Okay so I've been back numerous times and I kinda love this place. It grew on me. I prefer to come during the week during one of my marathon shopping trips, because the weekends are packed! Like can't find a place to sit your butt packed. The manager and owner are still here doing their thing day in and out and I love watching them work. Very well ran staff. We went because this business was listed in the paper winners guide. The food was very good! However we were disappointed that the lady bringing us the food was not wearing her mask correctly "not over her nose" and they were allowing people in without masks. For those of us trying to do our part it's frustrating that some businesses have still not recognized this is serious. Can't give a 5 star that's for sure. read more

This was my second visit to Mooyah. I was unimpressed the first time, but thought I'd give them a second chance. We ordered delivery through a second party delivery service, the delivery fell though, leaving my husband and I to pick up our order ourselves. The staff called us a couple times to ask questions, and due to shipping issues ran out of fries... Our order was the last one before running out, they saved the fries for us even though the driver never showed up, just in case we still wanted them!! They were so nice the whole way through the process and apologized multiple times when though the delivery service was the one that messed up. Great customer service!! read more

French fries are fresh cut and worth every calorie! People are incredibly friendly and willing to help navigate the menu for first timers. Mooyyyeah it was OK. When you first walk in, you can tell it's the same feel as 5 Guys, but definitely a lot cleaner than their counterpart! It's always a good sign to see a place that is well taken care of and clean (who wants dirt and dust getting in your food) so it already started out good. Like others have reviewed, the service here was great! The manager was delivering food, bussing tables and talking with the guests. I could easily see myself coming back just because of the two previously mentioned traits. They have a wide variety of optional (most of them free) add ins to really make your burger the way you want. Being my first time, I went with the Mooyah burger with cheese, added bacon and swapped out the onions for onion strings. The only up charge was the cheese and bacon. I made it a combo with an Oreo shake, because everyone seems to be on board with the fries being excellent and mixed reviews on the shakes. First out was my "large" shake. Back home in Utah that would probably be the children's size, but I was hopeful my for quality over quantity. I'd heard reviews saying the shakes were too thick, and thought, "are you guys nuts?! Shakes are supposed to be thick!" Well here's the problem; I see what they are talking about now. It is a WEIRD thick. Almost as if they use gelatin to thicken them. It was more of a gooey texture and kind of hard to eat, definitely not through a straw! I actually didn't even finish it. Next up was the burger and fries. Another reviewer hit it on the head when they said the ranch was not good at all. Being in Montana, I was really hoping for a good ranch to go with the fries, but ended up sticking with the Mooyah sauce (or what Utahns have been calling "fry sauce" for the past 20+ years). If you are wondering, Mooyah sauce = McDonalds secret sauce/In-N-Out spread/Jack in the Box "secret" sauce...it's all the same people! Let's just call it like it is. It's the same sauce you see everywhere and it's the corner stone of burger sauce, so I didn't mind (other than having ANOTHER name to call this sauce that is used everywhere). Anyway, back to the food. I liked the fries better than 5 guys, and they were very much up to par with good reviews. The burger was good, but I agree with the reviews that say it's nothing to get excited about. That is definitely not to say that it is bad! If a fast food burger is a 1 star, this is still a 3 star burger, and for pretty close to what you would pay for a premium burger at Carl's Jr, you are going to get a much better burger for your dollar here. If I were to come back, I'd probably not spend the extra $5 on the shake, skip the bacon (it was very thin, and grisly) and try and experiment with the free toppings some more - maybe add some jalapeños and pepper jack cheese with those onion strings. I'd say it's still worth checking out. My meal with the shake was about $12, but skip the shake and it's not a bad deal. I would put Mooyah a bit above 5 Guys and just under Smash Burger (which I'm not sure if they have in Montana). read more

MOOYAH is in a convenient location and has very quick service. You can get in and out within a short amount of time, even if they are busy. The staff will typically greet you in some sort of welcoming manner when you first walk in. The menu is direct, easy to read and there are a lot of options to choose from. I always like to keep it simple and just build my own burger. I love the option of different shakes but also just a fountain drink if you want it. I feel as if the staff always gets orders done in a timely manner; obviously it takes a minute or two to cook orders but they work as fast as they can. When calling your name and giving you your food, I've found that they're very friendly and helpful. I also love the option of having access to ranch and mooyah sauce; both are DELICIOUS sauces! read more
