Had a few problems along the way. Not clear on the layouts, quick to enclose and replace doors later. A few sketchy subcontractor and not the best quality equipment. 3 years after the build and replacing furnace. Not to mention the plumbing problems. Watch the contract closely and use Lowe's materials- they do! But try to upsell you on other sites. Really disappointed because we love the space. read more

incompetent. We retained Moss to do two projects, one called the "interior/beam" project and the other for the master bathroom. As to the interior/beam project, one of the two support columns that their subcontractor installed was over a gap in the foundation where there is a passthrough to our crawl space. Moss didn't even check to see if the column would be over the foundation before construction. Fairfax County Code and Development Compliance (inspector Haggerty) recommended three possible alterations to deal with the fact that the column was over the gap. The inspector said we could (1) get a longer beam, (2) put in additional headers in the crawlspace to distribute the weight across the gap, or (3) support the column by placing a short column in the gap and cutting a new pass through. In addition, the inspector noted that the other support column was improperly constructed. In fact, several of the studs from the roof to the new support beam were cut too short and did not even contact the new beam (see pics). They also did not put up a temporary wall to support the upper levels of the house during the time they installed the new beam. In addition, on the first day of the bathroom project, the worker broke a pipe when altering the plumbing to the bathtub and there was water damage on the ceiling of the family room below the master bath. We later learned that this young man is not a licensed plumber. For these reasons, among others, at this point we had lost all faith in their structural work and decided we couldn't take the chance of having them try to fix the interior/beam project. Consequently, we terminated the interior project, but decided to finish what was left for the bathroom project. We then asked them to tally up the costs to date for the beam project so that we could reconcile them with our payments to date and close it out. After about three or four weeks they agreed to give us the costs and indicated that they would tack on a 30-40% markup as the general contractor. Even though we understand that the industry standard is 20% (10% for overhead and 10% for profit), we agreed to their markup. The "costs" they gave us, however, were grossly inflated. For example, the first line item is for a gas fireplace that they purportedly had already ordered. There was an allowance of $3,986.89 for the fireplace in the contract, which would equate to $5,581.64 with a 40% markup. However, the total cost they gave us for the fireplace was $6,891.25. And, they hadn't actually ordered the fireplace! Once we saw the fireplace discrepancy, we began to question the other line items. The first thing we did was to obtain the actual invoice from the Sheets lumber yard in Vienna for the next line item, which was the steel beam used in the framing. The line item on the original worksheet they gave to us had $1,114 for the steel beam. The Sheets invoice shows $568.25, which would be $795.55 after a 40% markup. At this point, it was clear that the "costs" they gave us were grossly inflated and were not even remotely based on actual costs. We called them out on the overcharges and they initially denied them. We had to show the project manager the receipt from Sheets before he would acknowledge the fraud. Then Moss took him off the project. After all that, when we gave them the check to finish the bathroom project, they had someone come to the house to take the check and then told us via email that they were terminating the contract. We later learned that they have been fined by VA DPOR for their contracting practices. You can look it up on the DPOR website. There are a lot a good qualified contractors in Fairfax county. Based on our experience, you should look elsewhere. They claim not to know us. That should tell you everything you need to know read more

I have had 4 major projects completed by Moss over a 5 year period. Every one of them was first rate workmanship. No punch list needed afterward. They just awarded me a 'Handyman for a Day' because of the many referals I was more than happy to give. Jeff was assigned to take care of the few items that I just didn't want to do myself...especially if I could have a true PRO take care of them. All done now. Working with the best is the only way to go. read more

This remodeling allowed us to better enjoy the space that was previously not put to use in our basement, such as the washer/dryer area, the small bathroom, and storage area. Through Moss' suggestion, we are now able to maximize the use of all the space in the basement, turning it into a highly desirable living space while maintaining the functionality of the area. We also updated our two bathrooms , now all our bedrooms have a spa like feels . Moss consultants, including Marta, Liz and Nick as well as the construction crew ( Jeffery, Kai and Joe) foreman, including Marty Moss provided insightful guidance and suggestions to ensure that I can achieve my vision in this project. Moss' highly informative and their willingness to consider "change" suggestions while offering constructive suggestions; and their commitment to standing by it works by providing excellent post-project follow-up services, make Moss a highly desirable company in the area of design, renovation, and construction. My family and I will certainly be repeated customers. Thank you Moss!! read more

