First time coming here and absolutely enjoyed my visit! The place was busy and took a few minutes for my coffee to be made but I was entertained with people watching I didn't mind! The coffee is absolutely delicious! At first sips, the espresso tasted florally then transformed into more of a chocolatey cocoa flavor. The iced espresso is also excellent. Ordering was quick and easy. The staff are all friendly and welcoming, answering my questions about the menu items. The environment is warm and welcoming, with lots of earth tones and plants. LOVE the paintings and the mosaics on the walls behind the counter and in the bathroom. Beautiful!

It's always nice to find a new coffee shop that takes their coffee beans as seriously as their specialty drinks. I had a great El Salvador pour over when I visited. It was also nice that when I asked the baristas they had good recommendations for which of their beans I might like. The place itself is on the small side so it gets full it seems. It definitely has what to me feels like that uptown vibe and fits in with the neighborhood perfectly. The only things I wish it had would be a few more comfortable spots to sit with a book.

We are SO happy that Mosaic joined the Uptown neighborhood! It's very quickly become our go-to coffee shop, both for grabbing quick to go drinks and for hanging out with a good book amongst the local art and beautiful mosaic backsplash. The owners are so fun and kind - who doesn't love an outfit compliment alongside a great matcha?? Truly, their matcha is well made (none of the gritty, improperly mixed matcha here) and it's delicious with their seasonal, homemade syrups such as peach, blueberry, or blackberry. The espresso is great too - we absolutely love the niche latte creations they have, a rarity for my husband who is usually a straight up cold brew kinda guy. Their pistachio latte is probably my favorite but the peach vanilla latte that I had this morning was spectacular. Overall, great little neighborhood spot that we love - it gets pretty busy on weekends as a warning but they're speedy with drinks and there's usually a seat to snag. Highly highly recommend!

I was beyond thrilled when I saw that Mosaic was doing a specialty menu! I'm not a huge normal, vanilla latte or plain matcha latte type girl so I was very excited to see new and unique drinks. Mosaic just opened within walking distance from us and I love the vibe inside. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful, they had a really positive energy. The place seems really nice to sit down and work in too. It's not the most quiet but if you don't mind that, it's great. They brought our drinks to us at a table which was unexpected but very nice . The matcha was delicious! It didn't taste overly milky, watery or syrup froward. I felt as though the blackberry wasn't some random premade syrup and really loved it with the matcha! I've never seen any other shop have a blackberry matcha on their menu. My boyfriend also really enjoyed his peach vanilla latte! Very happy to have such a nice, clean, friendly, unique coffee shop so close to us!

One of the staff members actually told me it was his favorite and he was absolutely right. So good! It is a little spendy, but the portions are HUGE. Definitely enough to split with someone or turn into two meals, so it feels more justified once you see the size. Old school all the way. There's a restaurant in the back, and a full-scale deli counter in the front. It is such a good stop. They have their own private parking lot too. Wood paneling, and a bunch of local reviews all over the walls. Clean, normal sound. Simple, with excellent customer service, and a huge menu that will have something that you like. Packed the midweek afternoon we visited, and we did not wait for a table. Loved my bowl of Matzo Soup, superb broth and the Matzo was delicious. Enjoyed my BLT on whole wheat and the homemade potato salad was amazing! Had a cherry cobbler for dessert that was incredible. Restaurant has been open for over 70 years, and I met the owner/manager, Cecil, afterward, and he just oozes customer service being a priority. It's a must-visit place.

The line for baked goods was also busy but moved quick and wow - I regret not getting any of the baked goods. They looked phenomenal. I had the Leonard Da Vinci which was outstanding. The gardiniera was the perfect level of spice and the sandwich was jam packed with salami and turkey. The Cole slaw was also delicious. The vibe inside is very Eastern European deli authentic which is so fun. They had tons of to go items for sale as well and a huge grab and go beverage selection. The seating area was spacious and packed on a warm spring day.

They are always hopping and for good reason. Their made from scratch bagels and cream cheese are both amazing. The line moves along well so don't turn away if you see a line, just bop to the jams they're playing to pass the time. My go to is a breakfast sandwich usually: whole wheat honey bagel, egg, sausage, swiss and added their bacon chive cream cheese. Ate this sandwich slow to enjoy it longer. So good. not pictured but another love is their cinnamon sugar bagel and I add honey nut cream cheese. Great spot to grab a sandwich, a bagel or a dozen and a tub of cream cheese. They have lots of flavors to find what floats your boat! For more awesome food spots check out the account mallorymademetryitmn on Instagram!

It wasn't super busy just two people ahead of me and I decided to try the MacGyver sandwich based on the guys in front of me suggestions. I mentioned to the person at the register that it was my first time there, but she didn't seem welcoming or interested, which was disappointing. I ordered two MacGyver sandwiches and two coffees. After waiting over 30 minutes with no update, I finally asked about my order but got no real response. When the food was eventually ready, the coffees had been forgotten entirely. The sandwiches themselves were okay... not bad, just not particularly memorable. The space is clean and has a good menu, so I can see the potential, but this visit just wasn't a great first impression. Would I return? Maybe, if someone I was with really wanted to go. But honestly, I can think of other spots I'd try first.
