Ice Cream crepe w macadamia nut
Shirley W.

Cute ice cream shop tucked away in a random street. I like how they also have a video game area where you can just play Smash Bros on the side. Pretty fun! This was my first time trying, so we got the matcha ice cream, vanilla, and cookies and cream in the crepe style. We also added the macadamia nut topping to it as well. It didn't take too long for our order to prepare since I wasn't too busy. First glance, it generally just looks like an ice cream burrito lol. We were also sharing so it was kinda hard to eat haha. The cookies and cream and vanilla ice cream were pretty good! The matcha ice cream though, it just tastes like the basic matcha ice cream you get at a japanese restaurant, not really quite authentic, but just "matcha flavored". I felt like the crepe itself didn't really elevate the ice cream experience, nor did the macadamia nuts on it. It just felt like an ice cream burrito and not a fancy ice cream crepe. The ice cream was really nice for the weather though.

Such an adorable spot for a quick sweet treat. I ordered a 'Mosa Cup!' with one scoop of vanilla and peanut sprinkle. Such a simple concept, but it is sooo delicious. I feel like the peanut sprinkle helps elevate the flavor considerably, and hits the spot just right. The presentation is adorable as this comes in a cup that looks like a flower pot, with a shovel as a spoon. The workers were kind, and even checked up on us once we finished in the small seating area that they have up front. Definitely recommend to anyone in the area, you won't be disappointed.

Great dessert place near university. Service is fast and comes out quick. Lots of flavors to choose from and different options from scoops to crepes

Kona coffee and coconut topped with Mac nut
Michele T.

Stopped by MOSA for a late night sweet treat. We skipped the wrap and went with the 2 scoop cup - Kona coffee and Coconut ice creams topped with their special shaved mac nut. Yummy! Would've liked more of the mac nut as it was that good. The ice creams were good, too - creamy! Staff were very friendly. Also, one can enjoy their treat while playing Mario Smash as the game is available for free - located on the side of the shop.

Grated peanuts

Loved this spot for a sweet treat. I got the coffee ice cream topped with fresh strawberry slices and peanut shavings. The coffee flavor was rich without being overly sweet, and the texture was super smooth and creamy. The Taiwanese-style twist comes from the peanut shavings on top, which added a nutty, slightly salty crunch that made each bite more interesting. The strawberries brought a fresh, juicy balance that tied everything together really nicely. Simple combo, but so satisfying -- I'd definitely come back for this again.

Fabula- MOSA! It tasted exactly how I imagined it to be. I was sifting through Yelp and found this cute little dessert/ice cream place. I was intrigued how it was all in a wrap! Yum. Their important ingredient was the peanuts! Sorry for all you peanut allergic people out there! The shaved peanut brittle was the cherry on the top for this wrap. So they take a crepe wrap and put the peanut shavings, then top it with scoop of ice-cream. We got the cookies and cream! Oh wow did it all blend together so well. They use what looks like pure peanut brittle. They have a macadamia option but it's seasonal. It was sooo good biting into this wrap. I could have honestly had another one. If I wasn't so full, I would have tried the macadamia one. Service was quick and the owner was really nice. Really puts a lot into his business and customers! Would love to come back again!

Two scoop. Peanut brittle

Slap me happy this just blew my mind RIGHT open. You love ice cream? You love peanut brittle? Well slap those two together and you have heaven on earth. The sweet the saltiness, the texture. All five stars. Shaved peanut brittle right into my mouth please? The staff could not hav been sweeter or nicer- just like their brittle!

Good service, wanted a sweet treat and saw this. It was pretty good, price was higher than expected. Pretty standard but cool flavors which I enjoyed.

