So gross! The vegetables are canned or frozen. I was very displeased when I ordered a what I thought would be a delicious GF meal! Yuck read more

Display used to be really put together, but it's gone downhill. I just called for a takeout order. Waited on the line for five minutes. Came back on for two minutes. Went back off for five more minutes. This place has become a joke. They need to remodel so it doesn't smell like butt jam in there and they need to accommodate the takeout orders. It's really too bad because I love the food in this place. read more

As always delicious. Turkey steak sandwich cooked to perfection. Pit ham, wonderful. I'm sad they took out the Powerade and crystal lite. Service. We got our meals really fast. And the kids working were very nice . The ambiance is very casual and comfortable. read more

Asking for tips? For what? Standing in line to order your food, being handed a cup to fill your drinks? Or because someone brings your food out on a fast food tray? It must be for the tray. The food is the same as it has been for the last 20 years. It's usually pretty decent and hot. read more

My family has been coming here for years! It's classic comfort food with friendly service and good prices. We love the turkey steaks and the home cooked style food. Food is overall really good. Take out advice: We took our most recent order to go and by the time we got down the street, all the fries were soggy from the take out containers. So I'd either recommend going with something that can handle the steam or be prepared with an air fryer. read more

So disappointed- picked up 4 glutten free rolls this evening for our dinner tomorrow. They were cold, hard and looked like small hickey pucks. The 4 rolls were smashed in a little sack. Definitely not the fluffy glutten free dinner rolls I bought for Thanksgiving. To top it off they were $13.00. We'll worth it if they were the rolls I bought in November, but not tonight. read more

I went their on a Son and Mother day date and it was amazing! My mom took me out to eat, even though I paid. I recommend this place for a more semi formal date, or if you're just looking to eat a little more old school. read more

Their Veggie burger is soooo yummy! I don't tend to like most vegetarian options at restaurants, so when I find something I like, it's a big deal for me! My only problem is that there's tables seem to always be dirty even when it's not busy. Bit I'd say the friendly staff and yummy food makes up for it :) read more

I had a wonderful lunch here. It's a couple dollars more expensive than your usual fast food place, but it's a fee I'm well willing to pay for real genuine food. The wait was a minute for the food to arrive, but nothing terrible. The staff was friendly and helpful. The honey butter was awesome and everything on my plate was hot when it arrived. The restaurant is a little cramped but well kept and pleasant. I would definitely come back again. read more

JTO is always amazing and delicious! We love the turkey steak and turkey steak sandwich.

Always good food and good service Herr, they're definitely a bit slow at times, but I'm always satisfied when I leave! Such a cute, cozy little Cafe! read more

The breaded chicken sandwich here rocks! The sweet potatoes waffle fries are the best. The sourdough steak sandwich was okay, get the chicken instead. The people working at the online orders were very prompt and kept us updated on the status of the order. When we noticed part of our order was incorrect they quickly fixed it and we were in and out in less than 8 minutes. Service is top notch, food was good, nothing more to say. read more

Slightly better than school lunches, much worse than hospital food. Its all cisco institutional bland fare. Low enough prices, great service, kind staff. Im talking about their meals are canned, frozen, tasteless, dead stuff. My dads in a nursing home. This is nursing home or maybe jail food. Clean place, sterile, like a bleached waiting room. The sandwiches and salads looked ok on the menu.....but so did the frozen reheated fried chicken dinner that was more bland than a TV dinner. but its clean, nice Mormon folks around, kids and family friendly place. read more

Ordered take out, didn't get what I ordered. I ordered a turkey steak but got the turkey roast, tasted like canned meat, the augratin potatoes were soooooo salty we couldn't eat them. We usually enjoy eating here, but today was deplorable...... read more

We make sure we stop at Juniper every time we are in Logan! My favorite item is the turkey salad croissant. I am always impressed with the freshness and flavor. They have both Pepsi and Coke as well as Iron Port on tap. My ONLY issue is the price. Kids meals are $6.50 for not much food and the amount they charge to make your sandwich a combo is a little much in my opinion. (My sandwich was $5.87 but it jumped to $10.07 for a small handful of fries and a drink.) They were insanely busy but got food out quickly and stayed on top of the tables. read more

The food wasn't great, I mean how can you mess up a sandwich? And that Crystal Light Raspberry lemonade, it literally made us all gag! Won't be returning. read more

This place has really gone down hill. Was really good, then just ok, now it's just bad. Just had a ham that was so dry it made me dehydrated, vegetables that were straight from the freezer bag of the grocery store, zero seasoning. Think school cafeteria food but for $20 a head. Hard pass read more

