The first time they did it they installed a 240 volt outlet in my garage and I plugged a tesla mobile connector into that, worked well. The next time they did it at the new house, I thought they would do the same thing but apparently they stopped installing the mobile connectors. Now they only install the wall connector which is a large sci-fi looking thing that is permanently affixed to the wall. It's also more expensive than the mobile connector. None of this was made clear to me when we started the project with Grayzer. They came to my house, got about 90% done with the job then saw the equipment I had and said "sorry we don't do those anymore". They explained the situation to me but since I didn't have the equipment they wanted they couldn't finish. They did however insist on being fully paid for the job. Stupidly, I agreed to pay them and they left saying "call us when you have the wall connector". That was a mistake. Never fully pay for the work until the job is fully done! So I bought one and scheduled a time to finish at which point they said they would need to charge another trip fee to come back out. I explained that it wasn't made clear to me that I didn't have the right equipment until the job was almost complete but they didn't care. They were insistent that I give them another trip fee before they would come back. Frankly they were pretty rude about it too. Like really rude. Whoever I was emailing was belligerent and completely unprofessional. It was extremely frustrating. I tried to explain that as the professionals in this situation they should be the ones checking that all the equipment is ready to go before the job starts. At the time I didn't know the difference between a mobile connector and a wall connector. I didn't even know that tesla had multiple options for wall chargers. I had what I used the first time so I figured it would work. It's not that the trip fee was so much money but after having to drag this out over two visits, spend another $150 to upgrade to a wall connector, a trip fee on top of all that was a bit much. In my opinion, a reasonable company would just accept responsibility and waive the second trip fee. Or at least offer to split it. But not these guys. They dug their trench and they weren't coming out. It was childish and stupid and I'm embarrassed for them. And to boot, the people they sent out to finish up the job were jerks. One of them was yelling and cussing at somebody on their phone like a crazy person in my garage. Honestly, these guys are like school on a Sunday -- no class. I guess this is what happens when you get to be a popular company. Customer service and basic decency goes out the window because what do you care, you have plenty of business. Right? Yeah right.

He was professional upfront, but once hired, he moved the start date 4 times and never finished the job. He consistently said he would "for sure" be there the next day, then wouldn't show and we'd have to reach out only to hear some excuse "I have a poker game" was something he actually texted us. Every time he arrived, he was hours later than he had told us he'd be there. He included things in his upfront bid, then asked us for separate payments. He texted at 1am asking for payment by 7:30am in order to show up the next day. We needed to help him rent equipment from Home Depot so he could finish the job, and at 10am he confirmed to meet us at the store at 1pm. Then no showed and didn't answer texts/calls. We didn't hear from him until 9:30pm that evening and he claimed he napped and "slept through his alarms". For 8.5 hours. When confronted with the unprofessional manner he was handling the job, he accused us of "taking down a veteran business". I come from a huge family of veterans and was excited to support one. None I know would run their business this way.