We've just finished the design phase of a bathroom + sunroom + garage renovation for our 1885 house here in Herndon, VA. The team has been fun, thorough, available and just plain smart since day 1. We went through a lot of design changes (I've now seen more shades of blue than any other human alive) and are excited to see it come to life. Demolition work just started a couple of weeks ago, but the team has been meticulously clean and thoughtful. Working on these old houses can be a bit tricky but these guys really know what they're doing. Thanks Sean, Liz and Emily--we can't wait for next steps! read more

We moved to Virginia from North Carolina and had to compromise on buying a house we loved, but one that did not have a garage. We knew we had to build a garage and sought the advice of several Fairfax county residents who recommended Moss to us. While we interviewed a handful of building contractors, none impressed us more than Moss. They shared the capability of being able to design and visualize what the add-on structure would look like. As a an engineer and former construction PM, I am probably the absolute hardest customer to have. My standards for quality, project execution, and service delivery are ridiculously high. The design process took slightly longer than I expected due to miscommunication with a designer and scheduling hiccups. Then we had a change in PMs and the difference was night and DAY! I expressed my concerns, and instead of getting defensive, the senior PM, Matt (who is absolutely excellent) who took over, TOOK THE SUGGESTIONS and said they would be relayed so the team would improve on their processes. He approached the situation with empathy. He actually took such a strong lead on the project and has executed the project with the greatest professionalism, attention to detail, and responsiveness. In addition to having an online platform for customers and MOSS to have a common understanding of the aspects of the building project, Moss has fantastic people like Matt. He has been a superb communicator and honored our "asks." Never once has he made my inquiries or concerns seem like too much or an annoyance. I have been completely blown away and impressed by their kindness, integrity, and how they have worked tremendously hard and run to ground the important details when it comes to permitting, code, and compliance. If you need a building project, without a doubt, ask for Matt/David to lead it. If I had a construction company, I'd try to steal these talented PMs in a heartbeat. Fantastic service Strong values of integrity and service; pricing is fair and indicative--you'll get a quality product and quality might not necessarily come at the absolute lowest rate. read more

We chose Moss for our 2022 basement remodel, and we're so glad we did! Our project was a full remodel of a partially finished basement, including a full bathroom remodel, wall removal, new flooring, new lighting, and electrical work to get old wiring up to code. We were impressed by the team we worked with at Moss throughout the process, and we're delighted with the final product. Our project manager Tyler was an excellent communicator - he kept us up to speed on all aspects of the process and was highly accessible, responding quickly to any questions we had along the way. We enjoyed the collaborative design process and appreciated how mindful the team was about sticking to our budget. Throughout the design process, the team was very transparent about what choices would increase costs and/or extend the timeline, which helped us make smart tradeoffs. The work itself was high quality, and the workers in our home were uniformly thoughtful and courteous. They also did a great job protecting the rest of our house from the construction dust. read more

Wow! This company does killer work. The attention to detail, the use of technology in communication, qualified employees that have passed back ground checks, and responsiveness are the things that stand out. It seems that most of the pricing on these projects were very close, so I'm happy I decided to go with Moss Building and Design. Jason Hampel is leading a customer focused company. I think they also won best places to work, and I am not surprised. Anyway, check out this steam shower. Really great this winter, getting in this hot steam. Thanks Jason and the Moss team. read more

Good luck getting through the "call" center. After several tries. I got a call back from an associate. I called her back several times being promised to call back that never happened. When I finally got through her voicemail was full. I ended up having to text with her as she would not pick up the phone. Her remedy to helping me was for me to go to their website. Having already had a set of Plan That moss had done for the previous owner of my house. I was trying to talk to a person.. If I'm gonna spend a quarter million dollars on building a house you would think that someone would actually pick up the phone. But I felt like I was in a very long teenage conversation by text. Grossly unprofessional and not what I expected from Moss Or any other builder. I have been in contracting and real estate for 21 years. This is not how to treat your clients and customers. read more

This is our second kitchen remodel with MOSS Building & Design. The first being at our old house 10 years ago. We always knew we wanted to update this kitchen but are just now able to do so. We are planning basically an entire middle floor upgrade, with walls being knocked down and the entire kitchen space being changed. Right now we are mid process, having met with our designer and project manager several times to nail down the cabinet design (who knew how many options there are now!?) and to pick out all our selections. Our designer, William, has been available at all times to answer questions and has been great about going over our measurements and offering ideas and feedback - and also, has been very accommodating to our requests and changes. We'll be beginning the process in early 2021 and can't wait to see it all unfold and to enjoy our new kitchen next year! read more