The best Gluten-free food in the valley! I love Juniper take out. They have delicious home-style foods and they use quality ingredients and have a competent owner who is heavily involved in the process. I love the Juniper steak and the loaded baked potatoes. But my favorite ? The Deverle's Seasoning. They even have Iron-port on fountain! Wait times are to be expected as food is cooked to order. But it is worth the wait. Call ahead and get it to go! read more

Not a bad place to grab a bite. Went here with a family member who likes this restaurant. I placed my order and was given a number. I received my order approximately 8 to 10 minutes later. I had the fish sandwich and fries. Restaurant was probably 1/2 full when we stopped to eat. Fries were warm at best but the fish sandwich was pretty good. Service was right up there and all of the staff were friendly and professional. My family member enjoys their Gluten Free menu items. Serving sizes are average. Another place that serves on paper plates when dining in. read more

We went to Juniper Take-out last night to celebrate my son's birthday. We arrived at about 8:10 PM. My food was fine, but at about 8:50 (they close at 9:00), the staff began frantically putting chairs up on the tables around us so they could sweep. They were literally cleaning up around and under us as we ate. They might as well have yelled, "Get out! We want to go home!" As we walked over to refill our drinks, the staff swooped in to put our chairs up on our table. This was prior to 9:00. A 9:00 closing time should mean that additional customers aren't admitted after this time. It shouldn't mean that already-dining customers are made to feel unwanted and rushed. We gathered up our food and went outside. At promptly 9:00 (maybe even 8:59), the lights were turned off, and we observed employees already leaving the facility from the west door. In general, I feel that the staff last night was grouchy and impatient. The treatment we received spoiled what was supposed to be a fun occasion. We have been customers for many years, but this experience left a sour taste in my mouth. I'll be in no hurry to go back for their over-priced food. Moral to the story: Don't go to Juniper Take-out during the last hour before close. read more

Food is basically canned and heated up. Really bad. I make a better meal at home and I can't cook! Don't waste your money - even fast food is better! read more

I have always thought the food here was excellent, however recently had a large order of both the beef and the fried chicken. The chicken was absolutely flavorless no seasoning at all and the beef was bottom round sliced fairly thick, and overdone. The other sides were fine and the rolls so delicious. The service was really great and they were prepared and on time . Expected more from this place in terms of flavorful food. read more

Horrible the fries are always soft and soggy and way undercooked, they never take your order right and today I ordered a hamburger and they gave me a plain patty with nothing else, don't eat there it is a big waste read more

Locally owned, great food, excellent service. I've eaten here for many years and always enjoy the food. My favorite item on the menu is the Turkey Steak Sandwich combo. You can't find another sandwich quite like it. Love it!!! The jumbo fries are hard to beat! See pic below. Juniper is very popular among locals; especially the older crowd. Their traditional "meat and potatoes" style items on the menu attract a loyal crowd of seniors who know quality when they see it. My grandpa loves him some rainbow trout - Me as well! My wife loves the tomato macaroni soup. Their proprietary recipe is not recorded on paper or shared with anybody; not even the employees. The owners make it fresh daily. It's a must try if you love soup. In addition to the excellent food, Juniper has quality service. The employees are always upbeat, happy, and professional. Plan on waiting longer than a typical fast food wait time. Juniper prepares your food after you order - not before. Strongly recommend for anyone looking for traditional home style food. read more

Quite an interesting menu - everything from ribeye to salmon nuggets. Very reasonably priced and they have Iron Port on tap, which was only one of the unusual artisan offerings - a lot of choices not normally found on tap. Husband had sourdough steak sandwich w/fries. Fries were very good, and their fry sauce seemed to have more seasoning than the ones we've had. He loved the sandwich. I had the roasted pit ham plate w/green beans, au gratin potatoes and a roll. The roll was a yeast roll served with sweet butter. The green beans were bland, and the ham dry, but the au gratin potatoes were amazing! Lot of cheese and flavor. Meal came with a small dipping portion of something between the texture apple pie filling and fried apples. I used it to dip my ham and it made a huge difference. Very busy place; meal took about 15 min to arrive after placement. We'll probably be back, just so I can try some of the soups and the salmon nuggets. :) read more

This is the second time I've been here and both times have been amazing. The food was prepared how I expected it to be, the fries were amazing. Honestly had high expectations for this place, the wife said it was really good. We got here and the service left much to be desired and the food was honestly horrible. It reminded me of canned dog food. read more

This used to be one of my favorites in Logan. The menu has been reduced and the quality has suffered. I'm not sure if it because of the pandemic but I hope they get their groove back. read more

