Beth. Beth working the drive-thru happened. It was my family and my first time at Dave's. We were pretty stoked but completely clueless about the menu or how to order, ya know? As our little crew of four went back and forth on what to get, asking questions like, "do you have this," or, "do you have that?" Most people would have lost patience with us, been short, etc - but Beth is not most people. She was not only patient, understanding, and funny to boot - she was incredibly knowledgy about the menu, efficient, and flexible in an evolving situation. So if it weren't for Beth, not certain our first experience at Dave's would have been a good one. Oh yeah, I had the sliders how Dave's serves them - tenders were juicy, properly sauced, mild was exactly how one would expect mild to be; just enough to have a little fun. I haven't decided on this place, yet. It's new, still finding its rhythm, but seems to be hitting the mark. The service is quick, the food comes out quickly and (weirdly) even quicker when it's busy. I won't read too much into that. The food is okay. I like the range of heat available for the chicken, but anything over a medium or a step above that seems to be for experts only. I don't like it when the hot overpowers rather than enhances the food. I still like this place it's a decent value for what you get and the chicken is pretty good . read more

First time at Dave's, was very curious. Ordered the #1, medium heat, a side of mac-n-cheese, and a large Coke Zero. Gotta say, won't go back. Great food, but not worth a 20+ wait on a 2 slider meal. When there is no line and no one inside, but not to mention not letting you know there will be a wait is rude. For starters, the staff was super friendly and funny! The atmosphere was top notch and they had bomb music playing. We are on a cross country road trip and have never tried the chain before and they made it a delicious and memorable experience. I'm not sure if a manager, but the woman behind the counter recommended putting Dave's sauce and honey on the sliders and omg she deserves a raise just for that. What a satisfying combo that just exploded on your taste buds. Would 10/10 recommend. The atmosphere, staff, and the food were top tier for fast food. This is an up and coming place with other locations in Austin, Tx, where I first tried it. They have a very unique chicken and it's delicious! I have become a fan for sure. I love their hot sliders topped with cheese and coleslaw, adding Dave's special sauce and it's a very unique tasting chicken sandwich worth going out of your way for. Most people don't like their food that spicy so I recommend if you don't, try i a mild or even without. In any case it is different and very good. The service is great, restrooms are always clean, very friendly and accommodating, the graffiti decor is interesting, and It's a really good product that I believe most will enjoy. read more

We've wanted to try this place and finally came across a location in Billings. The staff were very friendly and the restaurant was clean. It was a Saturday afternoon and they were incredibly busy, but our food was prepared quickly and served piping hot. The menu board showing the 2-slider meal was a bit deceptive; there is nothing slider-ish about those sandwiches. They are HUGE! And delicious. read more

Truly the best spicy chicken I've had! Not sure what the dipping sauce is but it's amazing.

I got the 2 sliders with fries and had them spiced "hot". The cashier assured me I wouldn't die. I like a little spice these sliders delivered! The Dave's sauce, along with the pickles and slaw smoothed the heat out. The chicken portions are big and the breast meat is tender and juicy. The wait was only 15mins or so, but everyone was working and it was running smoothly. The lady in the kitchen even smiled at me behind the pass bar. Should be called Dave's Hot Milkshakes. Ordered two large shakes (about $8) and they were disgusting! Both were very frothy and not creamy at all and they were WARM! How do you create a warm milkshake? We put our shakes in the freezer for a little over an hour and they still tasted luke warm. Not to mention the flavor was awful. The chicken slider and tender were ok but nothing exciting and overpriced for what we got. After they go out of business, maybe we'll try the next food place that moves in. read more
