I love Beenie's ice cream! I have been visiting the ice cream shop for several years now…read more Beenie's is located near the Deloitte office building in downtown Morristown. Parking is tricky but there is a paid public lot across the street. Inside, there is a cute little seating area with picnic benches and some Adirondack chairs. Near the seating, there is a water cooler and plastic cups. Being located in the heart of Morristown, the prices are a bit on the higher side, but the ice cream is 100% homemade and sourced with local, seasonal ingredients. I love seeing all of the creative flavors and there are always so many different options to choose from. In the refrigerated section, there are pints and cakes available to take to-go. Monthly/seasonal flavors are offered as well. You can even create a custom ice cream flavor for a special occasion. Service is also very friendly and happy to help, even when they are very busy. They are very involved in the local community and source ingredients from surrounding local businesses. I am part of a local running club in town and each year they collaborate on a special flavor called "Neon Swirl". I can't wait for my next trip back to Beenie's to try more amazing flavor creations. Love Beenie's! The interior is colorful and well-lit, with a smart design to keep the line moving…read more A large and creative list of ice cream flavors await you! I went for the vanilla ice cream with cherries. It was a generous portion for a single scoop and more than enough. I assume that their ice cream is homemade, it tastes that good! Vegans - don't despair. There are numerous non-dairy options to choose from. The service was efficient and friendly. Overall, this is a very well-run and welcoming ice cream establishment owned and operated by caring small business owners. I highly recommend it!

Stopped here the other say when we were in Morristown. We got some items to go - spinach quiche,…read moregingersnaps, and salted chocolate chip cookies. The quiche was delicious. The chocolate chip cookies were unbelievably soft and delicious. The ginger snaps were meh. They didn't really reek of ginger the way you would expect. That said.... When we got here yesterday U noticed a "Ginger Cappuccino" written up on their blackboard menu. I'm a sucker for a good espresso drink and I LOVE ginger, so I figured I'd give it a whirl, and Lord have mercy, it was absolutely spectacular. You can tell right off the first sip that they aren't using any of that fake, sugary pump-syrup you get at the big chains. This bad boy tastes like it has real, honest-to-goodness grated ginger steeped right into the milk. It gives you this wonderfully warm, spicy little kick that cuts right through the rich espresso and velvety foam perfectly. It is smooth, uniquely flavorful, and just downright delicious. This hidden gem on Cattano Avenue hits the nail right on the head. If you see the ginger cappuccino on the board when you walk in, do not hesitate--just order it!!! So sorry I learned about this as they are planning to close up shop. I am on a mission now to figure it out!!!

I went to The Artist yesterday for breakfast with a friend. It was a cute little shop on Cattano…read moreAve, a side street in Morristown. I felt like I was in an old school bakery. They had an indoor dining room and an outdoor patio. We opted for the indoor dining room due to the heat wave. For breakfast, I ordered a chocolate chip crumb muffin and a pecan bar. I've never heard of a Chocolate Chip Crumb Muffin before, but it was delicious! The pecan bar was good as well. Unfortunately, I didn't order a drink because I don't like coffee and the only non-coffee drink they had was Hot Chocolate and unsweetened iced tea. Too hot for hot chocolate and I don't like unsweetened iced tea. The ladies at the counter were very nice though and gave me some tap water! Overall a great experience. Sad I just found out about this place as they prepare to close their doors in September.

Fantastic staff- also don't be afraid of parking, there is a garage around the corner…read more We called in an order so we would have less of a wait with the kids and Edward took our order and held a table for us. We walked in 15 minutes later and he literally pointed to a booth where our two Detroit reds were just set up and waiting on us- we felt like royalty! On to the pizza- have tried many Detroit style pizzas over the years, I would say this was more Detroit "inspired", Aside from the edges, It had a soft bready crust - a little too fluffy compared to the crisp, almost focaccia-like crust we are accustomed to. Not to fret, it's still delicious! Quality pull on the cheese and the sauce holds its own. Some of the slices had the caramelized cheese halo and those were attacked first. Since we prepaid on the phone we didn't have the option to leave a tip. No worries, quick view of the sweet delights and we ordered some bombolones so that we could add a tip there!

Well, apparently I spoke too soon. You don't need a passport to experience a tourist trap. Just come to Morristown and pay $7 plus tax for a burnt croissant ( photo attached). Yep, you heard that right. Seven bucks. Burnt. I stopped in for takeout and got a chocolate croissant , a can of Diet Coke, and a burnt ham-and-cheese croissant. By the time everything was said and done, I walked out almost $18 lighter -- before tip. At that point, I wasn't even mad. I was impressed. TikTok influencers who travel around the world making videos about tourist scams can save themselves the airfare. Come to Morristown. We apparently have some champions right here in Jersey. No pyramid tour required. Bye never again... Wonder how much was a pizza here??
