Ordered prime rib w/ceasar salad. Salad came right away but then so did my prime rib and I just started my salad. So I bypassed my salad to eat my main course while it was hot. Not halfway through the waitress comes back and asks if I need a box. I'm still eating and right behind her comes a manager. I don't why they were so intent of swarming my table. Fun atmosphere. Nice menu choices and prices. Perfectly cooked steak. Con: They encrust the baked potato with salt before cooking. It literally has a layer of crusty salt. Then they place the steak right next to it. I tried wiping the layer of salt off and onto the bread plate. It was still too salty. I shrugged it off thinking I would only eat the inside of the potato leaving the skin-my favorite part. Looking at the enormous amount of food on my plate I figured I would not be able to eat all of it anyway. So I dug into the ribeye. Where the potato rested against the steak, the steak was like a juicy bite of salt with steak. The food server said it wouldn't be a problem to return it for another one. She did. She brought me another beautifully cooked steak with a new salt encrusted baker butted up against it. She said that this time they didn't salt or pepper the steak. By this point I was really full and asked for a to go box. Yes I would highly recommend this place. Just don't choose the baked potato as a side. read more

Went and tried the Roadhouse for the first time , a loud fun atmosphere, they had the country music cranked up, which I enjoyed. Our server was attentive and on point , restaurant was packed. Snakebite Appetizer was ok , more of a spicy cheese ball , I would have liked more jalapeño chunks in them, not sure I would order them again. Had a margarita with my porterhouse steak ! Both were great , not a big fan of national chain type steakhouses but I enjoyed the overall experience. Would go again read more

Well run and friendly servers! Quickly seated near kitchen, so a true listening pleasure. My first time at one of these, of many, Road Houses, so this might come as a shock to the many devotees. The pork ribs were probably "cooked, seared and finished" just before being tossed onto my plate. "Fall off the bone goodness" was my first hint to leave. Instead, we left the overly charred & salted remnants on our plates. Refused the take home boxes to save Mr @ home. Even the baked potato was encrusted in salt, making the best part (the peel) cause for a CHF trip to a hospital. I refused the peel & hospitalization, wishing I had been in my own kitchen, making our own ribs & salad. TX Road Haus is obviously successful but so is obesity, heart disease and congestive heart failure. Hope they can figure out how to market healthy foods. read more

Solid chain restaurant for a reasonably priced steak. Came for dinner and it did not disappoint. This location is VERY NOISY but people are having a good time. Ordered the 12 ounce Ft Worth ribeye. Ordered it medium rare and it was slightly over cooked. Quality cut of meat though and it was perfectly seasoned. Sides included a cup of chili and sweet potato loaded with marshmallows. I typically shy away from texas roadhouse.Because it's the overseasoned food. So it's been my place to have a nice salad with steak on top. I wish my lettuce was cut up a little bit more and a few more bites of the steak would have been nice for the price. This place was terrible. I stayed at the Springhill Suites next door and tried to place a to-go order on the website. It asked me to choose a tine for pickup, but all the possible times were crossed out. So i selected "Earliest Available" and it then put me into an endless loop of saying I needed to choose a pickup tome but not allowing me to choose one because they were all crossed out. I then tried calling tbe restaurant but the recording only offered to send me a link to the website to order and when i chose to wait for a representative, no one ever answered the phone. PUT THE MINI CHEESEBURGERS ON THE APPETIZER MENU I've been a loyal Texas Roadhouse customer for years, but I was extremely disappointed to learn that they no longer serve mini cheeseburgers to anyone over the age of 12. Why? If a paying customer wants to order them, what difference does age make? It's frustrating to be denied a meal I've enjoyed before, especially when other restaurants have no issue letting adults order from the kids' menu. Texas Roadhouse is known for great food and a welcoming atmosphere, but this policy feels unnecessary and disappointing. If a customer is willing to pay for a meal, why restrict their options? I hope management reconsiders and allows all guests to enjoy the food they want--regardless of age. read more

