We love it here. Lots of friends recommended this spot. Service was amazing. Flavor to all there sweet is great too! They have seating area. Recommend getting mosa and eating it at the beach.
When I first arrived, there was no one at the front register, though I could hear staff talking in the back. A staff member eventually came out, but she returned to the back without greeting me or asking if I needed assistance, despite seeing me looking at the menu. I almost left, but I managed to get her attention and place my order. While the initial customer service was lacking, the food was excellent. Both the coconut and Kona coffee flavors were delicious, and the peanut brittle was a great addition that provided a nice crunch.
Came here with my cousins after they highly recommended it. Cute shop with some outdoor seating. We got a plain ol' chocolate ice cream with mac nuts, a beautiful addition and 2 small crepes with 2 scoops of ice cream and mac nuts as well. What a great idea! Love that extra crunch when eating the crepes. The service was so friendly and SO patient while we were trying to figure out what flavors we wanted in our crepes. Thankfully we beat the crowd that came after we got our order. One of the owners also came around with samples of a product they are wanting to roll out soon so that was a lot of fun to give them our input. Support small business while enjoying a delicious dessert and talking story! Will definitely be back!!
We meant to get the crepe but forgot to order it in that style LOL. But nonetheless, the scoops were absolutely delicious. Service 5/5 Simple, quick, standard. Food 5/5 I had honeydew while my partner had chocolate. The strawberries and flakes were a cute touch and overall really enjoyed it! Ambiance 5/5 A good amount of outdoor seating.
This pricey dessert place seems to be gradually cutting corners. Customers are now getting less of the ingredients, especially the shaved peanuts. In fact, that key ingredient is what makes the burrito wrap so good. Reducing the amount inevitably affects the overall taste and quality of the dessert. I hope this is just an isolated occurrence and not becoming the norm. Otherwise, it may be difficult to justify spending our hard-earned money there.
Husband got this and said it's a 10/10 and to write a review for them! I'm not a fan of peanut butter or nuts but I trust that if he saying it's good, then it's good! If you look at the right side of the building you can see a tv, they let you play ninetendo gaming that you can play

Nice cute little place by UH Manoa campus. They offer 5% off with a UH ID and $1 off if you pay with cash. Their menu is basically 2 options: ice cream with peanuts and strawberries in your choice of a crepe or a cup/bowl. We did one of each. There's a variety of ice cream flavors ranging from ube to honeydew mochi and you can choose up to 3 flavors. You can also choose from peanut drizzle or Mac nut drizzle ($1 more). Once they scoop your ice cream, they have a little station where they scrape the peanut drizzle from a big block directly onto your ice cream. Fun to watch! I got the crepe and chose 2 ice cream flavors: blueberry cheesecake and chocolate. My mom got the cup with matcha ice cream. I really enjoyed the crepe! The peanut drizzle was nicely spread throughout the crepe and added a nice touch to the ice cream. The cup wasn't as good in my opinion though because the peanut drizzle was only sprinkled on top and not as generously spread. I would come again, but I would only recommend ordering the crepe option.
To beat the heat, I will go just about anywhere. Mosa is on Lauula Street in Waikiki, found between Royal Hawaiian and Seaside Avenue. This cute little kiosk has a delicious Taiwanese ice cream crepe that is covered in fresh shaved peanut brittle. There was a lot of seating and some music piped in for atmosphere. It was a nice touch to have access to playing some Super Smash Brothers while you waited. The ube ice cream was delicious and the peanut topping was good enough to convince me to buy a couple of bars for home. Friendly service can be found here and they were so understanding that it was my first time there and I couldn't decide. #bigboyproblems

