I started going to Mo's back in June 2012 and can honestly say that the vibe of the place and the quality of the food has really declined over the years since the original owners sold the business. Mo's used to have a country kitchen feel to it, the staff felt like family and the food tasted like it had just been whipped up by the family matriarchs - not anymore. The food tastes like cafeteria food (you'll get the same flavor/quality at Denny's) and the service feels really impersonal (I've felt more welcome at my local In N Out). It would be nice if they revisited the old formula that made Mo's phenomenal years ago when I first started going but only time will tell. My coworkers and I got together for a team bonding breakfast outing this morning and someone recommended this place. The down home decor was a red flag that this was going to be mediocre food and it sure lived up to that warning. I ordered the Wise Guy omelette. It said it came with Italian sausage and pesto on top along other ingredients but 1) the sausage was mild and nearly indistinguishable from the mushrooms. 2) It came out with marinara on top, not pesto. Plus the whole thing lacked any salt. Very bland. The complimentary coffee cake was dry and had no crunchy top. Underwhelming. The service was good though. Friendly staff... "Oh, yeah, I would have totally sent you there." This was the response from a local business owner, when I mentioned we just had breakfast at Mo's. Five stars: 1 star for the expansive and appealing menu 1 star for the amazing service (speedy as well as warm and funny) 1 star for the comfy indoor space and patio seating on warm days 1 star for the complimentary coffee cake 1 star for great breakfast entrees and sides For dinner, I always find Redmond a bit challenging, but for breakfast there are several places where I have consistently great food and service. Mo's is now tied for the top spot. How do I explain? Mo's just gets it. I wouldn't be deterred by a line out front, because they move people through the restaurant in such an efficient fashion (it what Disneyland calls a 'fast loader' ride). As soon as you sit down, they are plying you with drinks and complimentary coffee cake. Once you place your order from the large menu, as well as daily specials, the food arrives quite quickly. And, not only is the entree great, but I also enjoy their sides (Hashbrowns, O'Brien Potatoes, Fruit, or Grits and your choice of White Toast, Whole Wheat, Rye, Sourdough, English Muffin, Biscuits and Gravy or Bagel). Portions of both are more than generous. The service is almost too good. It is a team effort with multiple people walking around offering refills of coffee and water, clearing dishes, boxing up leftovers, etc. In fact, on several occasions we had multiple offers within minutes of each other all by smiling employees. I almost wish I had one of those coasters from Fogo de Chão where you tell the staff whether you need service or to skip your table. When I visited in the summer, I enjoyed sitting outside on the small patio. This fall, the restaurant had fun Halloween decor in addition to the regular country cute items. The highlight was the ghost gliding back-and-forth over the tables. My only minor quibble is that I wish they had fresh jam, rather than than the plastic Smuckers tubs, but you can't have everything. For a more relaxed vibe, there is One Street Down Cafe, and Original Pancake House is always stellar, but Mo's Egg House will be my spot for breakfast on every trip to Redmond. read more

From the moment I called in my order, I felt like I already loved it. They are so kind and welcoming. I ordered a sandwich since it was lunchtime, it was a chicken salad which I don't typically order. Not being a normal lover of chicken salad, I never thought I'd say this but the chicken salad sandwich blew my mind. Great mix, perfect ratio of chicken salad, and delicious bread. Fries were ridiculously good. When I went inside, the ambiance was adorable and everything you'd want from a place like this. Again, everyone was so nice that worked there. Couldn't get in to One Door Down on the holiday, so checked Yelp and decided to try Moe's for brunch. Very cute country feel with very friendly and attentive service. I tried the Huevos Rancheros with fruit. I was puzzled while ordering when the server asked if I wanted extra beans. When it arrived I discovered that, while delicious and perfectly prepared, it was a bit on the small side. The other meals were very generous portions however. My son had the scramble which was served with hash browns, biscuits and gravy. His girlfriend had the sausage, mushroom and Swiss omelet with fruit and toast and my husband ordered the veggie omelet with salad and toast. Everyone left happy and satisfied. Little known gem (to us) in Redmond Oregon. Tucked away in a strip mall Mo's Egg House is an instant classic. The environment, ambiance, decor and staff is all very inviting. Typical of a popular breakfast joint, you walk into a cozy restaurant with the hustle and bustle of people reading the newspapers, coffee being sipped and in this case, COMPLIMENTARY coffee cake being served. I love this small not a chain restaurants!! We came Sunday at 10:30, had a 30 minute wait, then was promptly seated and our waiter was Vincent! He took our drink order and brought out small in house coffee cakes which was delicious and had quickly disappeared! Our order was crab bennies, traditional bennies, and Reuben with fries! As three golf widows for the day, we also met the clean plate club with honors to the chefs!! Menu has something that surely will conquer all. We dropped in around 8:30 on a Sunday morning. They were getting pretty full but had a couple of tables outside. Service was prompt but not rushed. Given how full the place was, we were anticipating a bit of a wait for our food, but it quickly showed up and was lovely. (although I wasn't a fan of the grits, but I have southern family who take grits to a different level, so meeting that mark is hard for anyone in the PNW.) The menu was lovely and very deep. Yes, everything focused on eggs, but so many different ways to do it. Pretty sure we'll be back when we're in town. read more

One of the best brunches we ever had! We stopped here on a long road trip from CA up to British Columbia in Canada. The food was amazing. I had huevos rancheros, which I usually get any time they are offered on the menu, and they were awesome. Fresh tasty salsa. Perfect eggs. And they had a nice hot pepper sauce at the table that went great with the food. The hash browns were the best ever. Nice and crunchy.
