I inquired…read moreinto this as I drive the vehicle everyday, after speaking to the mechanic and GM both, the mechanic agreed that it was not shuttering but whistling, which was a known attribute of CVTs, and has done since I've bought the car at 20k miles and now trading in at 130k. The mechanic agreed if the trans would fail it would most likely have done so long ago. The GM states they would not move higher on giving me 250% less than KBB.. GM states they won't make enough on the sale, citing risk vs reward despite no risk as the the car will be auctioned and parted off. They see the mileage and give you the lowest number possible, not honoring KBB or near it due to what they subjectively feel as, even stated by the mechanic, the transmission, at the point assessment was working properly and not shuttering. Also, after multiple requests for making sure the tire pressures were to spec, 20 mins after driving off with my new buy and after being assured twice the tires had proper inflation, were wildly off. On a side note, at least the Sales people were friendly, not pushy and patient. Avoid Glen Mills location

    I think this is a pretty nice car repair spot…read more I initially came to get my brake fluid flushed and my oil changed, but it was brought to my attention that my brake pads were worn out on the rear. Not only did they replace the brake pads, but they also resurfaced the rotors as well as inform me of other potential issues and warnings through the receipt they gave. I would say that the repair center was pretty expensive. I think it's very possible that I might have overpaid ($462 for both an oil change, brake pad replacements, as well as other complementary services), but I still appreciate being notified of my car issues, as I wasn't aware of these issues from the inspectors that I've gone to. This is a phenomenal spot if you have enough money for it, but just be a bit wary that they can get pretty expensive.

The lease was ending and we decided we wanted to buy the car out right. No financing just give Mazda the residual value of the car per leasing agreement. When I called to see what steps, we needed to take to make this happen I was advised that the car needed to be "inspected" first by their service department. The charge was $190. I explained the car did not need to be inspected until April and all service work on the car for the past three years was done by Piazza so, they had the records. Why did I need to pay $190 when I was giving them a check for the full residual value to purchase the car. Got numerous versions as to why...it was a Pennsylvania Law..not so. It was a Mazda rule. Yes, it was but, interestingly enough the other Mazda dealers I called did NOT charge. They did it as a courtesy for their customers....and even though I did not lease the car from them they were more than happy to do it for me. Needless to say, within 3 days I was at another Mazda dealer they did the inspection and told me car was in great condition. Paperwork was processed and I already have to title from the State of Pennsylvania, and I did not pay an extra $190!! I did speak to Nick Price (the Manager at Piazza) before I called the other dealerships, he was to call me back...still waiting for that call back. Like Share Add photos & videos

Bob (Weather's service manager) had a warranted refurbished transmission installed in 5 days for a very fair $2800. He also repaired other minor things like bulbs and coolant flushing for no charge. Being stuck so far from home makes you vulnerable and ripe to be screwed by mechanics. Instead, I have to figure out how to get my car to Weathers from Florida the next time I break down. Within a week of purchasing my Jeep i noticed steering issues and when i took it back i wash charged for repairs of existing issues that were there prior to purchase. On another visit, i brought my car in because it was cutting of on me and giving a false message of overheating. I was charged a diagnostic fee and told they could not find an issue and sure enough the next day my car died. It was the battery the whole time and they admitted they never checked my battery. They refused me a refund and Bill laughed at my frustation. After three visits, I was repeatedly given uncertain explanations with no clear answers. This dealership is a scam, they lack accountability, thorough diagnostics, and customer care. I strongly recommend you go anywhere else.