I've been wanting to try this place for so long and it was worth it! I love peanut brittle so I really don't think I could go wrong here. I wish I tried the crepe but I just want that hungry at the time. The ice cream in a cup with the shaved peanut brittle was super good. They are open late if you get a sweet tooth before bed or after walking around Waikīkī.
Cute ice cream shop tucked away in a random street. I like how they also have a video game area where you can just play Smash Bros on the side. Pretty fun! This was my first time trying, so we got the matcha ice cream, vanilla, and cookies and cream in the crepe style. We also added the macadamia nut topping to it as well. It didn't take too long for our order to prepare since I wasn't too busy. First glance, it generally just looks like an ice cream burrito lol. We were also sharing so it was kinda hard to eat haha. The cookies and cream and vanilla ice cream were pretty good! The matcha ice cream though, it just tastes like the basic matcha ice cream you get at a japanese restaurant, not really quite authentic, but just "matcha flavored". I felt like the crepe itself didn't really elevate the ice cream experience, nor did the macadamia nuts on it. It just felt like an ice cream burrito and not a fancy ice cream crepe. The ice cream was really nice for the weather though.
Such an adorable spot for a quick sweet treat. I ordered a 'Mosa Cup!' with one scoop of vanilla and peanut sprinkle. Such a simple concept, but it is sooo delicious. I feel like the peanut sprinkle helps elevate the flavor considerably, and hits the spot just right. The presentation is adorable as this comes in a cup that looks like a flower pot, with a shovel as a spoon. The workers were kind, and even checked up on us once we finished in the small seating area that they have up front. Definitely recommend to anyone in the area, you won't be disappointed.
The owner, Mickey was the sweetest guy ever. He was very attentive with his customers asking how we are, how we heard of his place, how we liked the sweet treat, and how grateful he was for us coming in. He even greeted us out. This is a cute lil ice cream shop in Waikiki on Lau'ula St. You can easily identify it by an ice cream sculpture parked outside the entrance, and there's some outdoor seating available in the form of patio/picnic tables. There's also a little station next to the order window where you can play some Smash bros, which is pretty cool. I ordered the matcha ice cream, and it came out quickly in a little pink flower pot cup + black shovel spoon. I loved the peanut brittle on the top and at the bottom of the cup, and it was definitely the star of the whole dessert. However, I personally found the matcha ice cream itself kind of disappointing, as the matcha flavor was not that strong, the ice cream itself was kind of icy (had little chunks of ice throughout), and it was a really small scoop for around 7 bucks -- understandably the rent in Waikiki is steep, but it's hard to justify getting it when you can walk a block over and get Matcha Maiko for around the same price. That being said, I wouldn't mind coming back to support a small Taiwanese owned business and trying the other ice cream flavors and offerings, like the tanghulu. Giving four stars since it's one of a kind here but would love to see some improvements to their ice cream! read more
Super cute presentation, wish they would give more of the the peanut topping since that's what this place is really known for. It was more of a sprinkle topping. They should add the option to add extra of the toffee nut. It was very yummy but after that it's just ice cream. Service was nice and it was cool to be able to see them prepping the dessert through the window. Overall the toffee nut was very good but I wish they gave more. If I wanted just ice cream I would go to Dave's right next door. read more
Obsessed with this little dessert place!!!!!! Very simple menu, but delicious items. The ice cream with the brittle topping, in a pot with a shovel was adorable!!!!! It's amazing how everything was so simple, but so great. Can't wait to come back and try more flavors and items. Parking availability isn't the best, so if you're staying in a nearby hotel, potentially look into just walking here. read more
It's as good as Yelpers says it is! We got here at 4pm when they opened and there was no line (hint). Ordered the original (regular size), with coffee, coconut and matcha ice cream. It came out nicely wrapped in a crepe with 2 strawberries on top. Peanut shavings were up and down the crepe. Sooo good. We met one of the owners. He is super nice. Lots of seating outside. There is a video game console you can play. Take a Polaroid and post yourself on the wall. Definitely coming here again. read more
Such a cute little ice cream shop! We stumbled upon this place after seeing their lights from a distance and decided to check it out. We came on a weekday and it was pretty packed for around 10 PM. They are known for adding peanut brittle to the top of their ice cream. I never heard of adding peanut brittle to ice cream so I was intrigued by the combination. It's a small shop, so you can watch them prepare your order. The peanut brittle comes in a large slab and they shave them to order. I'm a sucker for presentation, so I liked how the ice cream came out in a cute little flower pot. The spoon was a little shovel and the heart strawberry was a nice touch. The peanut brittle added texture to the ice cream, which I really enjoyed. It's like adding crushed graham crackers to your ice cream. There wasn't an overwhelming peanut taste either, which I appreciated. Super lively spot with a lot of tourists and locals! There's a little area on the side where you can play video games. read more

