It has been more than four years since Mossman Brothers finished our pool and landscaping construction. We are as happy today as we were the day they finished the work. Just this week, we had a question about the operation of one of our spa pumps. I sent a text message to the original construction superintendent and he got back with me immediately and helped us tremendously. Fours years post construction and Mossman Brothers still cares about our satisfaction. I highly recommend Mossman Brothers for your pool and landscaping needs. read more

At one time, one of the best pool builders, but now their quality and inability to finish the pool drops them down dramatically. Lots of promises, but can not deliver. They have a very hard time finding sub contractors, I waited two months for the excavator to show up You can find better pool builders at a lower price, that build pools on time read more

Mossman took over 2 years from start to finish to do my pool. They made several mistakes. They didn't build the pool per plan. I have had nothing but trouble with the pool, spa, and water feature they built-all three! Now, Mossman has "voided" my warranty because my pool service company fixed a float valve that Mossman changed 3 X and was still stuck open, running 24x7 and wasting water the whole time. My water bills were $800 a month as a result and we weren't even in the home to use water- so my pool service company fixed it on an emergency basis. They weasel out of warranty work- and you need a lot of warranty work with this company-at least that was my experience.Beware. In my opinion, I would never use or recommend them. read more

Though they say they have a warranty, when things really go bad not so much. Im an Arizona native and I have never seen this happen to a pool within the first few years. An employee told us it was due to the product being from china ( and we know what happens from thing from China)and it falls right off the pool. Many people in the valley have had this happen as we were told. This is a failure on Mossmans part. If the product is bad then they should stand by there commitment of ensuring customer service and customer satisfaction. All the pictures on there website are from very wealthy clients and im sure if this happened to them, Mossman would fix it. This is prejudice on there part. Even if they would just replace the product this would have been a 5 star review as to there customer service and standing by there clients. I gave it a 1 star because I had to. They did not deserve the 1 star. They didnt even call us back when they said they would. All they want to do is fight with us. This shotty work is a reflection of there Buisiness's ethics. There isn't any. This is a pretty big deal, and costly. As they used our pool as a model for new business, they in turn could have replaced our product and used some better adhesive at least. I am very disappointed. There are other choices out there, I should have chose differently. I hope you make the right decision read more

This is a follow-up to my previous review. They were awful when the pool was being built; they are equally bad in providing any kind of warranty work. My salt cell has failed twice in the past 3.5 years. The manufacturer installed a new one after 2-years. It has failed again and have said that is out of warranty. The manufacturer gave us a "comprehensive checklist" to go through to diagnose why they are failing. They believe that there was likely an installation error which is causing the failure. I notified Mossman and their response was "you are out of luck." These people are totally unreliable, dishonest and lazy. They spend lots of money on fancy advertising and then outsource everything to the low cost sub-contractors. PLEASE FIND ANOTHER POOL CONTRACTOR, DON'T MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE I DID. JEFF MOSSMAN IS TOTALLY UNRELIABLE AND SHOULD NOT BE IN BUSINESS. read more

Purchased a new home in Scottsdale. This is the pool company that the builder used. We almost didn't close escrow due to the pool not being finished. Close of escrow was supposed to be June 30. The builder had everything finished except for the pool. We had to close two weeks after our schedule close of escrow because of this delay. The lender thankfully got an exception due to the fact that I had the pool fenced before we closed escrow because I knew it wasn't going to be finished and for the safety of my 22 month old I had it fenced, and that's the only reason the bank gave an exception. I've been in the house two weeks now and several calls and emails have been sent. I've called no response and the builder has sent emails with me ccd and the company has not replied. Technically as of Friday the 30th they will be a month behind schedule. If it wasn't for the amazing lender I had we would have never closed. We had already sold and closed escrow on our previous home, which would have cost me a buyer if I didn't hold up my end of the sellers contract and closed escrow. All this information they disregarded and did not care. Again I am still waiting for my pool to be finished. This is not a company that would ever recommend to anybody. Although, I hate to sound so cliché but they don't even deserve one star. Not for the inconvenience of not having a pool, but for the inconvenience of displacing my family those two weeks when I had to close escrow on my previous home and had to live in an Airbnb for two weeks because we were going back-and-forth with the bank hoping that they would allow us to close with an unfinished pool. And to be clear, this was a new build and they had plenty of time to finish my pool. read more

