    Brioche French Toast Combo

Had an online order for French toast with scrambled eggs, sausage, and hash browns. Food was cold when I got it even though I watched them put it in the bag. French toast were the end pieces of the bread they were soggy and cold. Didn't come with powdered sugar, butter, or syrup. No napkins or silverware. Super small portions for the eggs and hash browns. I want a refund. Not going here again

    Breakfast Burrito

The service was excellent as was the food. Very clean, including the bathroom, and nice atmosphere. My server, Felicia, was excellent!

Were here couple days ago in our road trip. Interior looks good and lot of spaces, but drinks and food are not. We've ordered cappuccino and cakes. Cappuccino was super sweet and we didn't drink it. Cakes with local berries were sweet too. So if you like sugar too much this place definitely for you but we are not.

My first review of this Shari's location was A-OK because I had a couple trips in a row where my food always came out cold :( I've been giving it more chances lately though and really happy I have because they've more than made up for it. I've always loved Shari's and their food, my go-to always being the stuffed hashbrowns. This is also the only restaurant chain I've found that makes biscuits and gravy the way I like, and all around I'm mainly just a huge fan of their breakfast (but I enjoy their sandwiches a lot as well). My most recent visit I went in alone and sat at the little bar for the first time. It was actually kinda fun sitting up there and watching things work and service was awesome. I ordered their Chicken BLT sandwich which was delicious but HUGE!!! Everyone is really friendly here and if you've had a bad experience I'd highly recommend giving this location another chance because I think it's definitely improved lately. My last 5 or so trips I have had absolutely NO complaints!!

    This is what we ordered

Sharis's is like the Wish of restaurants in Redmond in terms of what you order vs. What you get. They don't even try sometimes. I have on occasion tried ordering from them for breakfast meetings. I ordered an impossible sausage burrito and they used link sausage in it, and pecan cinnamon rolls, which come warm with frosting, pecans, and caramel sauce, and they put stale over cooked buns in, no frosting, pecans or caramel. They were disgusting.

Not much meat in the prime rib dip.

I arrived around 11am on a Thursday to find the place absolutely packed with people! As a lone diner, they were able to fit me right in at the counter seating. I'm not a big eater for breakfast, so I was very relieved when they said they could do a half order of biscuits and gravy. Thank goodness! When they brought out the "half order", the singular biscuit was HUGE. And the bowl of gravy was generous. The biscuit was like a giant version of my Southern born grandmother's biscuits, and the gravy was very traditional and tasty. I looked around at my fellow diners' plates, and the portions all seemed incredible, especially for the prices I saw on the menu. The guy waiting the counter was super friendly and fun to chat with, as was another local to my right. This is 100% that local favorite breakfast place, as evidenced by the packed restaurant at 11am on a Thursday. It's down home and real. Nothing fancy, but the food is honest.

I know on a Sunday at 10am, there were lots of indoor and outdoor tables available. I know this because I saw them, and then they tried to put me, a solo diner, at a table in the corner of the main "hallway" between the dining areas where two seats face a wall. There would constantly be the entire restaurant at my back, every new diner walking behind me, everyone leaving would be behind me. Every wait person walking back and forth, completely while I stared at the wall. I'm really unsure of why anyone would ever want to sit in this seat. And that's where they wanted me. With LOTS of tables available. I didn't sit there. I was "upgraded" to the same setup, only this time I got to be with my back to a family of 10, reunioning, with lots of screaming kids. That's cool. They need to eat too. But I love that I get selected to be the intimate companion in this tiny room with lots of other tables available. Like the two 2-tops in the front room. Wait staff largely ignored me after someone dumped off water, got drinks for the big table, left, came back, took their order. And that took a while because all that time they had to look at the menu meant they had to ask about six items and then consult the 3 year old for their opinion. Which seemed to take a lot of interpretation. Then the wait staff left. She did touch my shoulder (since my back was to this table, I couldn't see. Which did not make me feel good, frankly) and said she'd be back. She did eventually after taking care of the table behind. I ordered the chicken fried steak with gravy on the side, eggs over hard, and a biscuit upgrade. The screaming child provided ambient noise. That was lovely, especially with the little room I was in reverberating the concert since the parents felt this was a valuable addition to the breakfast. So my food did come pretty fast, I'll say that. The eggs were underseasoned but okay. The biscuit was pretty good and the potatoes were definitely fried potatoes. I saw four slivers of onion in them but they were unseasoned fried potatoes. The chicken fries steak...well, if it didn't come from frozen, I'd be surprised. It was food. It wasn't horrible. The wait staff did refill my soda without asking, and gave me a to go cup, which was really nice. Overall, the experience wasn't great and the food wasn't good enough for me to come back. That said, I'm an out of town visitor and opted for this place on my one time to choose where to eat in Redmond. I wish it had been better.

I had another place in mind but was met with a boarded up building and Country Nook was across the street, so I checked it out. I was greeted within seconds of walking in and seated promptly with a menu. The booth was clean and the table free from stickiness. Bonus points! Being a certified lover of biscuits and gravy I decided to try the breakfast with that, eggs and hash browns. The food came within five minutes and it was really nice looking. the gravy had a slightly off white thing going on, but the flavor was excellent. Gravy does not have to be stark white to be good. The biscuit was just average, something just a little more special or maybe fresh would have put it over the top. It was not bad at all, just the gravy cries for something above average to be under it. Eggs were cooked the way I asked and the hash browns were very good. The service was really friendly, they checked on me often, but not an annoying amount of times. Prices were very reasonable and the rest room was clean. Could not ask for anything more. I liked it so much I came back the next day for the pancakes, which are exceptional!!! Marking Country Nook on my return to list.
