I brought my car here to have one of the rear doors replaced after I skidded on ice and crashed into a tree, smashing the window and severely denting the door. The service was great! I brought the car in on Monday afternoon to get an estimate to replace the door--the owner, Kevin Ellmore, was able to inspect my car within a few minutes after I came into the office. He said he would make some calls to find out what doors were available and get back to me later that afternoon with two different estimates--one for replacing the door and one for replacing the door and repainting. In addition, he used some car wrap to cover the broken window at no extra charge!
Less than an hour later I received an email from Kevin with the two different estimates, including repair timelines. I was pleasantly surprised by how quickly I heard back from Ellmore. I then called the office to find out when I could bring the car in to have the door replaced (a cost of $460, with a scrap door), as he said the door could be replaced by the end of the week, and within a few hours I had set up an appointment to bring the car in on Thursday and have it repaired by sometime during the day on Friday. This morning I brought the car to the shop and paid half the money down, expecting to hear back from them tomorrow. However, about 5 hours later, I receive a voicemail informing me that the car is finished already and is available for pick up!
After picking up the car, I'm very satisfied with the door replacement and the service I received at Ellmore. You can barely even tell that the door has been replaced, as the color matches the rest of the car very closely. As someone who skipped the more expensive painting option, I'm thrilled with how closely it matches. The door has a few spots of imperfection in regards to the paint, but since it was from a scrapyard (and pretty cheap), I'm not complaining. The door functions perfectly--it opens and closes well, and has all the electrical functions that the original door had (automatic opening/closing of the window, automatic locking). I can't believe how quickly I was able to have the door fixed with Ellmore, in less than a week's time and a day before they thought it would be finished. In conclusion, Ellmore fixed my car very quickly and finished it earlier than expected; Kevin and the other employees I interacted with were also professional, courteous, and helpful. I would definitely take my car back to Ellmore for other auto body work! read more
