I have no words for how delicious it is. The saucey, cheesy edges get a little carmelization from the method that they form and bake their pizza and it all comes together in this amazingly balanced , tradition Buffalo pie. 2) DOUGH: perfectly done, imo, Buffalo-style. Not too thick but not thin, cooked fast and hot and gives that slight but great char we love from the likes of OG Imperial and Bocce. But it's Papa's time NOW! The cheesy saucy edges get melty and a little charred over the perfect crusty edges and THAT is what pizza dreams are made of. 3) CHEESE: plentiful, fresh and baked to perfection with a fantastic pull. They put enough that you don't have a bite without just the right amount of cheese but not a crazy amount that is thick and loses its taste. Papa's is all about balance. ‍ 4) TOPPINGS!: ABUNDANT!! The wet Cajun wings are out of this world and rival the Cajun wings at Elmo's. SO GOOD! 6) Last but not least the STAFF! I don't know anyone that works there, but they treat you like friends when you walk in the door. The first time I walked into Papa's, I was adorably greeted by the owner's 9 year old son. It's no question where he gets his charisma from--the owner welcomed me with a kindness that made me feel right at home. This place is OUTSTANDING. Hands down the best pizza in all of Buffalo.
