This was the best experience I've ever had going to an eye doctor for new glasses. I have a lot of hope that I will be able to drive at night when I get my new eye glasses. Dr Maanum definitely cares about his patients more than just selling products and prescriptions. He isolated a problem with my eyes that could have been serious undiagnosed. I'm very grateful I found this office. Jennie and Mark were super helpful and very kind. I would 100% recommend Dr Maanum when you're due for your next appointment. Very bright, clean facility. I saw Dr. Maanum for my yearly eye exam for contacts. He was on time for my appointment and I was lucky enough to have been squeezed in same day! He was patient and knowledgeable and answered all of my questions. Parking was free and easy Front desk lady and Marc are great! I plan on ordering my contacts through their office as it was cheaper then going through 1800 contacts and the shipping is free free. I plan on sticking with Dr. Maanum! read more

If I could give him 10 stars, I would. Dr. Manum was my eye doctor for several years when I lived near his office. Then I moved to the valley and spent 3 years trying to find a new eye doctor that was closer. And for 3 years no one could get it quite right. I finally decided to drive over the hill and go back to Dr. Manum. Nobody could get my reading glasses right and I'm an editor and look at a computer all day. I told Dr. Manum how far my computer screen is from where I sit and he got out a measuring tape to help him figure out the prescription. Did any other doctor I tried do that!? Nope. Today I picked up my glasses, 1 for distance and 1 for reading and my contacts. Everything was perfect!! I can see my computer screen again with clarity. Thank you Dr. Manum! I wish I wouldn't have waited so long to go back. And his staff are so nice and helpful. read more

Just had an eye appointment with Dr. Michelle Partieli! I basically lost my reading vision overnight, have to change my contact/eye glass prescription. Dr. Partieli is knowledgeable, professional and made things so easy! She really made me comfortable because after speaking with her for about 5 minutes, I already got the sense that she is very experienced and knows her stuff! Office staff in the front were very professional and courteous as well. I highly recommend this office. read more

So I am updating the review as my 2nd experience with customer service was not stellar. I dropped off my reading glasses to have them fix them as I had sat on them. The lady that received them was quite abrupt & short, saying the glasses could break if they try to fix them I let her know I understood and that was fine. And she said it again and I said I understand but I still need them fixed and then she said she's not sure they can be fixed and they might break them and then I would have broken glasses so for the third time I confirmed I understood and if she's not going to fix them then I'll take them home and do it instead of wasting my time arguing. She said they'd try and she would call to let me know. 6 days later, I hadn't heard from them so I called to follow up, and they said they've been ready. No one called to update, nor let me know and I've been without them for six days. The whole reason why I bought reading glasses was because I don't have any, so that was inconvenient . Therefore I am rating them down a bit for less than 5* customer service. read more

Dr. Maanum and his team are incredible. I found them through an online search and feel so grateful that the reviews were spot on with respect to Dr. M's skill and bedside manners. I had Dr. M help with a severe dry eye condition and advise on whether I would qualify for contact lenses. He was so patient and really focused on preserving the health of my eyes. I had seen a number of different opthalmologists and optometrists over the past few years but Dr. M was able to offer a new and incredibly valuable perspective. I have been going to Dr. Maanum for a few years now for my annual eye exam. Even with my very poor eyesight, I always come out seeing things crystal clear! Dr. Maanum is a wonderful eye doctor, and he and his staff are very knowledgeable/informative, patient, and kind. In addition to providing excellent service, they are very in-the-know in regards to eye care and health. They have a great variety of eye glasses and contact lenses (disclosure I have only ordered contact lenses). For the past few years I was using the monthlies, but this past visit, I switched to dailies; I have been pleased with both. In addition, they have been taking extra precautions the past 6 months+, including limiting the number of patients in the office and requiring all patients to have an appointment/confirm their appointment (so as to not have too many people in the office). There is metered street parking right on Pico, as well as around the neighborhoods (I believe it's a 2 hour limit so just watch out for street signs). read more

Have always had a great experience with Dr Maanym. He is very through and detail oriented. I also really appreciate that there has never been much of a wait. The office does require an appointment and a call ahead due to covid. I like that they know my name and I'm not just another appointment, but most importantly is the ease and timely manner in which they see me. Besides his professional skills, he is a really nice man: he is very personable, listens well, and responds clearly to questions. I am a return customer of Dr. Maanum......although I keep thinking sometimes that his name is Dr. Magnum. LOL Anyhow, he is a great optometrist. He checked my eyes thoroughly today and gave me some sample contacts until I get my refills. The only reason I did not assign 5 stars was because it costed $135 for the contact lens eye examination. It is a little steep but I suppose that is Beverly Hills adjacent, right? They have some great designer frames for sale in their office but today, I was only concerned with getting contact lenses. Also, parking is very scarce. If you are lucky, there is street parking. read more

If you wear contact lenses and have a high prescription, I highly recommend Dr. Maanum. For several years (after a lifetime of wearing contact lenses) I was having difficulties getting contact lenses that I could see out and fit comfortably. At higher prescriptions, there are less options available in contact lenses. Dr. Maanum was able to find lenses that are perfect. I booked an appointment to see Dr. Maanum and was able to see him the same day. I'm glad I found him and his office. I was seen promptly at my appointment time and was given a variety of tests on my eyes to see exactly what was going on. I felt well taken care of and listened to and by no means rushed during the appointment. Dr. Maanum answered all of my questions and was very thorough and patient. I was recommended to get some reading glasses, and since I have had trouble reading up close lately, I decided to get my first pair of glasses. Genesis was great and patient in helping me select a great frame that worked well for my face and style I wanted, so I ordered them and felt happy with my choice. Dr. Maanum has been my daughter's eye doctor for about 5 or 6 years. He is warm and listens. He even returned an emergency call on the weekend very quickly. He is a top notch optometrist and he has some cutting edge technology that takes photos of eyes to spot changes that may occur over time. We got some great contact lens and high end glasses for my daughter, which were covered by insurance. Very nice staff too. Highly recommend! read more
