I came here tonight for some wall anchors and I love Home Depots Christmas decorations! I was here…read moreyesterday with my 3 year old son and he loves them too. But I gotta give people a heads up about something. They do not have stringed lights that have blue, green, red, yellow, AND purple. If you are not aware, purple is a color that makes the rest of the colors look some much more vibrant. It complements them. I included videos and pictures showing just what i'm talking about. Home depot even carries a fake tree that comes with colorful lights that include purple attached. It is in a video I made, you can see the tree has blue, green, red, yellow, AND purple lights and looks more brilliant than the other trees that don't have purple. Or the trees with just white lights. The other decorations are spectacular! Bravo Home Depot. Plants as well! Prices? Not too bad. But now i'm off to Walmart to see if they have a string of lights that has all the colors including purple. I'll get the wall anchor there too. EDIT/UPDATE: Walmart had them, make sure to get LED not incandescent unless you want your electric bill to be higher. FUN FACT about purple from google search: "Purple was considered a royal color because the dye used to produce it, known as Tyrian purple, was extremely expensive to make due to the laborious process of extracting it from sea snails, making it only accessible to the wealthy elite, including royalty, who could afford to wear clothing dyed with it; essentially, the rarity and cost of the dye made purple a symbol of status and power throughout history."

I had a tiny back yard, cute and neat, but not very useful. I saw the reviews here and elsewhere…read moreand was impressed by the positive feedback given to Jumanji. I met with Jumanji and told her that I'd like to create a seating area, I needed privacy from my neighbors, and I like a riot of color, mostly purple/lavender, fuschia, white and chartreuse or gray. That's just about it. With that little bit of direction she turned my humble yard into a fairy tail garden. It's like a Monet painting! When my partner saw it he responded, "Wow!" Even my son, who, as a teenage boy, isn't the most effusive (unless you want to talk video games), commented, "The back yard looks really cool!" Jumanji gave my little yard the artist's touch. It is perfect. Jumanji's rates are reasonable and she will come back for regular maintenance, which means she will continue to watch her handy work develop and will take more care than most. Now all I need is a table and bench or chairs so I and a couple of my friends can enjoy the beauty and serenity that is my secret garden.

Connecting with Oliana Gardening was superbly serendipitous. As an interior designer and landlord,…read moremy gardens need to be both aesthetic and highly functional, and preferably mostly native. I needed a landscaping establishment that was reliable, trustworthy, knowledgeable about natives, the right price, able to do both maintenance and renovations, and, this was a biggie, artistically trained. Oliana Gardening is meeting all these needs beautifully. Reliable and trustworthy means appointments are kept, communication is good, work gets finished, and my property gets cleaned and locked up as it should be. Being able to trust Oliana Gardening as I do makes my life so much easier. Jumanji really knows her native plants, and helped me figured out a scheme for a sunny front garden that I was failing miserably with on my own. I'd spoken to other people about natives before, but they either couldn't imagine an entirely native garden, or were so natives-oriented they seemed to sniff at my aesthetic needs. Jumanji supports my dual and sometimes conflicting requirements. For example, while it's stressful on sword ferns to completely cut their old fronds, we're compromising with selective trimming. The fact that Jumanji does both installations and maintenance is especially helpful because every act of maintenance from pruning to carefully placing excess leaves in the right spot all leads toward the overall garden vision. She's not going to damage anything from ignorance or mess up what is working well like my clean gravel drive by getting dirt all over it as one "gardener" did. More, Jumanji keeps teaching me new things about gardening, which makes the process fun. To me, Jumanji's greatest asset, is that is also an artist. Many companies have great plant knowledge or construction abilities, but their gardens often lack unity or artistry. I absolutely love collaborating with Oliana Gardening as one creative with another. Jumanji understands the creative process, creative angst, and "can we move it again?" Jumanji also has other equally talented colleagues, so when I wanted a border between my plants and gravel, she brought in an artist friend who can weld. Together they created a beautiful steel border and craftily installed it among carefully placed rocks to make everything look level and balanced. Last, Oliana Gardening understands my garden ambitions aren't backed by a big budget so existing plants, rocks, leaves etc. have been used to their utmost. To offset costs, we'll figure out things I can do myself, we'll work together for a bit (such as when she wrapped one of my trees with holiday lights and installed some new large rocks), or spread work out over several months. My garden has really come together since working with Oliana Gardening, and I look forward to working with the company long into the future.

