I have gone to Mori of Mori Ink in Ashland for 2 tattoos and one re-piercing. Both tattoos have significant meaning. One is small or "standard" and one is a major piece that spans from hip to hip. Mori wanted to make sure that each piece was well done and the lines were fine. I noted that to her each piece regardless of the price was a piece of art and she gave each her full attention. Her after care line of nu-tattoo is excellant- all natural and works wonders. I have even used it for other minor skin abrasions and cuts. I have had both the salve and liquid. The liquid was used for my daughter's piercing. The quality of work and products far exceeds the norm. My daughter has had three piercing from her, one of which was a nose- correction from a palor I did not approve of. She had had a nose piercing and Mori had to undo the damage. Mori - did her ears , and belly button as well. My daughter wanted some very cute earring to begin with and Mori educated her on the best type of beginning jewelry to wear to minimize the chance of infection. She is a swimmer so the risk of infection was greater since she would not be out of the pool for the ideally recommended time. We followed her direction and had no issues. 8 weeks later we went back and got the cute earrings that she wanted, knowing that she carries quality products. WOW...awesome...what can I say...on the 5th day after getting a quarter sleeve tattoo. I cant stop looking at it....I gave Mori my idea, & she created the pix from scratch..The lines are nice & clear, colour is good. no scabs..healing great!..a circle of goddesses holding hands around a sacred fire, each goddess a diff colour, flames look 3D, looks like pix is lifting off my forearm..I cant stop looking at it..It never hurt either, since my forearm thin skin, & she was gentle, I didn't have to tap out...I lasted the whole time.She linked the flames with the roots of the tree, all so smooth, & I was surprised my wallet didn't even hurt too bad. Seriously a decent price, will return for some make-up tattoo around my eyes....So thank you Mori, coming from another state & not knowing you other than the recommendations, you far exceeded what I hoped for.I soo will be back. Mori pierced my 10-year-old's ears and did an amazing job of keeping her calm throughout--it couldn't have been a better experience. The piercings healed perfectly with no infection or pain. About 7 months later, we foolishly put cheap metal earrings in, and wound up with horrible, bloody earlobes and pain. Mori made time to see us as soon as we discovered what was going on. She extracted the cheap earrings like the pro she is, and reinserted the original piercing rings, which was way more than I could have done myself. My daughter was a little hysterical initially, and the procedure was slightly painful (not Mori's fault) but Mori talked her through it and couldn't have had a better manner with my daughter. I had a few disjointed tattoos that bugged me for years. I always covered them up with clothing and felt self conscious when they peeped out. I found Mori and am so grateful I did. She connected an otherwise disconnect scene on my left front shoulder going toward my back. I told her I loved vines and she drew and tattooed the most graceful, elegant, sensual leaves on a vine that totally brought together my other tats. Gathered up my courage and went to Mori's Ink to have permanent eyeliner done, top and bottom lids. I could not be happier with the results! Mori LISTENED closely to what I wanted, explained the whole procedure, including healing and after-care, and then went to work on me. Mori made sure everything was completely sanitized and hygienically clean, kept checking with me during the procedure to make sure I was comfortable and relaxed, and showed me the work as it progressed. Thanks to Mori my tat looks great! I am very active with the outdoors and during the healing process I scraped it on a boulder and wound up loosing some color but Mori gave me an excellent touch up and now its perfect.
