I got my nose pierced in late August 2017 and am so happy to share how amazing my experience was. I love my piercing and have followed Chari's instructions to keep it clean and nice. (Don't touch it, wash with water, keep makeup away from the piercing). No regrets! Chari got me in for a piercing the same day I called her! I had a great experience here. It was a busy day and though Chari was juggling multiple clients, she still provided excellent service. I had my nose re-pierced and she did a great job - minimal pain and it looks great! Her studio is very clean and I appreciated the extra precautions that she took against infections in general (iodine, sterilized equipment) and also COVID. It was very different from my initial piercing experience (not in Ashland) and far better. I also liked the ritual aspect of the experience - she lightly bangs a little gong to start and end the session (and maybe some other things that I missed because I was a little nervous). Wow I'm so impressed with this place, and Chari. This was my very first time ever with getting a piercing (never got my ears done as a kid, no tattoos, nothing) and it was such a pleasant experience! She was super professional and had such a calming energy I didn't feel uncomfortable being as... exposed, I guess(?) as I was, and it took almost no time at all it seemed. Charli removed three jewelry top of my dermal piercing today and it was honestly more important to me than I even knew and I really appreciate their skill and expertise. I've had my dermal piercing for three years and one other piercer has tried and failed to take the jewelry top off, charli had to use two tools and was very quick and really didn't cause me any discomfort at all. My daughter met her grade goals and earned herself getting her belly button pierced- I wanted to make sure I found a place that I felt safe and comfortable trusting to pierce my daughter- it's interesting that I was much less concerned with my own but was very nervous getting hers done. 8-9 years ago I got a cartillege piercing at Ritual Evolution. I was anxious when I walked in. When I was younger, someone (not at RE) messed up giving me a cartilage piercing pretty severely. Shari was great. Put on some soothing instrumental music, the room had soft purple, calming wall paint. Shari sat with me, we laughed and joked a bit and then practiced guided breathing. After the piercing supplies were set out and ready, Shari prepared me to breath out on the poke. It was such positive experience that I havent gone elsewhere. Excellent. It's difficult to find a shop in the area with someone willing to insert a retainer immediately after a lip piercing. Chari is very careful, thoughtful, professional, and she knows her shit. She used a glass retainer and barely anyone in my workplace even noticed. I've been here twice now, the first time was unexpected because the original place I was going to was closed so we called Chari. I got earlobe piercings today, and I loved the experience. Chari is very friendly, careful, and has a lot of knowledge. The studio is very clean and relaxed atmosphere. This place is such a rip off!!! They charged me 75 bucks for a dermal anchor when you can get them done in medford at "A body mod" for 30 bucks. The woman also was talking to her friend and made me wait a really long time before she pierced me even though i was the only customer there. Do not waste your money.