I love home Depot. I always get everything I need for my house even appliances. Everything I need…read more It's my best app.

We recently purchased a dishwasher, range and microwave at Home Depot, Lynnwood. Please be aware…read morethat Home Depot does not have its own crew of workmen that they send out to install appliances. They farm them out to a huge conglomerate with thousands of contractors who seem to be largely very young and rude, in our experience did not speak English, and have no knowledge of anything except plugging the appliances IN. These contractors have no direct connection to Home Depot, so they are not accountable for their work in any way. I began complaining within a few days of the installations. They installed my dishwasher off the edge of the hardwood floor in my kitchen, leaving a lovely "line" of the previous flooring at the bottom. The dishwasher is slightly narrower than the space, but they did not install any kind of fastener to keep it from vibrating when it runs, so that it ends up falling back off edge of the flooring and crooked in its space. Plugging in the range, they were unaware that there is a component that needs to be added to the plug-in arrangement in houses built in the 1980's. As a result, the other plugs in our kitchen have stopped working and we will have to hire an electrician at our own expense to fix THAT. When installing the microwave, they dropped it, smashing it into a kitchen cabinet and breaking the MDF cabinet coating to pieces. They were unable to find anybody who could fix this without tearing my kitchen apart and removing the whole cabinet. Additionally, they left us with NO OWNERS' (Operating) MANUALS for the range OR the microwave. One of the things that can't be fixed is that, once they got us copies of the manuals, the instructions for the clock on the microwave simply said "some models come with military time only." THIS IS THE ONLY PLACE WHERE THAT DISTINCTION WAS LISTED--NOT ON THE BOX, NOT IN THE INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS. We would never have purchased a microwave that only tells time HALF the time, and would have to be removed and replaced to fix THAT. The dept. manager for these kinds of repairs, Rebecca, honestly tried her best to get some kind of action to repair these deficiencies, but in the end, after delays caused by Home Depot's failure to get anything done in a timely manager, the store manager blew the whole thing off, saying "they bought them too long ago" and denied any responsibility. So we have 2-month-old appliances that we have been complaining about for the full 2 months, a crippled kitchen, a microwave on which the clock is not useful--and more money to pay to get it all fixed.

If I'm displeased, I generally chalk it up to someone having a bad day or, if repeated consistently, I go elsewhere. (Praise should be public, criticism private). I unfortunately don't recall names, but it was pretty much everyone there from floor to register. I had just gotten new plates for my car... just came from DoL after 3rd time trying interstate title transfer. (I'll leave those details to your imagination...) I realized I needed a special tool in order to mount them. I came here because it's super close to work and they'd always been very helpful previously. It appeared a little bit of a reset was happening so things were little disorganized in some regard. Changing seasonal merch and all that fun.) but every one on the floor began to help look for what I needed, then get the different bolts to use and even replaced the bolts so I didn't have to purchase new tools (that I already have, just in storage and inaccessible at the moment). The level of helpful patience was beyond anything expected. Ever. I've worked in various customer service jobs my entire life. I know people can be exhausting. They spent a good 30+ minutes (of course taking turns helping others with the same friendly attitude when they came in) for ultimately a $6 sale. I've been to this Ace numerous times over the past decade or so and always a very good experience and excellent service. This time deserves a special shout out. I hope the crew that day all see this and know how much it meant to me. Thank you. I'd give more stars if I could.

I sensed someone very close behind me. It was the person helping along with a large dog on a rope. Not sure if this was personalized service or following me on a potential theft suspicion. (door had sign requiring leaving backpacks etc. at counter). I quickly found what I wanted, but I'm sure others would have freaked out if they don't like dogs close in their space. Maybe this was a result of a prior violent theft or scare. Who knows. Anyway, I like the place because of the knowledgeable, friendly staff. They have been helpful over the years, having all the things I need, especially hard-to-find items and bolts/fasteners.
