Great beer!!! Me and my girlfriend were road tripping to Canada and swung by this place. The beer was the best I had on the trip, up to that point. Also, hats off to our waiter. He had six tables inside and four outside and was the only waiter/server/busier and this is a big restaurant. Now the bad, the food wasn't for us. I could see how people would like it though. Customer service is excellent, and if you're like me, this is the first thing you notice when you walk into a place. Kyra was awesome, offering me samples of beers i wouldn't have thought to ask about. The beers were very good. The Exklusiv Lager was almost too smooth of a finish, ie, i wanted a bit more of that amber flavor. But the Marzen with its apple pie flavor and Grand Olde Ale at 13.9% made up for any lack of flavor. I got a bottle each for family xmas! they have ipas and sours, but i didn't try those. I really enjoyed the ambiance. It's a modern building, very clean, and not a TV in sight. thank god. i was at a brewery the day prior that has been compared to a chuck e. cheese, and i'm trying to avoid those. i also didn't try the food, but it looked good. because the beers I tried were barrel-aged, they were a bit pricier than some breweries, but you get what you pay for. A much larger facility than I imagined.. Great design inside and out, very clean and modern.. big open and airy. Lots of seating inside and outside. Numerous choices on tap so we decided on a flight to try a few. For $10 you get three 6 ounce pours on a cool flight board. Although we didn't eat the menu and the food leaving the kitchen looked fantastic. The bartenders were great and they took care of the bar patrons and the tables. Incredible food, incredible craft beers, and incredible staff. Definitely stop by this place! For appetizer, I highly recommend trying the wings which are flavorful and smoky, served lollipop style. For my entrée I had the blackened mahi mahi tacos which also had a spicy pineapple jalapeño sauce which paired perfectly with the fish. The beers were phenomenal, and they have something for every palate. I recommend doing the tasting flight so you can sample a few. My favorite was the refreshing Lucent Bond. The setting is clean, modern, and there is a nice patio and space for yard games outside. The bartenders were amazing and made our experience extra special. Cute place and we liked the grassy area where kids can play on nicer days. I had the Mahi tacos which were $18 and pretty spicy. I was able to eat about half before the heat was too much for me to handle. Husband had the burger that was filling and salty. We have had a fun time here and were really bummed by the management. They overcharged us for the mango mojitos that came out as $7 but were $5 on the menu on the tab. Our son has an allergy and we thought it was initially nice when the manager came out and offered to make him a meal that was egg and dairy free until we found out that he told the waitress to charge us for a full priced adult meal. The waitstaff agreed that it was incredibly misleading and was super nice about it and even called the manager to change the bill. Kind of worried that they are taking advantage of their customers and it was a bummer because it made a really cute/family friendly place have a negative vibe. Overall super nice servers but check the bill because management is trying to make an extra buck! Staff was super awesome and accommodating and saved the day. read more

By All Means stop into THIS place! Naomi N. was so incredible, she made our entire night here. We were passing through town looking for something good and landed on By All Means based on some good Yelp reviews. She was so friendly and personable and recommended some fantastic food. I was pretty needy and asked her opinion on absolutely everything I ordered and she delivered her honest opinions. Wings are the barometer of the rest of the menu, in my experience, and they were absolutely to die for. The entrées that followed definitely lived up to our appetizer. We had the pork burrito, an upscale take on a classic, and the pan seared chicken (also Naomi's pick) and they were 10/10! There are some less common sauces on the menu that I've never tried before, like jalapeño mojo and peanut salsa macha; touches of pickled mustard seed and rhubarb salsa also appear on the menu. The beers were phenomenal, we even got to sample some if we weren't sure. My favorite was the Foeder Five sour - tart and fresh! We finished with some horchata ice cream that tasted exactly like the drink and we got way more for $5 than I was expecting. The setting is beautiful, nice patio and space for yard games outside, gorgeous modern interior with lots of types of seating options, a big long bar, and a view of the giant barrels! There was live music tonight that was just the perfect volume, two gentleman doing western covers of classics (they were very talented), and of course 5 star service. 5 of 5 no doubt.... I love the open space and the unassumingly modern vibes with an industrial touch of the venue. The food is absolutely fantastic and so is the beer selection. While they only serve beer at the moment, they do have plans to offer wine during the summer. Be aware they only serve alcohol until 8pm. Beers were hit and miss and food, while tasty, was a bit frustrating. In particular, don't call something steak frites if the frites are a single finger line potato sliced horizontally and baked. That's not steak frites. It's a super cool space with great interior design and a huge bar. Just be prepared to have beers with off flavors and to ask questions about the food. read more

