Disclaimer: I'm a huge Freddy's fan. So I can be harsh! This was my first time at Five Guys. I've heard great things about Five Guys and everyone I've spoken to have always said they liked FG. I've never heard anything bad about FG. I got a double bacon cheeseburger with lettuce, tomatoes, Mayo and mushrooms. Regular fries. Large drink. First - parking was sufficient and space is clean. And busy! Lots of people. And the staff were super friendly. When I told them it was my first time, they didn't rush me and they spent time explaining the menu to me! Five stars to staff and environment. Food: The burger was fantastic and hit the spot! It was wrapped in foil which kept it hot and melted the cheese. So good! The veggies were fresh. And I really loved that the mushrooms were added on at no charge! Fries were a bit disappointing but only because I have high standards. I love skinny fries that are crunchy. These were thicker fries and were not crunchy. They were still okay but not my favorite. I will give them extra credit for how generous they were with the fries. They gave me the regular size fries AND gave me extra at the bottom of my bag. That's great customer service. I also noticed that they featured the farm where they got their potatoes for the day or week from on the wall near the order line. I appreciate that they support local! Drinks - they have two large drink stations that allow you to mix and match multiple flavors. I love having so many options. Overall - great burger. Okay fries. Friendly staff. I love it when I go into a place of business and the people working all get along and seem to work well together. This place had that! Service was great!!! The food was made perfectly and fast. Disgusting!! Do not eat here. It's over price and quality is terrible. We spend $46 on fast food burgers. I got the BLT and the bacon was cold and refrigerated on top of a hamburger bun. When I brought it to the associates attention she said with an attitude 'yeah. It's supposed to be. It (the bacon) just sits there. read more

Severely overrated. I enjoy a greasy hamburger, but wouldn't waste my time here again as there are better options in town that are less expensive. The flavor of the burger was ok, but I was very disappointed with the bun, which was cooked on the flattop which is fine but must of started out stale or got over cooked because the entire edge of the bun was dry and crunchy, not the texture I'm looking for on a burger bun. And who doesn't melt the cheese on a burger!?!?!? It'll be Mooyah or the Burger Dive for now on! read more

This place is amazing and the service/food is always exceptional. All these 1-2 star reviews are crazy because I frequent here a bit and it's never, ever been like that. The place is always clean unless its swamped, so duh that make sense it'll be a little dirty but this place is packed quite a bit which, right there, obviously shows how good and popular the food is. The only reason someone's food would be cold or less than expectations would be because they took forever to pick it up or let it sit there otherwise the food is always cooked hot and fresh and I've never had an issue with that. I don't work here but I will stand up for them because some of those reviews are ridiculous and I don't want people to discount this five guys because of those reviews, try it for yourself and you'll see. read more

We arrived just after they opened yesterday (1/5/19). There were two parties/orders before ours. Team member who took our order was friendly and courteous. I love that they have Barq's cream soda options there (love cream soda). I got my soda before I sat down. Kay (mil) served us some peanuts so we ate those while we waited for our order. It only took about 10-15 minutes before our order was up. All of our orders were correct, complete with napkins. Good experience all around. read more

What a waste of money! I ordered a cheeseburger 'all the way', small fry and a regular-sized fountain drink. and was very disappointed! The place wasn't that busy, yet my food was cold. The bun on my burger was smashed like someone stepped on it first, all the toppings were cold, including the cheese, and where the heck is the beef? There was barely a thin, fall apart patty. It's a burger! There's supposed to be a hamburger patty in it, not some flimsy, falling apart, thin as a slice of lunch meat, excuse for a burger patty. The fries were cold and soggy and the fountain drink was flat and barely cold. The ice in my drink melted very fast. I'll not go back there again and DO NOT recommend this place. read more

We've heard great things about Five Guys, so we had to give them a try now that they're here in Billings, and we're glad we did. The menu is small but customizable; each burger is ordered as meat, meat with cheese, meat with bacon, or meat with bacon and cheese. Every topping is chosen by you. No, "hold the pickles, hold the tomatoes, hold the _____." We're not sure why but that really appeals to us. Ordering a cheeseburger with mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard, onions, lettuce, and pickles, resulted in something that tasted remarkably similar to a Burger King Whopper. The fact that Five Guys doesn't have a freezer in the joint means, that while the taste was similar, the quality was superior. We also ordered a couple 'dogs,' but found them to be just okay. They left an unpleasant greasy coating in our mouths, but we may just be picky when it comes to hot dogs. Bags and bags of potatoes are piled around, ready to make your fresh cut fries. Even better, there's a sign that informs you where the potatoes for your fries that day are from. The Five Guys style is pretty good, but if you like a little more seasoning, you can't go wrong with the Cajun style. We also ordered a milkshake of chocolate and coffee, which didn't survive the 45-minute trip in milkshake form, but was still enjoyable as a melted cream. For what they are, a fast-casual style restaurant, we would recommend stopping by if you enjoy a nice, uncomplicated burger/dog. There are some tables available, but with the amount of people packed in there when we stopped by, you might be better off getting it to go. read more

