Nice sized breakfast for a reasonable price. The kids meal for my daughter was a better value, wish I could have ordered it myself.

What a fantastic breakfast spot! Great service, great location (downtown Redmond), and the food is…read moredelicious. I had a half order of biscuits and gravy (everything made from scratch, that was obvious!)...delightfully spicy and the perfect amount (still had leftovers!). My husband had the pancake, eggs, and bacon - perfect portion and delicious pancake! We had to get some cinnamon rolls to go...if you like cinnamon rolls, you need to snag one, totally worth the extra calories!

I know on a Sunday at 10am, there were lots of indoor and outdoor tables available. I know this because I saw them, and then they tried to put me, a solo diner, at a table in the corner of the main "hallway" between the dining areas where two seats face a wall. There would constantly be the entire restaurant at my back, every new diner walking behind me, everyone leaving would be behind me. Every wait person walking back and forth, completely while I stared at the wall. I'm really unsure of why anyone would ever want to sit in this seat. And that's where they wanted me. With LOTS of tables available. I didn't sit there. I was "upgraded" to the same setup, only this time I got to be with my back to a family of 10, reunioning, with lots of screaming kids. That's cool. They need to eat too. But I love that I get selected to be the intimate companion in this tiny room with lots of other tables available. Like the two 2-tops in the front room. Wait staff largely ignored me after someone dumped off water, got drinks for the big table, left, came back, took their order. And that took a while because all that time they had to look at the menu meant they had to ask about six items and then consult the 3 year old for their opinion. Which seemed to take a lot of interpretation. Then the wait staff left. She did touch my shoulder (since my back was to this table, I couldn't see. Which did not make me feel good, frankly) and said she'd be back. She did eventually after taking care of the table behind. I ordered the chicken fried steak with gravy on the side, eggs over hard, and a biscuit upgrade. The screaming child provided ambient noise. That was lovely, especially with the little room I was in reverberating the concert since the parents felt this was a valuable addition to the breakfast. So my food did come pretty fast, I'll say that. The eggs were underseasoned but okay. The biscuit was pretty good and the potatoes were definitely fried potatoes. I saw four slivers of onion in them but they were unseasoned fried potatoes. The chicken fries steak...well, if it didn't come from frozen, I'd be surprised. It was food. It wasn't horrible. The wait staff did refill my soda without asking, and gave me a to go cup, which was really nice. Overall, the experience wasn't great and the food wasn't good enough for me to come back. That said, I'm an out of town visitor and opted for this place on my one time to choose where to eat in Redmond. I wish it had been better.

BEST omelet around, best pancakes around, and the best bacon around. They serve real butter at room temperature so you can actually butter your pancakes (it's the little things), as well as warming your real maple service. Like extra cheese on your omelet? No need to do that at OHOP! They do that with every omelet they make and it is generous! There is often a wait on werkend mornings, of course, but it usually goes fairly quickly and there is a comfortable waiting area with plenty of seating and sunshine. Enjoy your OHOP visit. You won't be disappointed.

Packed house, but we were seated about 20 minutes later. Not bad huh? We ordered about 20 minutes later. Hubby and I had the 2 Egg and Sausage link Breakfast with their Deelicious Fried Potatoes instead of the customary 3 ( Yes 3) Pancakes! Grandson the Eggs Michael. I've had that before and it's a "Must Git". Anyway, it took about 40 minutes for our order to arrive, but it was piping hot and so yummy. I had a side of gravy too for my Potatoes. So freaking tasty! I didn't take any pics, but I would recommend TOPH any time you're in Redmond. Ps.... Great service on a very busy day.

My children love the horchata here. We've had the halibut ceviche, burritos, carne asada plate, steak salad, and others. One small caveat is, I wish they served fresh fruit with the Mac and cheese instead of fries for the kids meal. Everyone is always happy, prompt, and just all around enjoyable to go here. Thank you for making it a fun place for adults and also a family friendly restaurant. Note: I can't believe I didn't take pics of the margs and other food. I'll update next time.

The service was okay, but the overall experience felt a little confusing. The atmosphere had more of a buffet-style feel, while the menu seemed to go in several directions. A lot of the food leaned Mexican, but they also offer steaks, pastas, and burgers to match the steakhouse name, which made it hard to get a clear sense of the restaurant's identity. That said, the Mexican dishes we had were delicious and really stood out. Honestly, leaning more into the Mexican restaurant direction might be their best path because that food was excellent. Overall, good food, just a bit unclear on the concept. As a steakhouse: As a Mexican restaurant:

I had another place in mind but was met with a boarded up building and Country Nook was across the street, so I checked it out. I was greeted within seconds of walking in and seated promptly with a menu. The booth was clean and the table free from stickiness. Bonus points! Being a certified lover of biscuits and gravy I decided to try the breakfast with that, eggs and hash browns. The food came within five minutes and it was really nice looking. the gravy had a slightly off white thing going on, but the flavor was excellent. Gravy does not have to be stark white to be good. The biscuit was just average, something just a little more special or maybe fresh would have put it over the top. It was not bad at all, just the gravy cries for something above average to be under it. Eggs were cooked the way I asked and the hash browns were very good. The service was really friendly, they checked on me often, but not an annoying amount of times. Prices were very reasonable and the rest room was clean. Could not ask for anything more. I liked it so much I came back the next day for the pancakes, which are exceptional!!! Marking Country Nook on my return to list.

After being seated, we waited about 10 minutes for our server to come take our drink order but by that time, we were ready to order our food already. I had a soup and half sandwich combo. The only soup offered was loaded baked potato, which I didn't mind since it's one of my favs. For my half sandwich I went with a BLT on sourdough. My friend had the Eggs Benedict. Luckily our food came out at about average timing after placing our order. My soup was good-- thick and creamy, cheesy, and had a decent amount of bacon. My half BLT had nice crisp bacon and fresh lettuce and tomato and hit the spot. My friend said his eggs bene was average and wished the sauce had more flavor. Even though our service was slow, it was because our server was also the hostess and dishwasher. She apologized for the wait and thanked us for our patience. I totally understand what she was going through and it was unfortunate the restaurant was understaffed even when there was hardly anyone there for a Sunday afternoon.
