The 16 oz. Prime Cajun Ribeye Steak hits every time
Jasmine P.

Hubby took me to have a celebration for another milestone at my job and of course Morton's was my go to! The service was amazing per usual, food hit the spot and atmosphere A1! Cajun rib eye had the perfect amount of seasoning and cooked at the perfect temp. My steak was paired with non other than the lobster Mac and cheese. The lobster to noodle and cheese ratio was perfect and didn't disappoint. Morton's will always be my go to for steak! They never miss the mark!

We came on a food tour with Jax Tours. We started out strong at Morton's. We had a chef's tasting that included pork belly, bacon-wrapped scallops, and coconut shrimp--everything was delicious. The greens with dressing was also great too.

Went to Morton's to experience their bubbles and bites special. It includes 2 sliders of either chicken or beef, truffle fries, and a choice between champagne or a vodka martini for $30. I chose the beef and my friend chose chicken and we split it. The fries were ok. But they do give you A LOT. Now I tried the chicken slider, it was delicious. It had some kind of pickled veggie on the bottom, it was so good. My only take away is the chicken to bread ratio was off, so I did get more bread than chicken. Now the burger. It was really good, it had a grill taste as if it cooked on top of charcoal. It was amazing. The veggies were fresh and the patty to bread ratio was perfect. Now the service was ok at first started off rocky. But Justin took over and he saved the day. He was great. This was my first time sitting at the bar at Morton's and it was a nice vibe.

I stopped in for " power hour" which is Morton's version of an upscale happy hour. I was greeted by Justin our bartender that evening. I'm a regular here so I already knew what I wanted, which was a Margarita and a wagyu steak burger. Justin made my drink perfectly. I only need that one drink. The burger was cooked perfectly and tasted great as always. My wife ordered short rib tacos and mini crab cakes. The experience was pleasant and the ambiance was nice and welcoming.

The BEST thanksgiving I could've asked for! The turkey roulade is a much better (moister) version of the dry turkey we are used to on Thanksgiving. All the sides smacked as well. Don't skip the sweet potato casserole!! My server Erin was very friendly and attentive. The manager even took off the extra charge for the sweet potato casserole and chocolate cake due to a (reasonable!) wait for the main course. All in all a 11/10 experience. If you don't feel like cooking on turkey day you can't go wrong with dining at Morton's! I'm sure their regular menu is great as well.

Morton's was connected to the hotel I was staying at so it was an easy dinner choice. The service was awesome. I sat at the bar and had a filet with crab and asparagus. The steak was cooked to perfection. The had a good selection of wines by the glass.

We were staying at this hotel for a conference. When we walked in at 5:30, we explained that we had a session at 7, and if that would not be enough time, we could try another restaurant. We were assured we would have plenty of time. Our server came quickly, acknowledged that we had avv appointment and recommended the waygu dumplings. We had these. They came quickly and were very good. Highly recommend these. For dinner, we both ordered the filet mignon and lobster. Sides are served family style, and we chose au gratin potatoes and creamed corn. There were only a couple of other people in the place. It took a long time to get our food. At 6:20 we asked about our entrees. Stating we still had time to do something else if they could not meet our schedule. The food was out in about 2 minutes after that. The service was not super attentive after we ordered. This was only a problem because we were running out of time. The steaks were cooked perfectly, and the lobster was great. The au gratin was my wife's idea, and I am not a huge fan, but it was the best choice for our plan. The creamed corn was exceptional. We flagged our server down to get a box and bill. The hostess seemed to think they were perfect getting us out with 8 minutes to spare. There are several other high-end steak houses in Jacksonville. This one was our least favorite. I wouldn't choose to go here again but wouldn't not go if someone planned it.

We had a dinner on this past weekend and they exceeded our expectations. I honestly didn't get all of the pictures but the food, service and ambiance were top tier.

I had to go to Jacksonville on a business trip, stayed at the Hyatt Regency. First night went to Morton's Steakhouse and it did not disappoint. The restaurant is very clean and nice. The food was amazing and the bartenders had excellent amazing customer service.

This particular Morton's The Steakhouse is located on the Hyatt and I was here for a trade conference and we chose here for dinner. The place has an overall good ambiance and the service was attentive and professional. The steaks were good and overall, I would recommend here if you find yourself here for a trade conference or if you are just in the hotel generally.