We used Moss for an extensive home renovation to our Vienna, Virginia colonial in 2021/2022. When we embarked on this project, it was important to us to select a partner that would do beautiful work with minimal hassle. Moss certainly exceeded our expectations in terms of quality, thoughtfulness, responsiveness, and finished product. We have happily recommended Team Alpha (Sean, Marty, Liz, Marta, and Jeff) to our neighbors and friends. Thank you for our beautiful home and our great experience. read more

Moss remodeled my kitchen for me (including removing a wall) and I am thrilled with the results. From the initial sales meeting with Sean through the design stages with Liz to the project headed by Greg, I couldn't have asked for more. Liz Lee, my designer, is very creative and came up with several possible designs, three of which I hadn't even imagined. ( another company I had contacted only came up with one.) Liz found a way to include a pantry (which was missing in my townhouse) as well as a double-sided fireplace. She was also very helpful when I was overwhelmed with choices. Greg Maratto, project manager, was attentive and managed to figure out a way to vent the fireplace when it looked as if there was no way. Moss was communicative all through the project and stayed within budget. I recommend Moss highly! read more

After meeting with several companies, we hired Moss to turn our unfinished basement into usable space (laundry room, playroom, and gym), build a home office in our existing family room, and renovate two bathrooms. We were impressed with the ideas that Kevin (sales) and Kristen (designer) presented and their understanding of our priorities and budget. Kristen was patient with us during the design process and was able to effectively guide us in finding the right balance of aesthetics, budget, and functionality. During the construction phase, Tyler was our main point of contact and he is the BEST project manager. This was our first major reno project and he did a fantastic job of easing our anxiety and helping us make decisions. He shared updates regularly, addressed questions or concerns promptly, and expertly managed our expectations. The other team members, Jim and Gary, were also wonderful, courteous, and professional. Gary has excellent craftsmanship skills but also went above and beyond his job by helping us move heavy furniture, disassemble shelves that we no longer needed, etc. If there was any issue or apprehension about anything, Tyler, Jim, and Gary were so quick to resolve the matter. Our project was completed in a timely manner and we are thrilled with the end result. I would definitely hire Moss again and would recommend the company to anyone who values reliability, transparency, and a hassle-free renovation experience. Moss has a great team who works hard to deliver high quality results and client satisfaction. read more

I hired Moss Building and Design for a second story bathroom addition and bedroom expansion. The designers Emily and Liz drew out the entire plan for us and made sure we were happy with the design. The project started on time, building materials and long leads were purchased ahead of time and the day by day schedule was posted on the customer portal. Guess what, they finished ahead of schedule, achieved professional results and were quick to address any issues we had. Wouldnt have been possible without the expertise of our on-site manager Chad Jones, who watched every detail and checked on the house daily. The entire team helped us manage our budget well and were engaged with us throughout the whole process. I would highly recommend Moss and wont hesitate to hire them again. read more

The quality of the work was great, but they went WAYYYY over schedule. Their subcontractors were unreliable and unprofessional. Early on in the process, before work started, we were told our selections were going over budget. I expected some of that, but not to the extent that it happened. They sent someone with me to choose things; I thought the whole purpose of her being there was to keep me within my allowances. Well, guess not. Alright, so after raising concerns about this, had a long chat with a Moss person and things were good again. Then the work started. At first, things were looking good and going well, until all of a sudden everything stopped inexplicably. Five days in the schedule we lost because their scheduled workers (subcontractors, I'm guessing) failed to show. Their workers, when they DID show up, threw cigarette butts around the grounds, earning us a nasty letter from the HOA. They also left trash like soda cans and empty wendy's cups in our place. They left lots of trash out on our balcony for weeks until I had to ask them to clean it up. The Moss project manager was always nice and easy to work with, but he seemed very disconnected from the day-to-day progress and from the workers who were actually doing the work. When the workers stopped showing up all of a sudden, he didn't know about it until I called him to ask what was going on. We spent nearly $50K on them. Would NOT do it again. Avoid this place for anything pricey. Maybe for small handyman fixes they are OK. read more

They've been fined by Virginia's DPOR based on a complaint from another customer. It's public record.