Honeydew Mochi, Ube, matcha

Let me just say it was so good i kept going back on my trip here. I got lucky there was no line any of the times. Honeydew Mochi was the best flavor followed by Ube. I ordered Vanilla, Chocolate, Matcha and. Ube, Only negative is they open at 4. I can

Tried four flavors, ube, kona, macha, and strawberry. Best one is Kona. Scoop is just right. Taste is ok. 11-18-2025

Grape tanghulu

Was craving a tanghulu- found it! It was a good tasty treat Super friendly and hard workers with the crowds. Tucked away a little off the Main Street but such a cute little outdoor spot. They have seating outside too.

Located in Waikiki, we were looking for a late night dessert spot. MOSA said it was going to be open until midnight, so we decided to walk over. It was a small walk up dessert spot with a colorful exterior and some lights. There was some outdoor seating with tables and chairs around the entrance area. It had a friendly and warm atmosphere. The people working were sweet. We decided to get a cup of the matcha and a strawberry tanghulu. The cup of matcha with peanuts sprinkled on top was good. The matcha was not super strong, and had a more subtle flavor. The peanut flavor matched the matcha flavor in how strong they were. The tanghulu was good as well. Next time, we hope to try the wrap, which seems popular!

So glad to finally have tried out MOSA! I love Taiwan style ice cream and their latest macadamia nut brittle is soooo yummy. The staff was very friendly and our group enjoyed playing Super Smash Bros. while we ate our ice cream. Open late and super popular spot!

Tasty! I wasn't sure what it meant by peanuts, but it's like peanut brittle that's shaved finely and put in top.

And Leonard's Bakery malasadas are popular in Hawaii because they are served fresh, hot, and fluffy, establishing the Portuguese doughnut as a staple island treat since 1952. Founder Leonard Rego pioneered commercializing them, creating a cult following for the crisp-on-the-outside, doughy-on-the-inside treats. There's nothing like a nice, hot, and fresh malasada. The bigger the malasadas size the more airy and fluffy and more bread layers that will be inside. 2. their malasadas always taste fresh and the same quality each time. 3. their malasadas don't feel oily or heavy at all Overall I would highly recommend this place for their Malasadas! I'm so happy to have found them. I can back multiple times on my trip. They also have other desserts too that I have yet to try. However, there are many alternative malasada purveyors throughout Honolulu, so I depended on local vloggers to find the best ones. This one popped up often on YouTube, and as luck would have it, we were dining at The Pig & The Lady on the next block. How calorifically convenient. We took the opportunity to stop by for a pre-dinner snack since they closed at 6PM. It's a cute shop with multiple sweets including quite a selection of housemade ice cream and delectable mouthfuls called Cake Bombs (Photo 10). We decided we would be good and ordered one unfilled Malasada each. Dusted with various sugar flavors, they were just $2.65 a piece. I went for the Coffee, while Jamie chose the daily special, Cinnamon (Photo 6). They were soft and tasty, quite comparable to Leonard's albeit a tad smaller. That wasn't necessarily a bad thing since we had dinner ahead of us. However, we let temptation get the best of us and shared a $5.50 slice of the Ube Haupia Mac Nut Bar, a yummy combination of sweet potato and ube topped with haupia (coconut milk pudding) on a macadamia nut crust (Photo 9). Truth be told, it stole the show from the malasadas. This is clearly one of those places that feel like they're too good to serve you if you're not meeting their aesthetic. Yeah, very Beverly Hills (attempt, but likely wouldn't do well there), kinda "clicky" like vibe, snooty, haughty seeming like vibe, maybe a lil tad bit stuck up, and for the tiny little portion and "big show" , I probably would have liked it somewhat, but also would have felt guilty for paying a fortune to be treated that way lol This place likely won't be around in a year, by the vibe I'd say it's slow times (wonder why). I know I will, happy to spend even more down the road- so many to choose from, trust me this place ain't unique in my experience. I didn't care for the mochi with the sweet soy sauce on it although I know that's what Japan is known for. And the fresh mango mochi was good. The only thing I didn't like was the Lima bean paste inside. I'm not a fan of that. I would recommend eating fast since it's fresh and the wetness of the mango can make the mochi soft and rip.