We have based the rating of this review on the lack of training of Team Members and ongoing practices. We have attached the receipt so that hopefully the Franchisee and Team leadership can address the following items.... First and importantly, the service, servers, bar members and host were doing five star services. Applause for those team members. The poor rating comes from the back of the house.... One would think that a Saturday 5:pm dinner shift, the most profitable night of the week, that food and sanitary standards would be top notch and on point, sadly this is not the result. Again, previous staff mentioned was good. Now to the food 8oz Sirloin, rare to temp was marvelous and the drill station did well on this plate. This is the last of positive observations.... Cactus Blossom as App Not only has the fryer not been cycled or cleaned that day or possibly even the night before, the onion comes out as dark bitter chocolate in color. NOT flaky, crisp or bright. Old dirty oil is what this has been cooked all day and obviously for the remainder of the evening as the oil change wouldn't take place med shift... Also the onion itself wasNOT completely peeled. We came across four stands of onion skin cooked within the fingers of the pull of onion. Like feeling wax paper in the mouth. So training and prep done beforehand has been overlooked and poorly trained if that, the showpiece of Your ap Running busy. More to come. Entire kitchen staff needs a re boot from opening day. No food standards met even as they fire apps and entrees to be delivered at the same time even stated on kitchen tickets as app and entrees. Too. Many issues with this kitchen Send a kitchen training team to teach these 'Illegals' how Your standards should be as the training materials states. This locations is only profitable because of location. It is a shame that the front of house carries the poor standards of kitchen and back of house to warrant a bill paid. UFO Sighted! Beware: if you are a person of color, stay away from this place. My husband and I were taking a road trip and we decided to get dinner here, since it was late and close to the hotel we were staying at overnight. My husband had said the rolls were really good, and I figured, it was late, I have no problem giving it a try. A little background: this took place while COVID was still occurring. When we walked in, no one was wearing a mask (including the kitchen staff) and food was exposed. I was already scared of the health implications... When I walked in, everyone (who was Caucasian) essentially stared at me as if I was an alien from outer space, or an endangered animal who just escaped the local zoo. Literally, it seemed like no one there had ever seen a person of color. Even the staff was rude and were hesitant to help me when I approached them to place a take out order. It was only when my husband, who is Caucasian, approached, that they were willing to help. The food was mediocre at best. The rolls were the most edible of what we ordered. I doubt management would respond, but if you do: no excuse can explain away your blatant racism, so do not even bother. read more

My wife's food had a hair in it, my young son's well done steak was rare, they were out of pulled pork at six pm, so I got a grilled chicken breast sandwich. It was maybe processed chicken pressed into the general shape of a breast? Whatever it was had zero flavor and had the texture of moist Styrofoam. The server disappeared for half an hour. Take out order for 5 Ready very fast Porterhouse was good Chicken fried steak was good Ribs were great. No one liked the rattlesnake bites (tasteless other than pure jalapeño) Or the potato skins ( very bad tasting bacon bits and a weird greasy cheese, potatoes tasted like dirt), or the boneless chicken ( fatty parts are parts kind of chicken, nothing we'd get again, nothing special and there's better) Cactus onion was good Fried pickles were ok, thicker than anyone ever had anywhere, so VERY much a mouthful of pickle The disappointment was all of the sides were missing!! We had one of us drive from laurel campground to the roadhouse. WARNING, VERY VERY VERY TIGHT PARKING LOT AT THE ROADHOUSE , and we didn't know they don't car side the order!! Obviously we Would Not have let our elderly handicapped party member go for the pickup if we had!! So that was a double headache for him, Tight Parking with a big pickup and a real bear for him to get across the parking lot and inside the restaurant , to go parking is not next to the building and the entrance for to go isn't handicapped accessible, there's a curb and 2 sets of Heavy doors to get through. Next time he said he would park in the handicapped spot and enter that way, ignoring the To Go parking spots. After all that he struggled the load back to the truck and drove it back to us in laurel, only to find there were No Sides in the bag.....aarrrgghhhh. He said that the young girl tried reading the order to him but it was so incredibly loud in there he got tired of saying he couldn't hear either of the girls, hostess station 1 or station 2, so waved them off and said I can't hear you, I'll take the bag. We all camp with our pets so going to the roadhouse was out, we're sure everything would have been right and great in person. We didn't bother calling them about it, what are they going to do? And no one wanted to drive to Billings and back for loaded mashed potatoes and steak fries with cheese and broccoli. We'd try it again, likely not until tourist season winds down, and knowing the to go and the parking lot situation we'd be limiting who goes to get it.