New dessert place that is open late! We had dinner at international marketplace so we decided to walk over to check it out. I was very excited to try the mosa wrap which we got vanilla, ube, and coconut. I loved the peanut candy shaving! I wanna go back and try the other ice cream flavors, like strawberry! Mickey took our orders and I saw him asking many other customers how was the dessert. It was a fun and busy environment. Unfortunately the electricity went out after we had finished eating so we didn't get to play smash brothers but we still got to add our photo to the wall. Will be back ! read more
I really enjoyed this place!! I saw a lot of buzz on social media so finally made the trek to find it. Located around the corner. I had to walk from Royal Hawaiian but was able to find it. Maps app is helpful to direct you around Waikiki lol. Ice cream was good and the crepe finish reminded me of a thin mochi ice cream. The peanuts in it gave the dessert a nice crunch and texture when I bit into the wrap. Would definitely come back and want to play Nintendo Switch next time! read more

If you miss Taiwanese street food, you'll be happy to know you can get a popular dessert snack right in Waikiki. Saw this place on IG recently so my friend and I decided to check it out after dinner. This place is nestled behind the Waikiki Shopping Plaza so make sure you walk around and not through because there's no back entrance to WSP. Although this is a small place, it's well lit and there are ice cream images outside so I don't think you'll miss it. We decided to split a mini crepe because we were unsure if we would like it or not. The mini comes with two scoops of ice cream which I think was the perfect serving size. By the time we were finished eating, we wished we had gotten our own. The employees were super friendly and one had even posed for the camera when he noticed I was taking a video. read more
Dessert in Waikiki, Honolulu, Hawaii... I first saw found out about Mosa from Instagram. "Five Foot Foodie" described this Hot New Business with much enthusiasm and information! Located on a side street between Seaside Avenue and Royal Hawaiian Avenue, Mosa is open from 4pm to midnight daily. It's a cozy shop with outdoor seating. Just order at the counter, and they will either bring it to you when finished or call it out when they're really busy. Service is efficient and friendly. Mickey said he's from LA... I asked: What part of LA? Answer: Torrance Ha! I know where that is! I could hear him chatting with all of the other customers! I arrived around 6:30 pm, and they were out of vegan strawberry ice cream and tanghulu (fruit skewers). Shucks! I need to get there earlier! The Coconut ice cream Cup was very good! Creamy ice cream with peanut brittle shavings, topped with fresh strawberry hearts, was a perfect dessert! Thank you! read more

sooo delicious! the coconut and ube paired well together and the peanuts tasted so good. it was flavorful and the strawberries are not too sweet. one of the best dessert spots ive tried in hawaii so far. the service was quick. it's a small shop hidden in a corner and its very popular so it can get crowded. there's a few seating tables but it can get filled up quick. there's also a video game set up you can play on the side. overall, a great dessert spot and I would definitely come back again. read more
Oh my peanut! This new Taiwanese spot is going to be the next big thing for dessert lovers in town. The owners make you feel so welcome and part of the Mosa family. One of the owners (Mickey) came out to personally deliver and get feedback on the mosa. Very friendly and full of good energy. We got the bestseller which is the Mosa Wrap ($12.95) which comes with 2-3 flavors of icecream topped with peanut brittle shavings flown in straight from Taiwan! We picked the flavors: Kona coffee, Ube, coconut. They were all creamy and complemented the peanut shavings inside the crepe. I've never had a dessert quite like this. We shared this, but I recommend getting your own haha. It's really yummy that you don't want to share. They take your picture too-- you can choose to keep or add to the wall of fame! What a nice gesture and memory to cherish (we kept ours). We already plan to come back though and take a new pic to add to their wall! Kind of hidden spot, but it's next to the tourist place called Cuckoo Coconuts that's always playing music and behind the Waikiki Shopping Plaza. Highly recommend! We'll be back again soon! read more

