John Rambo is a fine mechanic, an honest, hard-working man, an entrepreneur and raconteur par excellence! Not only did he answer his own phone on a Sunday morning, he fixed our broken brake line in an hour, and got us back on the road for under $150. The world would be a much better place if there were more people like Mr. Rambo (yes, that's his name) out there! There's a rumor John may run for Mayor. My wife and I might have to move down here just so we can vote for him ;-)

I took my van to Nick's to have the radiator checked because the van was leaking coolant. They…read morequoted me $482.62 to repair it which I knew was a little high.They told me the part was a little over $100 plus the cost to refill the fluid. The labor was over $300 because they said it was a 3 hour job. I called other mechanics who all said it should take 2 hours or less and that their labor fee was $75 an hour. Nick's charges $95 an hour. I found a mechanic who is fixing it for $265. Almost $220 less than Nicks. We went to pick up our van from Nick's and they charged us $101.00 for looking at our van. $95 an hour for labor plus tax even though it only took them 10 minutes to actually do it. What a rip off! Do not give them your business unless you want to be cheated out of your money. Call almost any other mechanic and save yourself hundreds.

However, when the person who did his tires rotated the one from the front to the back, one tire was put on with just one lug nut. As my son was driving on the highway he felt the tire wobbling which could have popped off and caused my son and other people on the road life. This person who did his tires was very negligent and careless. They get zero stars from me and would never recommend to not even my worst enemy. Terrible service.