When I had the opportunity to try this Billings. Montana brewery I realized I simply couldn't pass it up. For one it's a brewery I haven't tried beer from but also it's my first foray into Billings' craft beer brewing community. Steve and I shared one of their beers the Release 2. This was an Dubbel Amber lager. This beer was very enjoyable with it's caramel and graham cracker flavors which gave this beer a very pleasant and complex flavor we both really! By All Means Brewing is my 163rd brewery. This is a nice big tasting room with a big patio area. We were here pretty early so only one other couple was there, who brought their dog abd were sitting by the fire outside. It has a very modern decor but is welcoming and comfortable. Zymopunk Pilsner is a great light flavored beer. A little floral aroma and honey on the nose. The flavor followed that nicely. Exklusiv amber lager is another really nice beer. Good aroma with a flavor that matched. A little caramel. SWPFTD went with the amber also and enjoyed it. The 003 Stout is barrel aged in Basil Hayden bourbon barrels. It's infused with chocolate, vanilla, and raspberry. I got a lot of raspberry on the nose then raspberry and chocolate on the tongue. I didn't get vanilla but this is a really well done beer. For food we went with the queso fundido as an appetizer and couldn't complain at all. I went with the smothered burrito while family went with the carnitas tacos and the steak frites. The plating was beautiful. My smothered burrito was good but light on the pork. My daughter went with the steak frites and the steak was poor quality. Tough and lots of fat. My daughter having worked as a server didn't want to send it back. I absolutely would have sent it back. The chef did a great job but I think the quality of the beef was skimped on. I almost bumped this down to 4 stars just because the steak was very poor, but I review breweries primarily on beer so I am leaving it at 5. My advice though, avoid the steak frites. The beer was really good and the chef knows his business. If management is reading this abs your chef has commented on what you are buying...listen! Regardless, BAMB is definitely worth a stop, just stay away from the steak frites. There is an area out front where some kids were playing and parents were talking. Upon entering, the brew area is to the left behind closed doors. Straight ahead is a relaxation area with tables and couches. To the right are the bar, tables and entrance to Moav coffee. We sat toward the back, across the entrance to Moav. We were welcomed, seated after a few minutes, given menus to look over and asked it was our first visit in. The lady, the main lady working all the tables, explained their menu, told us what they are known for and told us a little about their menu. Our party ordered a flight (three 6 oz. Glasses) Wrath of Cone, Huckleberry Billingser Weisse and the Falconridge Porter. We also ordered two Jamaica Lemonades that I absolutely loved . We tried their Rockfish, Carne Borracha and Smoked Chicken tacos. Their rockfish and carne borracha tacos was bursting with flavor. The smoked chicken taco was good. After brunch we tried their churro donuts with chamoy curd. The churro looked over cooked and kind of hard. Our party all loved the flavor of this dessert. The Huckleberry Billingser Weisse was the huge standout amongst the flight. So much so that we purchased their growler filled with it to take home. This growler is pretty awesome! Our server was calm and got everything on or order correct. At the end of our meal we asked the gentlemen serving beer at the bar a few questions about their establishment to which he happily answered. Reviewing for a visit on 11/9/2019. It was a super busy Saturday night. They had an hour wait for tables and open bar seating. Thankfully there were two seats open at the bar and we decided to spend our entire visit there. There was also a loft that was open seating and it looked super cool but was full. The decor is awesome, industrial/modern. The taps are beautiful with a marble tile backsplash and the entire building has unique lighting fixtures, seating, and personalized metal coasters with their logo and different Montana themed images carved out. I tried three beers; Bamberry, Fog Machine IPA and 41 Peaks IPA. The Bamberry was phenomenal. I am NOT a fruity beer person, I like thick IPAs but BAM's Bamberry was out of this world. It is a pricier beer at $7 for 12oz ($4 for 6oz) but well worth the pricetag for a well-rounded beer. There was a slight strawberry finish that I appreciated. Of the two IPAs the 41 Peaks was my favorite, the Fog Machine is much stronger and stands well on its own but the 41 peaks is really great with a meal. Their beer offerings come in 6oz "tasters" and full 12oz or 16oz options. The menu is heavily similar to that of the Fieldhouse's which is no surprise seeing as Ben Harman created most of the menu. It is definitely on the pricey side and is meant to be more of a luxury menu than a traditional taphouse menu. The chips and salsa are sold separately but they have four different salsa options to choose from. The tempura fried squash flowers were very unique and tasty but not a great value. $12 for three blossoms, I'm guessing the chevre stuffed inside the flowers was local and pretty pricey for them to add. This is something I would order if I were eating out for work, not buying myself. 3 is a weird number, especially if you have 4 people sharing a meal. The carrot salad is hands down the best value. It is huge and filling. More of a coleslaw type situation with the thick shredded veggies. The avocado puree served as a nice dip for our remaining chips too! The tacos are VERY small, more like snacks, but still delicious. We tried the arroz con leche desert and that was a beautiful combination of texture and flavors. Not too sweet but still hit the sweet tooth mark. Would definitely eat this again! The kitchen uses a lot of edible flowers in their menu. We saw them in three different menu options. Overall, an awesome place for people to take out-of-town guests to wow them, a great place to have quality beer, probably not somewhere many people will call their local brewery hangout because of the sticker price of food and some of the "fancier" beers. If I had more money I'd be here on the reg but I will settle for quarterly visits for sure!! read more
