Well, our server, "Hellen" (yes, with two "L"s), gave us our drink order and then grabbed the drink menu from the table. My girlfriend said "Can we keep that?" - just in case we wanted a different drink later. My girlfriend then asked me if I wanted to keep the drink menu at the table, and I said, "Yeah - but we can always ask for it again." Whereupon "Hellen" shook the menu in her hand and said to us firmly, "Do you want the menu or not?!" I felt like saying to her "Who the h#ll do you think you're talking to?" - but didn't want to make a scene. Next, the only time we saw "Hellen" again was when she took our empty dinner dishes. (There were young guys walking around refilling our water glasses, so no need for her to do that.) We finished our meal and "Hellen" stopped at our table to leave the dinner check. Never once during our meal did she ask if everything was okay. She also didn't ask if we wanted another drink or, perhaps, dessert? (If they serve such a thing.) And it didn't appear to be just us. No one else on either side of us got another drink or was asked how their meal was. It seemed like it was just, "Here's your meal, hurry up and eat and leave so we can clean your table for the next people." Horrible service. Ruined the end of a nice day for us.

These were the perfect complement to the sweet and spicy sauces and chewy rice cakes. The Kalbi was the most delicious. Great sized pieces of meat that packed a punch with flavor. I love the pieces that had some fat and char. And the jjajangmyeon noodles were bouncy and coated with the black bean sauce. Every bite was better than the next. This spot was very relaxed and casual. The servers were so hospitable and friendly. I loved our experience and I will definitely come back for my favorites.