Me and my girlfriend were in there today and ordered because it used to be one of my favorite places to eat, the guy taking our order ( I can't remember his name) acted like he could really care less about what we were saying, then when we got our burgers the orders were completely wrong to the point of not know who's was who's, the buns were extremely soggy, and the fries taste like peanuts . I didnt complain inside because I don't trust people to not spit in my food. Oh and also there was not a single clean table, the floors had trash all over and there were employees standing around over all I'd say this place is shit. read more

3-9-18: my boyfriend and I stopped by for dinner before going to the movies. We decided to go to Five Guys because the food is good and the service is fast. Our service tonight was the opposite of our expectations. Two burgers and a medium fry took 40 minutes to get. And when we received our food, there was no apology or explanation for the delay. This kind of service and the quality of food are not worth the wait- nor the lack of apology from the almost hour long wait. Absent them having to actually kill the cow before they cooked it, there is no reason for that kind of service. If you want a good burger, then go to five guys! They are the bomb when it comes to burgers when you walk in the place looks like it's out of the 60's there service is great, when you have more then one person they individually ask what kind of burger you want and how you like your burger. Price is a little high but fair and food is quick to be served, and there pop Machines are very advanced with big Variety, clean restrooms and tables. Would definitely come back again and again... then one more time. read more

Went there for lunch 4-29-17. The lobby was packed. I mean packed. You would think they were giving out hundred dollar bills. Despite the busy lobby the service was fast. We waited in line maybe 3 minutes even after letting a few go in front as we were waiting for a friend. We order 4 burgers and a large fry. We were order 35. They were serving number 17. I didn't have much hope we would get our food promptly but it was less than a ten minute wait. (Pretty reasonable given the amount of orders ahead of us). The food was correct and hot. There was more than enough food and fries for us. It was very tasty as I've come to expect from this franchise. We will definitely be back. read more

Regulars are doubles. Littles are singles. Get a dubb. Cajun fries get regular and size down the fries. Get soo many. American cheese on all. Bacon is ok not something you need each time. And eat your fries for awhile and let the cheese melt in the foil wrapper. Then it will be perfect, I like a dash or 3 of that malt vinegar in the fry bag. read more

I have been to Five Guys in several different cities. However, this particular restaurant is better than the other Five Guys establishments I have been to. Their menu is straightforward and the portions are generous. My wife and I went there last night on a date - we were looking for a good solid burger that would fill us up. The atmosphere was good - a busy restaurant whose signature touch is the unlimited peanuts and rave reviews posted on every wall. It was louder than I would have liked but since it was what I expected I just dealt with it and enjoyed the great meal and the great companionship. :) read more

Our order was ordered through Uber Eats which is endorsed by Five Guys Burgers and Fries. The order was ready at 11:51 and picked up by the driver at 12:06. It was delivered to me at 12:51.. Our food sat in the car with the driver for 45 minutes. It was delivered ice cold, the only thing that wasn't cold was the milk shakes, which were soup. I highly recommend eating in if you choose to eat at Five Guys Burgers and Fries. I will not ever again. Poor quality and when I called and talked to them about this issue, they told me tuff luck, it is on uber. I suggested then that they no longer use uber as there are other delivery services that get you your food on time and HOT and COLD. So this was a lovely $40 quick lunch into why didn't we go to JAKES for a real $40 meal. Do not recommend. read more

I absolutely love the food at Five Guys, but I hate the atmosphere. The music is far too loud and I always feel frantic going in. I hope they fix this, because the food is really amazing. Two visits. The first gave me a bacon burger with no bacon and one missing meat patty. The second resulted in a missing order of fries. A few more visits like this and I'll have paid for an entire meal that I don't actually get. The burger had so much grease that the hamburger-bun was soaked with it. My strawberry-banana milkshake was just melted ice-cream with bits of banana and strawberry mixed in. The ice-cream tasted just like the ice-cream you get at Mcdonald's, Burger-King, Hardees, Mooyah's, Arby's, and Wendy's restaurants. My wife and I went into 5-Guys yesterday at 1:50:57 for lunch. Was not busy as we walked right to the counter. We were greeted by Heather W., friendly and outgoing, made her suggestions, and placed the order. Wife had a little cheeseburger with everything; me, little cheeseburger with ketchup, mustard, onion, pickle, and mayo. We got our burgers and sat down. Opened them up, wife had four items on her "with everything" order; I got ketchup and mustard, only. We didn't bother talking to the manager, as we had to leave right away. This was the third time we have been there, and the worst experience. The only solution to I can see to fix this, is get someone in the prep line who can read. It was rather dirty in there and trashcans were over flowing. Music was too loud, and I didn't even have my hearing aids in. We will go back, as our first two experiences were above expectations, and the burgers were really good. read more
