This place was my go-to my freshmen year when I lived on campus and didn't have a car. I fell in love with the Iberian burger and just kept going back. This is still one of my favorite places. I love this place! I call in 10 minutes before I arrive and they always answer and have my food ready when I get there. I love that they have many types of cheeses, which is my favorite. All of their food is SO fresh too. My only complaint is that they go crazy with how much sauce they put on. So if you want a regular amount of mustard or fry sauce MAKE SURE you tell them or your burger will be drowning in sauce. Other than that they have FABULOUS burgers. This is the best burger in Logan, and maybe anywhere. If you like a basic cheeseburger, you are in luck. If you want something more exotic, you are even luckier. The Yucatan, Hawaiian and Iberian were all fantastic. The onion rings and fries were cooked to perfection, and the sweet potato fries are amazing. Don't know what all the hype is about. It's really just alright. Was really excited new place on campus was opening, but got there and the prices are extremely ridiculous. Paying 10 bucks for a grilled cheese and a pretty small thing of fries, better be the best thing ever. Sadly, it's extremely greasy. I think the Hawaiian burger is the best burger I have had in my life. So many great flavors in one bite. My son told us we had to try Morty's because the Kimchi burger was the best burger he has ever had. The burgers were served pink so if that isn't your thing, make sure you tell them. The fries were great but the onion rings were stellar. I can't wait to go back and try the scone fries with their raspberry sauce and/or honey butter. The only negative I could find is the soda was a little flat and we had to wait to reset the machine but since I was the only one in the party drinking water it didn't bother my meal. read more

Wow. The Hawaiian burger is amazing! Who would think of putting bacon, jalapeños, homemade pineapple relish, pepper jack cheese, chipotle mayo, teriyaki sauce and lettuce on a hamburger? Well, they did and it was amazing. I lost track of the napkins I used. Meat for the hamburger was freshly made patty. Love that! Everything was fresh, place was clean and welcoming. Super delicious burgers and fries. I got the classic American burger and hubs got the kimchi burger. Both good. Big juicy patties with crispy crunchy caramelized edges. Great pickles (this from a dill pickle fiend). Regular fries are almost battered and arrived hot, crispy, and well-seasoned. Sweet potato fries are the same. Fry sauce is good - more on the mayo side with a teeny bit of heat. Ketchup is a little strange but only strange people like me would notice. Patio space is beautiful on a summer day. read more

We were traveling through on a road trip, and stopped by here because of the good ratings and the vegan options. My husband had a Reuben sandwich which he thought was excellent, and I had the 3 bean burger. It also is very good, although I added ketchup and mustard rather than the Mayo mixture they offered. I am a big fan of this place. Their burgers always taste fresh. You feel like you're eating quality ingredients. They always do a great job personalizing your order when you request it. They also have great coupons and discounts on apps like Pocket Points. I try eat there at least once a week during the USU academic year. Great Burger!!! I'm not sure which one I had because I had them surprise me, but it was delicious! The fries were cooked to perfection and the staff that helped us were super friendly and willing to make suggestions. They do need to move to a bigger location. We went at 3:30 in the afternoon and it was pretty busy I can't imagine trying to find a table during lunch or dinner rush. I'm excited to go back again and try some of the other options! This is a review from a vegetarian perspective since the meat burgers seem to get rave reviews. Unfortunately, my little Buddha patty did not measure up to my expectations, being dry, bland, and a mushy texture that barely held together. Sweet potato fries were good, but when aren't they? Fairly pricy for a small portion, too. I substituted that veg patty in to the kimchi style burger-at least, that's what I ordered, but they just gave me the regular little Buddha, no kimchi, BBQ sauce, etc. I ordered online and thought that having everything written down would make it easier for the cooks, but I guess not. They immediately fixed the situation when I showed them. Honestly, I expected better service but the taste and value were bigger problems than the order mix-up. read more

My favorite place to eat, I'm a USU student and this tastes a lot better, and is less expensive than anything else on campus. Their burgers are better than In 'N Out's, almost on par with Shake Shack if you know your burger joints. If you are anywhere near Logan or live there, their food is a must try at least once. I love Morty's burgers and sweet potato fries. They also have some unique burgers that you can't find anywhere else in Logan. I'd say their burgers are top 5 in Cache Valley as well. It has a fun atmosphere to it, mostly because it's on the USU campus and it has a college feel to it. If it's warm, go eat up on the roof. My four stars is because of the price. You don't get a ton of food, and you'll probably spend 12 bucks or so for a medium-sized burger, fries and drink. read more

I went with my dad and my roommate for an early dinner. We were burning for a burger. We picked Morty's because it looked like a local burger hot spot. I got the kimchi burger and it was pretty good--but a little messy. The kimchi wanted to slide out every bite I took. The sweet potato fries came in a big portion but they were only ok in flavor. Next time, I'm gonna get a quinoa salad. Those looked good. They had live music on the second patio floor but all the seating was taken, so we ate on the patio downstairs and could still hear the music very clearly. read more

I've had the Thursday burger & fries special many times (I would not pay full price), and the tomato soup and grilled cheese once. The "Thai" tomato soup tastes mostly of coconut milk, and the grilled cheese is bland and greasy. The standard burger is all right: better than most of the fast food chains. Sadly, in Logan, the competition is not stiff. The fries are coated in some sort of strange batter or something, so if you're looking for a well-executed classic French fry, this is not the place. read more

Morty's has amazing fries and onion rings. Just stopped in with my wife for quick bite while riding our bike to Bear Lake. The burgers are delicious. Hand formed patties grilled to caramelized perfection. Fresh toppings and amazing buns that hold it all together. This prices are slightly higher than run of the mill burger joints but they put the price difference into the ingredients, preparation and quality of the staff.