Moss called me on 3 days notice to cancel an appointment I scheduled 2 months earlier. Staff disregarded my explanation of how difficult it would be for me to reschedule. On January 28 I called Moss and spoke with Linda, a member of the ill-named Customer Care Team. I explained that I have a house in Arlington where I want the basement remodeled, and that scheduling a consultation is difficult because the property is rented. I further explained that the basement situation is "quirky" and would require someone with a real designer's eye. She said Jason, one of the owners, would "by far" be the best person for the job. Because we had to schedule around Jason, me, and my tenant, we set it up for March 26 - two months in advance. On the afternoon of March 23 someone from Moss called me and said, "Jason has had something come up and has to cancel. Would you like to reschedule?" She also offered to have someone else keep the appointment instead of Jason. I pointed out that (a) I had scheduled 2 months in advance; (b) rescheduling is difficult because the house is rented, and (c) Linda had gone on and on to tell me that Jason was THE best person to help me design a remodel for a weird, quirky basement. I felt that the Moss person didn't care about my situation. She dismissed each of my concerns without truly addressing them. When I asked to speak to a manager she replied that all the managers would tell me the same thing. So I ended the call without resolution. After thinking about it for a bit I called her back and asked to speak with Jason. Finally, she relented and said that it was a "family matter" that was causing him to cancel. Her tone make me think it was perhaps something grave and I started feeling guilty for pressing the point. I eventually got Jason on the phone and he explained that he did, indeed have a family issue in the sense that one of his family members wanted him to do something. It was far from urgent or bad and, in fact, he admitted that it was essentially just poor planning on their part. After all of that Jason finally said he would keep the appointment if I really wanted him to, but not without a healthy dose of guilt thrown in. I decided that if he would be keeping the appointment reluctantly I may not get his best work product, so I politely declined. Jason then proposed that I skip meeting with them and meet with an outside architect with whom they often work. On the upside I'd get actual architectural-quality diagrams suitable to take straight to a builder. On the downside, I'm paying around $500 right out of the box rather than getting a sense of what the builder thinks is possible. Since I was pretty disgusted with Moss by that point, I decided to take them up on their offer, meet with the architect and skip Moss. I'm sure I'll get a quality product from the architect for my money, but the architect is limited in what designs he can give me because he has ideas that only a builder will know whether they can be done (like blowing a doorway in the wall of a bomb shelter). I can't believe that Moss called to cancel an appointment they'd made with me 2 months earlier. I'm deeply disappointed with the unprofessional way they went about canceling it. And I think it's kind of crummy that Jason offered to keep the appointment - but only after letting me know how much it would interfere with his family plans. And now I'm paying around $500 for an architect's designs (which I think will be very helpful) without knowing whether a builder can accomplish everything he suggested. read more

We had Moss build us a 500 sq ft addition in the back of our home with a bar in it. We chose them based on great reviews from the internet as well as fellow neighbors and we were not disappointed! Our experience from start to finish was amazing. The estimator (DJ), the designer (Kristen), project manager (Patrick and Bob) were all a pleasure to work with. Their attention to detail was second to none and we couldn't be happier with the outcome. The Moss contractors (Lonny, Steve, and Jim) and all the subcontractors that came out were also all friendly, competent, and professional and were all a pleasure to meet and work with as well. We want to especially give a shout-out to our project manager Patrick. He had the immense task of managing this entire project from start to finish on top of us having a lot of custom requests and changes along the way. He made sure to ensure our satisfaction by taking each new request we had and making sure they were completed. I wouldn't say we weren't the easiest of clients so we greatly appreciate Patrick for dealing with us in such a respectful, professional, and kind manner. My husband and I did an addition with Moss Building and Design. We decided to do an addition because we love our neighborhood and yard (about a half-acre outside of Old Town). Our house was a little under 1,000 square feet and is now just over 2,000 square feet. Moss helped us double the size of our house which included a brand new kitchen, laundry room, powder room, office/4th bedroom, master suite (bath and closet), and screened in covered porch. We also reconfigured the existing bedrooms and created a dining room. Moss designed the space to meet our needs and worked with us to make sure the layout functioned. It was important to us to make sure the addition flowed well with the existing house. Moss also help us to create a custom built in bench in our mudroom and two custom built in china cabinets in the dining room. We lived in our house throughout the duration of the project. We started our project in August 2015 and completed in February 2016. Moss stands by their work and offers a lifetime warranty. They have an amazing team of people. We have enjoyed our partnership with them. It has now been over 3 years since our project was completed and we had an issue with our crawl space. Our pest guy informed us that our insulation was falling down. Moss had installed new insulation during our addition. We contacted David Greksouk and he quickly got us in touch with Damon our new project manager. Damon had someone come out to look at it and then they had the contracted crawl space company look at it. Moss stood by their work and covered all costs to replace the insulation. They even added a net to insure it wouldn't happen in the future. Damon explained that the net is not required but is an extra step that they will willing to pay for to make sure we were satisfied with the job. We were already customers for life after our addition was completed, but the way they handled our crawl space issue cemented our decision to be customers for life. We are now planning to do a patio and we know Moss is the right design build company for the job. If you are looking for a design build company, look no further and contact Moss Building and Design. You won't regret it, trust us. read more

