We had to hire pest control for our rental, because I was being eaten alive every time I walked outside of the house. I know there isn't much they can do for flying insects, but since they've been coming (every 3 weeks) I have noticed a decrease in the amount of bites I get. The team comes over and checks in to see if I've noticed anything unusual that I would like them to focus on. For instance, we had a black widow chillin' on our porch, then I saw that it went down into crack. I told them when they came over and they sprayed the area. No more black widow. I know they eat all the mosquitos I'm complaining about, but I couldn't risk getting bite or my boys either. read more

After two years of using this service, I honestly didn't see any improvement -- we still had just as many mosquitos as before. Over the last year and a half, the technicians would spend maybe 10 minutes or less in our large yard, which felt like the bare minimum. That's ultimately why I decided to cancel. I'm so disappointed I should've listened to the Yelp reviews. The guy with a British accent during my initial call said they're a company with 100% satisfaction guarantee and that if we're not happy with the results "they would refund us and give a free retreatment". Well, after the first treatment, we were still getting bit within the first 5 minutes outside and there were lots of mosquitoes flying into our house biting us. I emailed them stating we are not satisfied with the results and we would like a "retreatment or a partial refund" (I didn't even ask for a full refund). I was met with an email that stated "we do not offer refunds and your second treatment is already scheduled, so you cannot get a free one". I did not schedule a 2nd treatment so I immediately called and spoke to a lady who did kindly try to explain the situation but was ultimately contradicting herself. She said they "never offer refunds" and "No free treatment, I don't know any business that offers free treatments!" Yet she stated several times "after the second treatment on the 18th, if you call on the 19th then you can get a free one". (So you do offer free treatments then? Why can't the 18th one be free?) None of it made sense and unfortunately this company lost my trust. I've never written a bad Yelp review like this and am disappointed I had to for this company. I wish them all the best as a local small business, but I do want future customers to understand their "100% satisfaction guarantee" policy better. If they would've stated from the beginning "you must pay for the first 2 treatments before evaluating the situation", that would've been more honest. UPDATE 3 days later: The company calls me and says "we spoke with our boss and would like to offer your treatment on the 18th for free". I really didn't expect this, so shocked I just said "okay? thanks!" I felt the situation was rectified and I planned to edit my review once they came. Well.. the 18th came and went; they did not show despite us and my neighbors making plans around the treatment. I received an email of a receipt that said I had been refunded. It had no explanation so I emailed back "We didn't see you on the 18th, I'm assuming this refund receipt was emailed to me instead of the retreatment on the 18th (which you offered over the phone)?" Matt calls me and doesn't let me speak, saying "we never offer refunds, I don't know any small business that would do that, I never said that, etc etc" (okay, but you literally just sent me an email saying you refunded me). He was saying because of my "wonderful yelp review" he doesn't want to service us. (Fair, but you offered the free treatment after I wrote it) All I wanted was communication.. they could've cancelled the 18th retreatment (or not offered it all!), but instead they no-showed, sent a confusing refund receipt via email, then when I tried to politely clarify via email, I get attacked on the phone. Guys, I'm a middle child, I don't get into arguments with anyone. This was bewildering to me. Never have I ever had a customer experience like this! Whiplash! My objective review is that if their treatment works for your backyard - that's awesome! I'm sure it does work for lots of people's areas. They'll be professional and nice to you. If it doesn't.. you will receive unprofessionalism and hostility you never asked for. read more

Didn't feel that they are customer focused. Had two phone calls with them, and the second phone call left me feeling as though I was being mocked. A guy with a British accent who didn't seem self aware about his professionalism (or lack of). Cancelled my appointment, unfortunately. There are too many other pest control options out there for me to want to deal with it. Horrible. Came out three times, the second and third time on very short notice. They were having billing issues on their end and instead shifted the blame on my credit card being declined. Accused me very rudely over the phone. There were still mosquitos everywhere, and I told them to remove me from their billing. Was offered a 100% satisfaction guarantee, but they never followed through. Overall, a poor customer service experience and ineffective service. Very condescending over the phone and via email. The city offers free vector control, give them a call and they'll send out a city working to do a proper job which involves looking in your neighbors yards as well as your own for potential breeding areas (puddles, etc) and neutralizing them. My neighborhood gets hit hard with mosquitoes, especially aggressive ankle biters making summers tough to be outdoors. The citronella candles and oils my family and I typically use don't seem to work for us.  I decided to hire Matt and his Mosquito Squad to treat my yard the day before my backyard barbeque and it was the best decision ever for my family and guests. It only took Matt less than half an hour to apply his treatment. He showed up with a mask in case you are concerned with safety measures against covid.  I liked that there were no odors of strong chemicals- but rather pleasant smells of nature.   Not one single person from our gathering complained about any bug bites.  I am completely satisfied with Matt's professional service and would hire him again in a heartbeat! read more

Our new hillside home in Monrovia has a mosquito problem something fierce. Called Mosquito squad and they came out and the two man team rocked my half acre backyard in about half an hour at a fair price. I went out a half hour after they sprayed and got dive bombed a couple times so definitely need to wait 24 hours as they recommend. 48 hour mark, most of the mosquitos gone!! 7 days later, we probably have an 80% reduction. Wife still won't stay out too long since 80% of a metric ton is still a ton. I think I'll use them on an as needed treatment basis for parties, but can't justify the regularly scheduled service. read more

Didn't work at all. They came out the first time, just sprayed quickly and were gone in a few minutes. Mosquitos did not reduce at all, they gave me a free re-treatment which seemed more thorough, but still didn't help. After the final time they came out, the next day there were even more mosquitos. I finally canceled the service. Despite 100% satisfaction guarantee, they don't give refunds. I don't think they are thorough enough, never spent time to check where there might be source of mosquitos or suggest other possible solutions. read more

We have been inundated with mosquitos and we were excited to see the mosquito squad van driving around our neighborhood. While the treatment isn't 100% (nothing is) it significantly reduces the number of mosquitos in our backyard and we can actually spend time outdoors. Additionally, all of the employees are so sweet and professional we are happy to see them every three weeks. We cannot recommend them enough! read more
