While the Chicago MF is my, "home" shop. I came to this shop when I was in town to see if I could replace some of my shades that unfortunately got ruined when I capsized my kayak. I'm so happy that I was able to get the same costumer service I am used with this company. When I walked into the store I was immediately greeted even though there were at least four other costumers ahead of me. I was looking for a model with a larger lens which they didn't have in store but were able to order. I was a little worried about getting them sight unseen but they were exactly what I was looking for. I was visiting from NYC, unaware of the time and their closing time (arrived 10 minutes before closing) they made me feel welcomed and not rushed. In other words they weren't rude or seemed annoyed that someone walked in right before closing which many establishments do. I genuinely thought I was going to do a quick browse and leave but a few glasses caught my attention and Jesus encouraged me to try them on. I was mindful of the time and felt the need to leave but he was so kind and insisted that he was ok with staying after hours... um, if this isn't exceptional customer service then I don't know what is. He was so genuine and took his time helping my partner and I. We purchased two specs and he thoroughly explained the why behind every step. There was a hiccup with my prescription, on my end, but they quickly adjusted it and sent them out within a week. It arrived well packaged, including the different prescription in case I needed them. They were charging less $$$ than mall optometry shops. They had Carter ibiza's for $2400 while some mall shops charge $3800+. Shopping around Rodeo drive used to be quite an intimidating experience for me until I met the amazing team at Morgenthal Frederics. From the moment I walked in I felt genuinely welcomed and was comfortable enough to ask lots of questions trying to find the perfect pair of Jacques Marie Mage glasses. Jesus in particular went out of his way to patiently help me try on a couple dozen pairs, even pulling out a few that weren't on display, to help me find the perfect one. I ended up ordering the Dealan in Black which was sold out everywhere else in Los Angeles and online, but they had one in their network of stores and had it shipped for free. Exclusive, exquisite frames and wonderful service. I had to replace the lenses of my Ogani prescription sunglasses that are about 10 years old, and Morgenthal Frederics certainly obliged. Replacement cost $1,200, when all was said and done. Replacement of entire glasses - over $5,000, from their Florida branch shop.