We did a kitchen redesign with Moss in early 2018. It wasn't a small project -- we ripped down walls, did a lot of plumbing work that impacted the whole house, and significantly altered the entire layout of our whole kitchen. To be honest, before we even started, we assumed the entire project would be a form of hell-on-earth, but that we'd suffer through it because it would be worth it in the end. Well, we couldn't have been more wrong and that's because Moss Building and Design is great! From our sales agent, to our design manager, to the project manager and most importantly, the team who did the work in our home, we couldn't have been happier. At every step of the way, they made it as easy as possible for us. Our sales agent Damon helped us craft a kitchen that was what we wanted but within our budget. Our design manager Molly really understood what we were looking for and helped us pick out all the perfect options with ease. The project manager Jack kept us well informed of every step of the process and kept it all running like clockwork. And Luis and Leo, who did the work in our house, were exceptional. Their work was impeccable and efficient, and they were a joy to have in our homes for 2 months. In the end, the whole project was done in less time than estimated and it all came in on budget. AND we love the kitchen -- it brings us so much joy as a family! We couldn't be happier with Moss from start to finish. read more

Great experience every time. I have been a customer for the last 13 years or so. Have completed multiple projects and have always found them to be very professional and workmanship is exceptional. Moss has completed basement, bathrooms, electrical and plumbing work and have never had a need to call them back for repairs etc. Definitely recommend them for any house projects. read more

Moss cut corners at multiple steps in our project. It was a very simple project - a single room with no plumbing. It was like there was no project manager at all. We had to stay on top of the project and when they tried to pass off quick fixes, we'd have to insist on the top management coming out and then finally get the "A" team of carpenters. The entire team from architect to project and production managers all changed during the course of our project - so clearly there are retention issues in this company. Now, nearly a year after the project was "done", we are finding that the roof was never fully finished! This project also ultimately cost MUCH more than projected. The only reason I gave 2 stars is that with our diligence we ultimately got the room we wanted. But we will never work w/ Moss again. This finding of the roof problem was the final straw which is what prompted the review write up. read more

We don't take home repairs lightly and chose Moss because of our previous quality interactions. We were severely disappointment about the customer service we received when after two years of repeated phone calls and emails, the situation wasn't resolved. In the summer of 2017 we decided to have our crumbling, old porch repaired and got a few bids. We decided to go with MOSS, a decision we would come to regret. Initially, we were happy with the results. MOSS repainted and sealed our railings, and more importantly, the concrete coating they put over our steps looked great. Sadly, our satisfaction would barely make the six month mark. That was around the point where I first noticed the cracks forming in the work that had just been done the previous summer. Fast forward six months, to where I finally decided to send a letter to two of the company's founders and officers listed on their web site. To quickly sum up, the letter detailed the eleven interactions I'd had with various MOSS contacts over the past six months, including the one where one of their engineers told me that the problem was structural and that he'd told the original Project Manager who'd drafted our proposal about this. At the end, I stated that we wanted this done right, would have happily paid the extra to have the porch repaired correctly, and asked to have that done with what we'd already paid applied to the balance. I also asked, that given the communication issues we'd had that any further correspondence be in writing or e-mail. So of course, a week or two later I got a voice message from MOSS. I was told that this sort of cracking was perfectly normal in the first year and that they would seal it for us. Not being an engineer, I took MOSS's word for it and agreed to have this done. The cracks were sealed, and all was fine again. Fast forward a few more months, and the porch started cracking again. Another engineer came out and reiterated that the steps' problem was structural, and that sealing it over would accomplish nothing. I relayed this to MOSS (and again asked that we have the porch done properly), and was again assured that this was normal and that sealing it would handle everything. They also pointed out that most other contractors only warranty their work to one year and they would seal it again. They did, and around another half year later we repeated this again, and once again we were offered to have the steps re-sealed. Even the contractor who came out to do the work told me this wouldn't save our problem, but being resigned to the fact that this was the most I'd get from MOSS, I had him do the work anyway. Now we're at the two year mark. The steps now have cracks that are well on their way to matching the cracks we had before we set out to have them fixed. There's a roughly two inch square on a zero traffic area of our bottom step that's simply chipped away. The one thing I'll say to MOSS' credit is that the railings looked great from day one and still do. Aside from that, we basically paid $6,000 for the functionality of a coat of paint on our porch. I'm not saying not to do business with MOSS, but if you do be sure to retain an engineer and an attorney. You'll need both. read more

