05/23/26 - Moonwalker Cafe stopped in for a cup of coffee & a delicious breakfast bagel after Tai chi. Moonwalker is located kiddie corner to our school. The breakfast sandwich I had was on a toasted bagel w/bacon, cheese, & egg. Very yummy. Cool vibe friendly staff. Great place to pop in & grab a breakfast or lunch sandwich. Nice selection of coffees & pastries too. Definitely worth checking out if you're in the neighborhood

What a cut shop! We went on off hours and it was very chill and quiet, great relaxing atmosphere. Came for the matcha and cold brew, stayed for the breakfast sandwich (yum) and Caesar wrap (double yum and loved those chips). Front desk person was kind and most importantly knew how to make a mean coffee. 5/5 will be back

Adorable small neighborhood cafe with big personality and decor. The bagel sandwiches were delicious- we substituted the plain cream cheese for jalapeño cream cheese in the lox sandwich and it was great. They import their bagels from NYC and you can tell. Limited seating. Do yourself a favor and skip the latte - they insisted they made my almond milk sugar free vanilla latte " right " but it just was awful and I threw it out. Food items good enough for a repeat visit if I'm in the neighborhood again .

Meh, wasn't impressed. On the high side of prices for mid sandwiches. 2 breakfast sandwiches & a bagel sandwich were damn near $50. Only partook because I was in the area. Aioli elevated thr sandwiches slightly. Doubt I'd return

    Chicken Caesar Salad Wrap

I came here for the Chicken Caesar Salad Wrap because Chicago was abuzz about it. It was a good wrap. It did not have croutons, and if it normally does there is a quality control issue. The chicken was good, there wasn't enough Parmesan cheese for my liking but my partner didn't mind the level of parm. I wanted more dressing too. It was a more traditional romaine lettuce. It was good though, just not my preferred type. I also got the cali Bfast burrito with Soyrizo. It comes with a habanero (probably) sauce. It was good, it had hash browns griddle type so it was crunchy which added a great texture to the burrito. It was more of a burrito than most places which are typically just breakfast wraps. The soyrizo was good. Not much seating, but it's a cozy place. There were kids in there, and they have doughnuts and juice.

A new go-to spot for me! I crave the English muffin sandwich. I'm not usually a dark matter coffee fan, but they do it right here! I love their nutso bout you latte (hazelnut and agave) and their banana bread latte. Staff has always been friendly and helpful. There's usually seating either at the tables and chairs or by the windows and parking on the side street. A cozy neighborhood staple!

If you have been searching for Chicago's best breakfast sandwich I have great news for you- the search ends here. The english muffin sandwich weighs about a pound, is the perfect mix of hearty and decadent with a beautiful chimichurri to brighten it up and is priced super reasonably at $11.50- my husband and I literally split one it's so massive. The coffee is great too- don't worry that the food steals the show. Aesthetically the cafe is cute with a handful of seats inside and some outdoor seating as well, and the team working seem to know everyone coming in and have a great repertoire. I'll probably be a regular here too soon enough! Incredible. 10/10. I can't rave about this enough.

We came here for a quick bite to eat and for some coffee. We decided to dine in. The owners and the staff here were great. They were very welcoming and made sure we were satisfied. They thanked us for stopping in and had smiles throughout our meal. They have a pretty big menu with plenty of coffee and breakfast & lunch offerings. My wife ordered their Dark Matter drip coffee and I ordered their iced coffee and their "The Brunch" breakfast sandwich. It came with lox in a toasted everything bagel with cream cheese, tomatoes, capers, cucumber salad and lemon vinegar. The sandwich was pretty big with everything ingredient working perfectly together. It came with plenty of lox and it tasted fresh. I would definitely order this again, but I would also like to try a few of their other offerings. I will definitely be returning.

Snickerdoodle latte and a cheddar‑and‑chive scone
    Eddie T.

Rolled into Moonwalker Cafe for a mid‑morning break and dropped about $15 on a Snickerdoodle latte and a cheddar‑and‑chive scone. The latte tasted like warm cinnamon sugar vibes with a creamy oat‑milk twist--way better than your average sweet coffee fix. The scone was butter‑rich with little bursts of sharp cheddar and fresh chive, flaky but not dry. Space is snug but chill--plants, art, a couple seats inside and out--makes it feel like a friend's cozy kitchen. Barista knew her stuff and called me by name when I came back a minute later (not kidding). Only reason it's four stars and not five: it got real busy quick and my scone sat under the heat lamp a beat too long. Still, that latte‑scone combo? Solid launch pad for the day. I'll be back--maybe grab one of their pop‑up sandwiches next time.

My fiancé and I stopped in as soon as they opened to grab some fuel for our roadtrip out of town. We were greeted as soon as we walked through the door, bright and early at 6:30am. The baristas were super friendly. The atmosphere is nice and bright. Light wood tones and soft colors. Cute merch, too. The baked goods counter looked divine and wanted to purchase everything, but I stuck with a slice of banana bread. SOOOO GOOD. It was fresh, moist, and had the right balance of flavor between the banana and chocolate chips. Sometimes it gets too chocolatey, but the banana flavor was first and foremost. We ordered a drip coffee and a large iced vanilla latte with an extra shot. The drip coffee was fresh and hot with a nice flavor profile. The espresso used in the latte was fresh, bright, and slightly nutty. They have a La Marzocco, and you can usually expect pretty good espresso from those machines. I believe the vanilla was house-made, so bonus points for that. All things that I personally love in a latte! There was also a parking lot, so we didn't have to worry about street parking. We will definitely be back the next time we are in town! 10/10 recommend.

On this particular weekday morning, they had a great looking selection of donuts I sadly resisted, along with some other pastries. The vibe in here is quaint and bright, with different seating options. Would be a good spot to work from! Due to its convenient location and parking lot, I will definitely visit again!

Speaking of which, I had a gluten-free and dairy-free breakfast sandwich. They bake the eggs in a loaf with several spices that compliment the meal very well. Rather than a biscuit or a bagel, they serve it on two latkes (potato pancakes) with several slices of bacon. Wow - it was huge and it was amazing. Definitely recommend it either with the dietary restrictions, or without. I also had a rosemary-caramel latte. The barista recommended it to me and I was pleasantly surprised by how good it was.