I built a new pool in 2014. My experience is not much different than the other review. At the beginning they did everything to wow me. However, once the project started they did as little as possible. The had virtually no supervision at all. In fact one of their subcontractors threatened me when I told them that they were doing something wrong. Even after this experience they did the minimum. I made numerous phone calls to the owners. They NEVER returned a call. They sent their office manager to handle the project when I got to the point of potential legal action. I called 5-months after the job was complete because I am having an issue and she is no longer with the company. For all the money they spend on advertising and marketing; they do nothing in the way of customer service. They do not supervise their work, they do not respond to customers, they will mislead you at all phases of the job and I have no reason to believe that they will provide any warranty work as may be needed. Listen to what both reviews are saying and find another pool contractor. read more

Just a quick reply to the response to my last review.... When I said that the step fell off, I was not referring to delamination. Literally, a 50+ pound hunk of concrete (half of the second step in the Jacuzzi) was sitting in the bottom of the spa. Ideally, you would have thought that this should/could have been prevented by the rebar process but as previously mentioned, they employed the cheapest subcontractors possible and no one from Mossman Bros was around during construction to oversee them. As for contacting them after the problem surfaced... They were so rude and unprofessional by the end of the project that it was easier to just sell the home than to get them to come back out to the worksite and deny any responsibility. read more

Mossman just finished my project! Took a couple days longer than originally planned but it is no cookie cutter. The color changing lights and water features came out so beautiful. Even better than the 3D rendering we were impressed with when we made our decision! The whole staff was phenomenal, especially the gal who handled our coordinating. I've already referred a friend and a neighbor. read more

We had our entire pool/landscape designed and installed by Mossman. It was an integral part of the construction of our new home. We were thrilled with the design done by Chris Knight. It's hard to rate to the actual construction as I know little about the process of building a pool. But when it was all done it worked perfectly. The hydraulics are such that this infinity edge pool requires almost no maintenance. Our problem with Mossman was in the follow up warranty work. They did replace the dead ocotillos but it has been nearly impossible to get them to work on the pool problems. There are areas in the infinity pool edge where the water runs down the stucco/tile and has stained and ruined the wall edge. We've been trying for months to get it fixed but to no avail. I'm dealing with another contractor to fix these leaks. The bottom line is that the design was great, the installation was decent, and the follow-up is poor. read more

I met at your office on the 30th of October, was told I was going to receive plans and pricing before Thanksgiving, called and emailed 4x, and no one ever called back. I have to say with all the ads in Phoenix Home & Garden, this is not what I expected. read more

We used Mossman Brothers Pools for our pool and were delighted!!!!!!! Ours was a BIG project with a large split level pool. We had many subcontractors though the yard during our project and I can't even count how many said Mossman was the only one in town with the technical expertise that could have done the job!!!!!! Mossman was responsive to all our needs and NEVER charged us a dime for resolving issues (mostly caused by other contractors) that came up during construction. After completion of the pool Mossman was very responsive to all our questions and needs and favorably resolved every issue promptly. Today, a year later, the pool is BEAUTIFUL and we couldn't be more pleased. read more

Mossman did our pool and designed and built a water slide. Kimberly Mossman was supposed to be an ace in pool slide design. The resulting slide is dangerous -- too steep, too tight and and too abrupt at the end. There isn't one person who has used it who did not think it was dangerous. My son who is a triathlon-winner told me, after he used it one time, "you're going to get a lawsuit out of this." So now we have to tear it down and build a new one, and Mossman has bailed. Thanks a lot. read more

We recently completed construction of a new home and I wish Mossman Brothers Pools had built the whole thing. From the time we started working with Jeff Mossman on the design of our pool until today Mossman Brothers has exceeded our expectations. During the design phase Jeff Mossman and his staff listened to our ideas and needs and then designed a project that would work for us. They also worked closely with our landscaper to ensure the finished product fit well with the over-all plan for the back yard and even went so far as to make suggestions that improved the flow and utility of our plan. The result is a great, attractive space for entertaining and for our own personal enjoyment. Everyone on Mossman's staff has been pleasant to work with. They communicate well and their followup has been way above the norm. Unlike our builder, Mossman Brothers does what they say they will do. I can highly recommend Mossman to anyone contemplating a pool project and would definitely use them again. read more