Let me start off by saying the final product was okay. The process? Horrible. It was 3.5 months longer than it should have been and resulted in a damaged hardwood floor. When I started the project (redoing the tile in the foyer and kitchen, redoing the tile around the fireplace, adding a mantle over the fireplace, filling in some shelves with drywall over the fireplace to mount a TV, removing a large mirror - overall simple tasks) I was told this was a one week project. I thought that would be overambitious, but I was happy to hear it wouldn't take months as I had anticipated. However, this one week project spanned four months because of Moss' inability follow a plan, communicate, and keep their word. The first red flag should have been that after they did the tile demo, they realized they hadn't ordered new tile. I had provided the tile information weeks ago and Mark (the project manager who couldn't manage) didn't bother to order the tile. Once it was ordered, I received a call from Home Depot about a tile order because his team was unable to place the order and pick it up. I didn't hire a contractor to order and pick up tile myself. Shortly after the tile demo, I noticed our brand new hard wood floor had a number of scratches. The only explanation is that they DRAGGED the tile from the fireplace demo across the wood floor. We expressed our dissatisfaction and they promised they would fix it. Mark continued to promise they could fix it even though they took no action. Finally after all the other work was done (months later), this item remained. I scheduled a meeting with Mark. Instead of Mark, he sent a guy Terry. Terry was able to take care of the last few items for us, including repairing the wood floor. ...which they fixed by coloring in. Which I could have done... If i had thought that was a reasonable solution. They finally agreed to deduct from the total bill to compensate for their poor work. Do yourself a favor and find another contractor. read more

I purchased 8 hours of a handyman thru an Angie's List deal. Folks at Moss took care of my questions and told me they'd send someone named Stan. About four days before the appt, Stan called me. We discussed the day's plan and material needed. On the day, Stan arrived on time and, frankly, made a difference by the time he left. It isn't just the jobs that were done. It's knowing every time I open certain doors, they're fixed and working right, things are sealed that hadn't been and my house is now just better. Stan was personable, a pro at all he touched, and helpful with his advice. If you need this kind of service, go for Moss. I will when the time comes again. read more

I am a very big fan of the work Moss does. I've had them do handyman tasks such as weatherproofing doors, repairing a broken screen door and correcting vents for upgraded bathroom fans I had installed. The work included running the ducting to new vents that Moss installed in the gable end of my attic. I've referred them to friends who had them correct water leaks in their sunroom and they were satisfied too. This past fall we had them work with us to do a complete remodel of the first floor of our house. Work included complete demo of the kitchen, taking down walls, rerouting plumbing, installing new hardwoods & floor tile (not Moss), fixing a variety of problems that crop up in a remodel, and building out a mudroom off our kitchen. We threw a lot of additional work at them along the way and the Project Manager (always ask for Bob K.) took it in stride. 6 months later we're happy as ever. For pics, go to their website and look for Fairfax Kitchen and Mudroom remodel or something similar. read more

The customer service that I consistently received was horrid. Absolutely no follow-through. Never received an estimate or any worthwhile design ideas except for a suggestion to do the precise thing that I clearly stated that I did not want to do. Not listening to potential customers is definitely not the way to make a business thrive, and in speaking to others in the local community,I was advised never to do business with Moss. The little contact that I had with customer service certainly assured that. read more

After I left three messages, they finally called me back and kept me waiting for six minutes while they presumably checked their calendar (couldn't they have done that prior to calling?), only to tell me they didn't have availability to give me an estimate for a month. It looks like business is good enough for them that they don't have to take every lead seriously. read more
