This is an up and coming place with other locations in Austin, Tx, where I first tried it. They have a very unique chicken and it's delicious! I have become a fan for sure. I love their hot sliders topped with cheese and coleslaw, adding Dave's special sauce and it's a very unique tasting chicken sandwich worth going out of your way for. Most people don't like their food that spicy so I recommend if you don't, try i a mild or even without. In any case it is different and very good. My kids like Dave's hot chicken. The food quality is generally good and consistent and the sauce is good. I get this place approximately 2 times a year because the wait times are insane. I'm currently sitting in line for the second time this year currently at a wait time of 52 minutes and I'm not to the window. If you like waiting forever for chicken this place is ok. I would suggest ordering ahead maybe? But the drive through is literally the slowest one I've ever been to. read more

I haven't decided on this place, yet. It's new, still finding its rhythm, but seems to be hitting the mark. The service is quick, the food comes out quickly and (weirdly) even quicker when it's busy. I won't read too much into that. The food is okay. I like the range of heat available for the chicken, but anything over a medium or a step above that seems to be for experts only. We made a larger order. The first time we got the order half of it was missing. So went back in twice to get missing items. In the end still missing Mac and cheese. Truly the best spicy chicken I've had! Not sure what the dipping sauce is but it's amazing.

I got the 2 sliders with fries and had them spiced "hot". The cashier assured me I wouldn't die. I like a little spice these sliders delivered! The Dave's sauce, along with the pickles and slaw smoothed the heat out. The chicken portions are big and the breast meat is tender and juicy. We've wanted to try this place and finally came across a location in Billings. The staff were very friendly and the restaurant was clean. It was a Saturday afternoon and they were incredibly busy, but our food was prepared quickly and served piping hot. Should be called Dave's Hot Milkshakes. Ordered two large shakes (about $8) and they were disgusting! Both were very frothy and not creamy at all and they were WARM! How do you create a warm milkshake? We put our shakes in the freezer for a little over an hour and they still tasted luke warm. Not to mention the flavor was awful. The chicken slider and tender were ok but nothing exciting and overpriced for what we got. After they go out of business, maybe we'll try the next food place that moves in. read more