Went for an early Friday night dinner before a show. Made a reservation and got the text our table was ready just before we arrived. I like that! So often I arrive to a reservation and still have to wait. Started off with a passion margarita (just the right amount of heat from the hot honey!) and a lavender cosmo. I am super picky about cosmos and this one was one of the best. Smelling the lavender sprigs while drinking really enhances the flavors. The bread came out so warm and delicious. The butter was perfectly softened. Difficult to not fill up on it! Our appetizer was bacon wrapped scallops - excellent. They tasted fresh! I'm not sure what the sauce was? I didn't get to ask and can't pin down the flavor but it was enjoyable. We both had prime Cajun ribeye cooked medium rare. It came out cooked exactly right and the Cajun flavor was awesome. I think the garlic butter would be great in this and I regret not getting it. We also had mashed potatoes and truffle fries for the sides (I love truffle fries. Don't come at me for fries at a fancier restaurant ). Fries were pretty good but didn't feel like they were quite worthy of a nicer restaurant. The mashed potatoes - highly recommend. Creamy and flavorful. Our server had wonderful recommendations without being pushy. She gave great explanations on some of the questions we had and was quick to get our leftover food packed up and our check when we realized we wouldn't have time for dessert. There were so many good options on the dessert menu so I will definitely need to make it back to try one or many of them! Only real complaint is the parking situation. Valet is prohibitively expensive (due to being located in a hotel. I get it but yikes). Not a ton of street parking or other options though on a Friday night. Anyone who knows downtown Jax knows. And in this particular instance, there were so many box trucks blocking a lot of the spaces on the road on one side of the hotel. It was such a bummer on a drizzly night.

My husband ordered the ribeye and his was medium, his was also spot on. Then of course, we had to get dessert. I got the German chocolate cake (this apparently isn't their normal one) and my husband got the dulce cheesecake. The waitress we had was great, and she recommended lots of tips and favorites to try. The only negative thing that I would say is that it's a bit cramped, so it was very loud and hard to hear each other at points. This was an amazing dinner. We will be back

Our waiter, Evan, was very proactive & offered suggestions with menu items. We started with some cocktails, the gentlemen with the cider beer & an old fashioned. I chose a glass of bubbly & the birthday girl had the fizz cocktail. It was incredible with a fresh blackberry puree. We started with the fried green tomatoes & the calamari, both were delicious! Calamari was prepared well and not too chewy. We shockingly each chose a salad: the bistro steak, the chop chop Asian, the goat cheese, and the salmon. Each one was incredible. Mine was the chop chop and I absolutely loved it! It was HUGE and you can bet I ate every single bite. Loved it!' We finished with the brownie topped with ice cream for the birthday girl, it was extremely tasty! Thanks again to Evan for making our night! He was a fantastic waiter! Would absolutely request him in the future.

Not my first visit but was surprised at the turn up and live Dj helping catch the vibes. Service wasn't as fast as it usually is but the couples next to us helped pass the time. I was pleased with the overall appearance of the dining area. It was intimate and felt romantic...at first. The place is nice but it doubles as a lounge after maybe 10pm or so. This made what started out as a romantic dinner, turn into a rush to get home. It became super crowded near where we were seated and the service became stretched. The food was good. There was complimentary bread that came with an olive oil dip reminiscent of Carabba's. For dinner I ordered tuna crudo, shrimp and lobster pappardelle , mushroom arancini, and brussel sprouts. I won't go as far to say that anything was mind blowing but the dishes tasted good. The pappardelle was the star it was balanced and loaded with fresh shrimp and lobster throughout. The mushroom dish was pretty much a risotto ball that was breaded and fried. The tuna crudo was okay, fresh but lacking acidity and umami. The brussel sprouts were charred nicely and came with a yogurt sauce. There was an array of dinks. Cocktails, wine, champagne service, and two bars to sit and have drinks or dinner. I ended up getting the Sirocco cocktail x2. The drink was made well and tasted good. I would definitely give Cataluna another shot, just not so close to party time. This place is great though if you like upscale lounge vibes with food. If you want to try something different for a late meal or hangout, make Cataluna a destination to try

The wedge salad was cool and crisp. I wish it had more pieces of bacon, the bacon looked a bit sparse. The fried pickles were great. I loved the light crisp batter on them and the ranch dip had a bit of a kick to it. For dinner I got the braised short ribs, my husband and brother in law both got the chimichurri steak, and my sister got the pork schnitzel. I've been looking forward to the braised short ribs all week. I was a bit disappointed that when I bit in, it appeared to be pretty bland. Normally when I get this meal it's bursting with flavor. My husband and BIL enjoyed their steaks. My sister enjoyed her schnitzel, but said the pork could have been a bit thinner. We ended the meal with their skillet cookie. Typically the cookie comes out piping hot, but on this occassion, while the skillet was hot, the cookie wasn't. We'll give them another shot, but I was a bit disappointed this time around.

She started listing various options and provided details why they were her favorite. Someone who only knows the menu backwards and forwards and has personally partaken in the food would know such detail! It was so refreshing to hear her just talk about what she liked and why. And the most important part the "why" she liked it! You don't hear that too often. I had a conversation with the manager, Erik, and reiterated to him the importance of having such a dedicated professional (he promised me that not only what she recognized her for her outstanding job, but that she would receive two free meals as a reward for her customer center approach.) My friend had the del monico steak and they cooked it perfectly - the way he liked (breathing and mooing). My other two friends had the fried shrimp which they devoured! Overall, this was a great experience because of the company, the ambience in the restaurant which is warm embracing and inviting and the great service we had from Chelsea and Erik.
