Cute and aesthetic dessert place :-) The decor and nighttime ambiance really ties in the place together! The service was great!! Our server was funny and nice. The ice cream came out relatively quickly as well. As for the actual dessert, I feel like it was a 3/5 stars at most. I prefer tastes where you can really distinguish between each flavor. Each flavor was super light to the point where the kona coffee and ube almost tasted identical. Other than that, I love the peanut crumble they put on top. read more

About a 1-1.5: MOSA offers ice cream in various flavors (coconut, strawberry, matcha, vanilla, chocolate, coffee, ube, and cookies & cream) and tanghulu (which are in limited stock). We went for the 3-scoop option, with coconut, ube, and coffee - the ice cream itself, unfortunately, was grainy and had some ice crystals, which made it unenjoyable. The tanghulu with the strawberries, didn't seem to have been prepared correctly, as the melted sugar coating was too thick, and the strawberries themselves should have been more fresh. Service was fine; note that this is a take-out business, so you get your treat(s) to go. +grainy ice cream +avoid the tanghulu read more

We got ube and coffee. Ice creams are flavorful. Service is good. Staff is made up of young friendly kids. Loved the overall experience. Peanut sprinkle is too strong for the subtle flavors of the ice cream and I don't recommend it as a topping. read more

Yummy Strawberry Ice Cream, the peanut brittle that that added on to was awesome too!

Soooo yummy... and convenient that they're one of the few spots that are open late in a popular location. It's always nice to enjoy scoops of ice cream, but the peanut brittle topping is like the cherry on top, so good and pairs well with the ice cream. They just added Macnut brittle which is even better. Selena and Noah are great servers, very efficient. Make sure you stop by and treat yourself. read more

NEW MAC NUT SHAVING. Thank me later! Noah takes and Mickey makes. The duo took care of our party of 13 swiftly and gave personable service, eliciting a very comfortable but seemingly upbeat atmosphere. Before we knew it, everyone spent an additional 30 minutes enjoying talks and sharing stories well after finishing their delicious and refreshing ice cream. All in all, unique, "vibey", and fun experience! read more

First off spent $30 here for 3 items a wrap, cup and tanghulu. Cup was fine can't mess that up as well as wrap just ice cream melts fast! My biggest issue is the tanghulu, you pay a lot of money already for 3 strawberries but the strawberries were rotten and smushed plus the sugar wasn't hard no crunch at all!! The sugar was more like a thin soft candy that gets stuck in your teeth! Don't waste your money here. read more

Open late Taiwanese dessert spot in Waikiki. Warning: if you have a peanut allergy stay clear of this spot! Walking around Waikiki at night and stumbled around MOSA. It's a walk-up dessert spot with some outdoor seating near the strip. The night we came by we had already partaken in one dessert --- but who doesn't love a double dessert night?! I ordered the mini mosa wrap, which is like a little crepe that comes with 2-3 scoops of ice cream. I got their coconut and ube ice cream- which paired perfectly with the peanut brittle. They also sold beef jerky, my friends were in more of a savory mood than me so they ended up buying 3 bags of jerky. They had samples of their jerky on the tables- we love the spicy and salt n' vinegar. If you're walking around Waikiki looking for a sweet treat, def check out this spot. read more

This is definitely something everyone should experience when they visit Waikiki if you like ice cream and good vibes and energy this is a must! I went almost every night I was in town for dessert. The vanilla and coffee and cookies n cream ice creams are super creamy and the fruit flavors are crisp and flavorful! Everything tastes fresh and the peanut brittle adds an amazing component to the flavor that I'm not used to and that I ABSOLUTELY LOVE! Jason and Mickey are such kind, hardworking and dedicated entrepreneurs. They greeted me on my second visit by name after only meeting me once. You can tell how much they care about their customers and their craft and I wish them the most success possible and hope that one day I can get some Mosa! In LA / California as they continue to grow their business! Appreciate you guys! Keep up the good work and thank you for making my trip to Oahu so memorable. read more

Wanted something sweet and most places were closed already but luckily found this place on yelp. Got the wrap with matcha and strawberry as recommended by the girl working in the front who was so sweet and helpful, (hope she reads this!) and even the guy who I think owns the place or something was so nice. What I really like was the crunchy stuff i think maybe it was the brittle or something, they said you could only get it at certain places which made it unique. They were so nice and we really enjoyed our experience, will be coming again in the future! Love the vibes read more

1000% must try. I personally LOVE anything peanuts, and this was such a treat. The peanut crumble adds a different texture to the softness of the ice cream, along with the wrap that adds another, almost mochi like texture. The only disappointing thing is that we inhaled it so fast and it was gone in a flash! I could have had 3 of these. Whatever restaurant you're eating at, skip the dessert and come here! read more