This was absolutely a 5 star dessert but ok i have to say this first. I didnt love that they cut off a portion of the icecream and wrap to put the decorative strawberries on top! I got two flavors wrapped up and one was significantly less because of the cut. So beyond that its actually really good. I love the taiwanese dessert influence but they really improved and updated the concept. Also some random musings, seems like the name of their shop is a play on Formosa which is what the dutch called Taiwan when they first discovered it. read more

MOSA is great, so good we came back two days in a row and would have come back for more if we were staying in longer. The staff was amazing, they come out and bring you your order and checked in on everyone constantly. Perfect treat for a late night sweet tooth. The kids loved this spot especially the free play Nintendo switch. Such a great island vibe and wish we found them sooner. read more

This is the perfect spot for a nice sweet treat, it's also late night too. This is an open-air, outside seating outlet. The owner is super friendly. Service was relatively quick, as I came in 30mins after opening. They specialize in their "Mosa" Wrap, a crepe-style ice cream with peanut sprinkle. Unfortunately, I am one of those "peanut allegy" peeps. However, Mickey made sure to sanitize his area to insure I can still enjoy their crepe-style ice cream wrap. I will say, even though I didn't get the full experience, it was still very enjoyable! The crepe-style wrap with ube and coffee ice cream was definitely the way to go! I'll be back for sure! I will say, it does seem a bit expensive, but worth it given the fact that it's in Waikiki too. A spot to treat yourself for a Friday! read more

One of my favorite places I visited in Waikiki was this place. We wanted to get something sweet, and MOSA was the closest place to our hotel. It was also pretty late in the evening, and Mosa was the only dessert place open and close to us; they were open until midnight. MOSA's bright lights and colors make them stand out. The service was quick even though they were busy. The staff were also friendly and helpful when I asked them about their menu. I got a mini MOSA wrap (crepe style) with coffee, chocolate, and coconut ice cream. Even though it was a mini, I still found it big (not that I am complaining). The ice cream was fresh and light, but my favorite was the peanut shavings. The peanut shaving added texture and crunch to the wrap. Overall, I enjoyed my visit to MOSA. I recommend this place if you're in the area. read more
Awesome awesome dessert night spot in Waikiki! Such a hidden gem, the crepe is thin and the peanuts adds a nice touch to the ice cream. Mickey was super friendly, passionate, and upbeat explaining the business. Got the Kona Coffee and Matcha in a cup with Peanut brittle! I was skeptical about the peanut brittle, but the staff suggested it and it was amazing! Unfortunately my order got lost (which is completely understandable since there were only 3 employees & a long line, but the owner was so sweet and gave us two free tanghulu as compensation! Little while in the wall and the back side of Waikiki plaza. I like the small shack feel. Perfect for a late night dessert after dinner in Waikiki. People working there are great and funny and will joke around with you. You can see them make your ice cream and do the peanut shavings right in front of you. Crepes are delicious and just good plain old ice cream. They do have variety, but I like mine just as is. read more

A pretty unique dessert in the area. I thought it is like the Japanese crepe but it is not. There is a layer of sugar mix with peanut wrapped on top of the ice cream. If you are allergic to peanuts you can skip it, definitely give it a try if you are in the area. read more

Awesome late night spot after swimming! Max and Selena were suuuuper fun and accommodating! We had hella fun and the environment was also a plus. Outdoor kiosk but plenty of seating. The peanut crepe was really yummy and you get to pick up to three different ice cream flavors in it. I was super excited to be able to get Taiwanese peanut ice cream rolls on my trip.
