Our waitress Janet was absolutely amazing! Thank you Janet. However, Carol(the GM spouse) was HORRIBLE. Swearing, slamming serving trays down, she would drop something, pick it up and slam it down. There were plenty of servers that could have helped if she could not handle her section. Absolutely a turn off for people sitting at the counter. She should absolutely not be allowed to act that way. I will NEVER return if she is working. I understand as I have been a server and understand being busy. This lady can not handle anything more then working a a 4 B's restaurant. And Janet would have gotten a 5 if Carol was not there. read more

Excellent homemade soups. Service was top shelf. Loved the patriotic vibe going. Again our waitress was phenomenal.

Terrible food. Had the meatloaf it was a thin fried patty and dry as a bone. Soup was ok. Just bad diner food.

Yikes. My fault for expecting a decent meal. They were out of their "famous" tomato soup, which made eating the grilled cheese difficult since it was melted kraft singles between two giant dry pieces of toast. The green beans came from a can. The "oriental" chicken salad came with honey mustard dressing. Idk which part of the orient they were trying to channel specifically, but you should try to avoid it if this is what the food is going to be like. I was hoping the peach pie would save the meal but it was frigid cold. Service was friendly. Onion rings were ok. Price was too high for what you got. read more

The food is average. My son order chicken fried chicken. He didn't want gravy and he didn't see it came with gravy. We went ahead and ordered him another one. We get the next order and it came out as chicken fried steak. He said he would just wait until we were somewhere else. Waitress noticed and said she was sorry about messing up the order. The parking lot was empty which made me nervous. The interior was clean and spacious. I ordered meatloaf, mashed potatoes and a house salad. The meatloaf was very good and the gravy put it over the top. My salad was the standard fare and the mashed potatoes were so so. The service was good and the price was very fair for the quality and amount of food I received. I would stop by here again on my way through Billings. read more

I ordered the open face pot roast. Melt in your mouth tender roast. The garlic mashed potatoes were perfect and fluffy. The waitress was friendly, knowledgeable about the menu and had good recommendations. She provided a discount because she figured I was staying at a hotel close by. The food was hot and flavorful. I showed up at 815PM and was promptly seated, 30 minutes later with only about l0 to l5 customers, no one had still waited on me. Problem #2-I called the restaurant phone number twice to ask for the manager, not only did NO one answer the phone, (apparently they don't care about call in carry out orders), but the record a phone said the messages were full and I was told to hang up. Problem #3, I went to use the bathroom and with customers still in the restaurant I was locked out of the restaurant. Problem #4, I asked for the night manager who apparently was working in the back and showed my frustration, she said she did not know the CEO's contact information but gave me her managers info when I said I would call back tomorrow. Problem #5, I called back the next morning after the rush hour and again, no one answered the phone and the message center said it was full :( :( :( read more

I dont know what drugs the other reviewers are on but my meal and service was awesome! I had meatloaf and their famous tomato soup while my friend got the chef salad. All was delicious and our waitress, Starr was very nice and funny. read more

It's 4B's. Walked in, ordered, drank coffee, ate, paid, left. The price is a little steep for what they are pumping out. A 4B's sandwich should not be more than Chalet Market or Pickle Barrel! If they are, make better food. I will be back as this is a staple in my families eating stops around Billings. Rarely look forward to it unless the company makes it fun! Pretty quality service though, they receive all the credit! read more

Very nice staff and great food. Never been to this restaurant before. Was warmly greeted at door and served right away. Had the cheeseburger special which was tasty, included extra French fries, and was inexpensive. No complaints about this place. I'd definitely go back again. read more

Rip off! Very expensive for run of the mill truck stop quality food. I had an omelet and order a side of two sausage patties. These two sausage patties cost me $5 each! Yes that is $10 on top of my main course! I had even deleted items from my main course. read more

I went next door (connected in the building) to the casino. I had heard how great the food was at 4B's, went next door at 815PM, about l0 to l5 customers being served. The female employee sat me down, I waited and waited and waited for 30 MINUTES to be waited on, an no one showed up to take my order. I looked up the phone number to call this restaurant and ask for the manager as the wait staff kept passing me by. The phone rang and rang and the recordaphone said the message center was full and to call back. I then called again and the same thing. So much for the superior customer service I had heard so much about and that they brag about in their menus. At 845, I went through the connecting door to go to the restroom and someone had locked me out. A customer let me back in. I then asked the first employee for the night manager. She came out of the back later and I asked her for the contact information for the CEO of the company, she did not know but told me to call back the next morning and gave me the names of the owner and day manager. I called back the next morning after l030AM, and the morning rush and the same thing, no one answered the phone and there was no way to leave a message. :( read more

This is the 3rd time we have been here and possibly the last. Our waitress is very rude from the moment we walked in. When taking our drink order she interrupted us to tell the table next to us that she would be with them shortly. Our drink was not right(no big deal) she rushed us when we were ordering our food and wasn't very helpful. When she brought our drinks to us she set the drink tray down and left it, didn't even distribute the drinks. I am very dissatisfied with her attitude and the way she serves us read more

Two stars because it was kind of a cute little diner and the service was good. Their "famous" tomato soup was barely acceptable. My chicken Parmesan was a deep fried chicken breast on a bed of over cooked fettuccine topped with what tasted like a jar of Prego with meat sauce. No cheese and no flavor. After watching the server scoop soups out of plastic containers sitting under the warming lamps I would not recommend any soups here. Find someplace else. read more

They claim to have a world famous tomato soup. I had it for the first time today and it was good not great not world famous just good. I think Uberbrew has a slightly better tomato soup every Tuesday. Now that's just my opinion. I had the special which was a grilled ham and cheese and soup for $7.95 and overall it was quite good. I will probably go back as I sat at the counter and observed some of the other dish's going out and they looked pretty darn good. read more

The pork chops were too tough to cut. The meatloaf was a fried slab of dried meat. The sauteed mushrooms were teeny, tiny, canned mushrooms heated in a microwave. The gravy was too salty to eat. They were understaffed, so the wait was pretty long for everything. I don't think I will go back ever. read more

We stayed at the Best Western across the street. I wanted to eat dinner at the 4Bs because it's a Montana restaurant. The parking lot was nearly empty on a weekend. When we went inside we stood by the sign, "Please wait to be seated," for more than five minutes as servers walked back and forth and made no eye contact. Finally we got a booth and were given menus. When we ordered salads the server told us the restaurant had no lettuce. We asked why we weren't told that when handed the menus, as at least half the menu items involved lettuce of some kind. Then a different server came to the table. We ordered the special, which was chicken-fried steak. After we waited 45 minutes, the server brought us a disgusting dish that was not what we ordered. It looked like somebody had dumped a bottle of Elmer's glue on a shingle. She then poured cola into our water glasses. We got up and walked out. The next-door Subway provided nice service. read more

Wow vintage 1950's restaurant in Billings. Close to hotel and they give a 10% discount if you are staying next door. Had the chicken breast meal with veggies and rice pilaf and it was good. Comes with garlic toast and was very filling. Had the brownie for dessert, no ice cream by choice and it was moist and delicious. A great place to go with the nicest staff. read more

We used to love to eat at 4Bs before they left town. We ate there this morning for the first time since they came back. Very disappointing - my eggs were ice cold so I sent them back. Turns out when I got back to the rest of breakfast everything else was cold as well. I just ate it. Got my eggs well after we were all done eating. Mentioned it to the manager and she said she was sure sorry. Too many really good places in Billings to eat. We won't waste our time or money eating here again. read more