A family friend recommended this new and upcoming shop, and I'm so glad we got to try it. Head nod to the clever title - Mosa, short for the little Taiwan island also known as Formosa. We had someone in our group swing by and drove our orders 40 minutes all the way back to Kaneohe.. so to say we were all so happy with our orders must REALLY say something about the flavors! Our group ordered 5 wraps with varying flavors of ube, matcha, coconut, coffee and strawberry. My favorites - ube, matcha, and coffee flavors were prominent and each hit the spot in their own ways. However for my ideal wrap experience, I recommend pairing fruity flavors with the delicious peanut shavings. You absolutely cannot skip the freshly shaved peanut shavings. It was a delicious ice cream experience and we can't wait to try the ice cream, fresh at the shop!! read more

Been seeing this place all over social media and finally was able to try it last night. This place is the real deal! We got the matcha/coconut combo and lawdddd that was scrumptious. Peanut brittle adds so much flavor, contrast and that coconut alone was delicious. Smooth and easy ordering. Beautifully set up tables and chairs with enough color to wake up the senses. What puts this place over the top was the co-owner. Bradda was saying hi, checking in, cleaning and overall seeing if everyone was okay. Real kind and personable fella, says they've been opened for 5 months. This place will be a regular spot for us. Ono-licious!!!!! read more

What a unique desert place located in the heart of Waikiki. Although parking maybe quite a challenge they do have something that separates them apart from the rest. Great customer service, incredibly welcoming atmosphere with a nice lounging area to sit and enjoy your dessert paired with awesome tasting dessert. I enjoyed their burrito ice cream toll they offer but nothing beats just having plain out ice creams with their peanut shavings on it. All in all a phenomenal place to be to enjoy yourself a great tasting dessert. They also do have a stamp card so feel free to ask them about it when paying for your bill at the window. Also if you know how to enjoy yourself a game or two on their gaming console that offers super smash bros read more

MOSA - Cookies and cream mini wrap. - Ice Cream & Frozen Yogurt Near Me - Honolulu, Hawaii

I've only had this dessert in Taiwan. I don't even know the name for it.... But it's like an ice cream burrito. The part that makes it special is this freshly shaved peanut brittle that turns into this deliciously sweet peanut powder that is probably the worst nightmare of people who are allergic. Mosa serves this ice cream burrito with your choice of ice cream, the peanut shavings and a strawberry. They have other things on their menu too. They have tanghulu, but it was a little on the pricey side. I think I can wait to go back to Taiwan to indulge in tanghulu. It's only $1 per stick in Taiwan. It's a cute set up. You order at the counter/window and there are a few tables you can sit and enjoy your dessert at. The best part is that this place is open late. Everything in Hawaii closes so early... but this place is open until midnight!! There's no parking so good luck, but I've seen people pull over to the side of the street since it's on a road that isn't too busy. read more

MOSA is a tiny little ice cream shop located right next door to Topped Waikiki. At night you'll see a crowd of people sitting outside eating ice cream and playing video games. I usually go there for a sweet treat after dinner in the area and it really hits the spot. It's definitely a little different from a conventional ice cream shop though because at MOSA, they shave fresh peanut brittle and sprinkle it over your ice cream of choice (which is why it takes a little longer to get your order too!) My go to is the ube ice cream. That paired with the peanut brittle? 10/10. I have yet to try everything else though because unfortunately I am the type of person to stick with one singular thing once I find my favorite. I've also heard that if you beat the owner at Super Smash, you can get free ice cream! Haven't been able to do it though because they can only play when it's not busy and it is ALWAYS busy when I go :( read more

I came here with family at 9pm on a Wednesday and it was pretty crowded. We got a regular Mosa wrap with Matcha, Ube, and vanilla and a 2 scoop cup with ube and coconut (7.5/10). The flavors were all so delicious, but nothing memorable. I love the peanut sprinkle, which adds a unique touch to the dish and wished there was more. MOSA is one of the more unique ice cream shops in Waikiki! This Taiwanese-influenced ice cream shop offers fairly standard ice cream flavors, but the twist is the peanut "brittle" shavings they add to it. The ice cream is really good! Try the wrap! I'm pretty sure I'm obsessed with the ice cream from Mosa. Who knew that adding shaved peanut brittle to a scoop or two of ice cream would be so addicting, but it really is so good! I always ask for extra peanut brittle shaving. Mosa is a super relaxed and friendly place to grab some ice cream. The people who work there are super nice. YEAH, WE ORDERED ALMOST EVERYTHING on the menu each day we stayed (which was 7 days). Its the peanuts in the ice cream for me~~ man, its such a different taste and it just hits different.