I called in a burger for take out and all that was on was onions, pickles and mustard NO lettuce or tomato not even ketchup! I called them and the girl says oh if you order a burger that is how they come and you have to order a deluxe... SERIOULSY?! If I were to had ordered a deluxe then I would think they would of added on something like onions and pickles... I still attempted to eat the burger and it flat out it was just very plain not much taste to the burger on a cold bun and honestly one of the worst burgers I have had. Someone else that ordered with me got the mac and cheese and it was so bad she didn't even eat and just threw it away. I will NEVER in the history of ever order a burger or Mac N Cheese from them again... read more

I came here for lunch with my staff from work on a Wednesday around noon. Although it looked semi-busy, the wait wasn't bad and everyone got their food in a timely manner. I ordered a half order of the turkey salad and sweet potato fries, which came on a bigger plate than I expected. Both were filling and the turkey salad tasted similar to chicken salad with a nice texture amongst the celery, grapes and crushed almonds. It wasn't the most amazing lunch ever, but still hit the spot for being local fast food! My co-workers enjoyed their meals, too. I'd come back again. read more

Overpriced. Super long wait for takeout. Food quality isn't impressive. Nice to have somewhere in Logan that offers homestyled food.

My wife and I love this place! The staff are friendly, patient, and helpful! My wife always gets the turkey salad sandwich, which is amazing! I always get something new and am never disappointed! They have desserts, soups, salads, burgers, and various other meals. It's an awesome environment and makes you feel at home. Plus you can always call in food to carry out! read more

This is a popular place right in the heart of downtown Logan. The other reiviewers are right about the pricing. It is a very spendy option for what you get. This had me leaning towards a three star rating, but then I thought about the tomato macaroni soup. Seriously worth the additional star just for that. They serve all kinds of different comfort foods and the food has always been top quality. I usually go with the ground round beef steak. You could do a lot worse in Logan. read more

The food is usually pretty solid, but the prices are extravagant. The soda machine blows too. I would rather go to somewhere fancier if I'm going to pay $15 for a decent portioned meal. My friends love this place, and whenever I go I get the grilled cheese because it is one of the only meals under $10. read more

My family ordered some takeout for dinner and we were extremely disappointed. We got some sandwiches and they were all bland. There were many toppings included in the sandwiches, the 'steak and cheese' was actually just a hamburger patty with a slice of cheese. We were expecting something more like a Philly Cheese Steak sandwich. It was also really difficult trying to order over the phone because the menu they have online apparently isn't the current menu at the store, so we had to try and communicate with the employees what would be similar to the things we wanted from the old menu. read more

Gluten free paradise for those missing out on "real" foods - like turkey steaks! Sweet Baby Jesus... was just there, and I'm already craving one again. (Darn manfriend who is originally from the area introduced me to turkey steaks 5 years ago, and then about 4 years ago, I had to go GF due to migraines - I have missed them so!) They have a HUGE gluten free menu including sandwiches, dinners (GRAVY!!!) and desserts. Also, they do NOT charge extra for the GF menu, as most places do! Even have GF dinner rolls (swoon!)! Being from Seattle, I thought the prices were decent - didn't seem out of the ball park for a good meal from a family owned place. I like to support the local small business owners, even if I pay a $1 or 2 extra for my meal. Also, get an Iron Port from the soda machine - it's a Dr. Pepper with vanilla - quite the tasty little concoction! read more

Warning, blunt honesty ahead ;) ...Juniper is homestyle cooking done bland as can be. Only thing I enjoy here are the steak fries. Everything else is dated and average, then fried in canola oil. Flavors not much better than fast food, served in a cramped dining room with restaurant price tags. $16 bucks for fast food rainbow trout? No thanks. Yet the line of old folks waiting to order usually goes to the door. I've had to stomach too many meals here over the years. Meals I never finish, take home and eventually end up in my garbage. Luckily my parents had a recent taste bud awakening and haven't dragged us back since. Maybe my grandma was just an amazing cook? I dunno. But I can whip up much tastier home cookin' from her old recipes than I can get here. So I'll leave Juniper to the elderly and the taste impaired, and happily drive right on by. UPDATE -- After another stop, turkey steak sandwich is bland, but the sweet potato waffle fries are darn good. Service was friendly, though the packed dining room delayed our food a while. I upped it to 2 stars. read more

We went here before the football game to grab a bite. Service was great, nice atmosphere, but the food was tasteless and overpriced. They used to have gluten free fried chicken but have stopped because of difficulty with cross contamination. A simple fix is to train the staff. The "steak," for $13, is a pounded out hamburger, at best. We were pretty disappointed. 4 of us ate for $63. read more
