My friend suggested this place. It's Mexican/ seafood. I could not find it on Yelp, but saw they had 2 other locations. Got there and I like the ambience and feel. My friend was more familiar with the place so he made a few suggestion. Considering I'm not much of a drinker he order this piña colada drink. It was like a mixture of dessert with alcohol kick . I tried flautas and chili reyeno (prolly butcher the spelling), but they both tasted pretty legit. They were freshly made and had good consistency in every bite. I will definitely be back to tried other stuff. I do suggest this place because it has more authentic taste and not a tex mex.

SCAMMERS VIA TIPS. My parents just went to try out this place, they say they had a young waitress that seemed like she was new. She gave them a good service, she was nice and they were never disrespectful. Service by bartender was horrible, my dad opened up the beer he ordered and it burst, still he didn't complain. My parents sent back the chicken that came out raw, requested the ceviche on the side of the tostadas so it wouldn't break and asked for fresh coffee. When the chicken came back they didn't bring back silverware, so she asked for some. Per the rude and disrespectful bartender/cashier they were charged automatic 20% gratuity for being "picky", seems like they are making it a habit of scamming people (see other reviews) out of money via tips as they weren't even more than 5 people, just the two of them. Requesting a better than subpar service is being "picky". They were going to tip anyway, we have many family members in the service industry, just don't feel that it being done this was was ethical. Contacting the BBB.

Rode past and saw they had a 7.99 lunch special from 12-3 I think? Anyways stopped at the bar. Host…read moreand server were both sweet girls. I ordered the 5 wings and Cajun fries. I loved how it came out and for $11 bucks I was satisfied ($2 for my sprite). Some ppl had boils and it smelled great. I would come back and try their seafood and drinks. Happy hour is 12-7 I believe I saw on their sign but their drink prices were lovely. Wings were hot and fresh and were flavorful. Love how it came with celery (as all wing plates should). Cajun fries were good af! I say 4 not 5 only cause I didn't get to try enough to assess it and they didn't have grenadine for my Shirley temple but she used a great strawberry purée!

My daughter had some shrimp plate, and we ordered the seafood platter that had fish bites shrimps fries hush puppies and calamari the food was good flavor. I also ordered a fried mojarra it came with fries and dirty rice. The fish was perfect the fries were good . And the rice had a different ok flavor. Food was made fresh. The only thing was they only had two waiters. But I tell you those girls were working super hard and took care of all tables. I just feel for them because it's a lot of work for only 2 people. They also have a little bar on the right of the tables where you can sit and order food and drinks as well. It was pretty cool place. Would go again. The food is pricy but I think it was worth it overall. I will return to try something different next time I come. Thank you ladies for the good service. And kudos to cook it was good food.

After a long day in transit, all we wanted was something deeply satisfying, the kind of meal that feels like a reward. When my mother suggested Aunt Irene's Kitchen, there was no hesitation. She spoke of it with the reverence reserved for places that become part of your personal geography former neighborhood staples, the kind you measure other meals against. Years ago, when she lived nearby, this was her spot. And now, standing beside her in a line that stretched out the door, it was clear we weren't the only ones holding onto that sentiment. The queue moved with surprising ease, a quiet efficiency that felt almost practiced. Inside, the energy was unpretentious and steady. Our cashier, while not particularly warm, was brisk and knowledgeable answering questions with the kind of clarity that suggests confidence in the product more than performance. We ordered simply: wings with fries, and two plates of fried fish with fries. The wings hadn't been part of the original plan, but a fellow patron mid-meal and visibly excited leaned over to insist. It felt like advice worth taking. And it was. The food arrived in its own time this is not a place for the impatient but what it lacked in speed, it more than made up for in flavor. The fish was crisp and tender, the wings richly seasoned, each bite layered with the kind of depth that doesn't rush itself. Then there was the jalapeño tucked alongside the plate like a quiet signature. It cut through the richness with a bright, deliberate heat, a small but memorable detail that elevated the entire experience. The dining room itself is modest and well-kept, with many opting to take their meals to-go or retreat to their cars. There's an ease to it all ample parking, friendly faces coming and going, a sense of community that lingers longer than the wait. Because that's the thing about places like this: they don't just feed you, they remind you why the wait was worth it.

The shrimp and wing box was massive. Wings so good they didn't even need the lemon pepper sauce that it came with. The shrimp was addicting. I found myself regretting not getting an additional order of shrimp. (I will next time). The order came with a side of 2 pieces of well seasoned Cajun flavored corn and potato pieces that were covered with a hefty amount of cheese. A Dallas gem for sure.
