Today I walked in for a tattoo and a piercing. I knew exactly what I wanted and Korynn had the stencil ready for me within minutes. While I waited I had Melinda pierce my daith. Quick, easy, comfortable, with minimal pain. I love it and she was so funny and made the whole experience so enjoyable. From the second Korynn called me to the back it took about 10 minutes to do my tattoo. She was very efficient and very sweet. It was my first tattoo and I felt like she was very light handed and gentle. She then explained very nicely the aftercare procedures and what to expect. It made for a great day and I will definitely be returning for more piercings/tattoos soon. Thank you to everyone at Epic Ink.

Anywho, we called barely an hour before closing and we were told to come on in, score. The guy at the desk (didn't ask his name I'm an asshole) was incredibly nice and funny and went and grabbed our artist, Paul. NOW, Paul is probably my favorite artist I've ever met and my tattoo only took maybe 10 minutes max. He was very careful to listen to what I wanted and double checked everything. He was also very personable and his work was immaculate, fine lines like an old ladies face it's a perfect tattoo especially for how small it is. I scooted off the table and he cleaned everything before tattooing my cousin which shouldn't be something to be excited about but Virginia artists can be shady. An added bonus was Jesse the other artist that was there also talked to us and gave me names of artists in Virginia that do great work. All in all it was an amazing experience and I'd make the venture back out just to be tattooed by Paul, which I'm planning to do in December. He's that good. The shop is clean, staff is f*cking rad, and they do great work. If you're looking for a place to get inked you'd be dumb not to come here. Thank y'all so much!!!

Their service was absolutely top tier, and the vibe of the place was relaxed and not overly bright (they use portable lights when working instead of having the whole building super bright at all times). I first got a small(ish) tattoo during one of their flash sales to see if I'd be ok with the ink and technique as I'd discovered from an older tattoo that I sometimes don't react the best to certain brands. I afterward set up a meeting for the rework design and the appointment for the tattoo. I am super happy with the rework, and will be going back in for more work when I have the time and funds.
