I really needed a good massage and I got one today. I have cronic back pain and always need a good massage once a month. This location was close to where I live and it's a gem!!! Clean, private rooms and the masseuse asked how hard I prefer my massage (hard, medium or soft) before she began. Parking available in the street and easy to find. This place is no thrills, I wouldn't consider it luxuarious, but they did a good job. read more

My whole body massage was so good that I had them do my feet right after lol I paid $45 for a 60 min whole body massage and $30 for a 30 min foot massage (with the comfiest chairs). Will be back (: read more

I'm a (non practicing) licensed massage therapist... Just had an AMAZING massage! I'm a hairstylist so my back is always a wreck. Coco went to town on my back for an hour and I literally feel like a new human. read more

Pros:- Good masseuse and ambience Cons:- They demand more than 20% tip for level of service which is "good" at best and to make it worse they will tell you that you are not tipping them what they are demanding.. read more

They're always so nice, clean, great massage! Work the 20 min $18 massage special for a once a week visit.

Really enjoyed my first two sessions. I usually do a combo of reflexology and massage. The setting is quiet and clean. The prices are great for the quality therapists that work on you. Love the hot stones at the end. Highly recommend trying this place- and they have a program where you get your 10th hour of service free of charge! read more

It is basic but you cannot beat the price. Best spot in hoboken if you want a inexpensive massage with usually no wait time!

Sadly agree with other reviews that the experience depends on your masseuse. I was desperate for a massage and found this place that was among one with good reviews and close to my work place. I booked an hour body massage and 30 minute reflexology for my first visit, which turned out to be a mistake...other reviewers had said they don't mind you extending extra service which I should have done. Soon after my body massage started I asked the masseuse to increase some pressure, which she did well as I could feel the difference. It became painful when she worked around my shoulder and neck area because of the way she inserted the pressure, but at the time I thought maybe that's just her way so I bore with it. Although she massaged through my whole body, I didn't have that satisfying feeling of being "worked through" when you know you got a good massage...so at that point I wasn't looking forward to the reflexology that came after, and it turned out strange too..it was more like her swishing my feet than a massage....I tried so hard to try to enjoy but nope. Price was decent, but unless you know a reputable masseuse to ask for I wouldn't recommend this place. read more

Here's the thing with this place - there are zero frills. Which is great if you're on a budget and would just like a good massage. I went in for an hour - only $45! - and was very happy with what I got. Keep in mind your room has a curtain instead of a door so you do hear noise from outside, and they use beach towels instead of all matching company towels, but if you're coming here you're not here for the towels anyway. They use hot stones which is nice, and even did some pressure points on my face and head which was very stress relieving. I'd definitely recommend! read more

I went to hang up my clothes right next to where the massage bed is and coming out my bra was stained with oils. When I confronted them, they tried to place the blame on me. This is a brand new bra it didn't come with oils on it. They kept lying to me about why it wasn't them & I eventually said "your oil is clearly on my bra how do I get it off" and the man working the front told me to use detergent which hasn't helped. And why should i have to worry about washing out a stain after a supposed to be relaxing treatment i spent money on? If there was accountability in the beginning, the situation would have unfolded differently. But they were dishonest & continued to be. And I get how pouring oils, it could accidentally get onto a bra hanging up next to you but that needed to be an apology and a fixed situation. They should have offered to wash what they stained but instead they lied & took no accountability. I cannot support a business that is dishonest & I can't recommend this place to you. read more

Moonlight Spa - Reflexology Near Me - Hoboken, New Jersey

I had a body massage (actually just back massage) at this place. I like the hot stone a lot,and the massager did a good job on my shoulder. However, I have to say that the massager didn't take care of my spine well. It hurts. And i wish they could do more on my arms and hands. read more

I have been coming to Moonlight for a massage on a weekly basis for the past year +. Very no frills, but I always leave feeling great and the price cannot be beat. I really appreciate that you actually get massages for the full amount of time, unlike massage envy where my 60 minute massage was more like 40 minutes of massaging. read more

Simple and efficient. I am very picky with massage places, my main required quality in bodyworkers is empathy. And in this place it's achieved -- I feel nourished and relaxed. read more

This place is awesome. Really good massages for a great price, friendly and nice staff...and hot stones!!! They even give out punch cards for a free massage after you get 10! read more

Horrible massage- waste of $60 and an hour of my life. Rude customer service on the way out. Had good massages there in the past, but never again after this experience. read more

I went there for an hour full body massage and it was so good - clean and quite. I feel so relaxed, it was so effective! I will be back! read more

Fabulous place to get a massage! Such wonderful prices and one of my best massages to date. I will definitely be recommending to others and going back again. read more

I've walked by this place a million times, but wasn't sure about it from the outside. My friend who gets paid to check out everything Hoboken had told me that the massages here are no frills, but amazing. For $45 for an hour I figured why not!? ESP bc the week before I had spent $175 on a massage at a well known Hoboken spot that was terrible! Didn't really bother me that you cover yourself with a large towel and not 1000 thread count sheets, what do you expect for $45...But the massage...OMG!!! I've gotten A LOT of massages in my life and this was legit in my top 5! She even used hot stones at the end, stretched me, reflexology, it was heaven!!! I now make this a weekly thing! SO happy I stopped just walking by this spot and checked it out!!! Hidden gem of Hoboken! read more

I had a great massage here today.! The spot is very simple and not anything like a fancy spa but the massage is amazing. I got the 75 minute massage for 60 bucks and my masseuse was able to really spend time on my shoulders and feet like I asked. The nice thing is they're able to get you in quickly and I got a same day appointment. And they also use hot stones and hot towels on you as well at the end of the massage. The rooms aren't really sound proof so you will hear some sounds from the other rooms and people talking but for me I was more interested in a really good massage. read more

Moonlight Spa was a great find, close to my home. The staff is very friendly and kind. The massages are always great and the best part is that they're super inexpensive! I highly recommended this place to anyone who's in need of a good, inexpensive massage! read more

Amy has given me multiple FANTASTIC deep tissue massages! Moonlight is very affordable and I am always able to walk in without an appointment. The bedding on the massage table wasn't the best, but that's not a priority to me- I am just interested in a great massage- which I got. I recommend this place. I'll keep going back!! read more

I went here after reading all the great reviews, and everyone is right. Definitely one of the best massages I've ever had, if not the best! And I have had ALOT of massages in my lifetime. They got me in right away, literally twenty minutes after I called. It's definitely a no frills type of place but the massage was so good I didn't even care. They use hot stones at the end (which is included) and an hour massage is only 45 bucks. I added in a 15 minute foot massage at the end which was amazing! You get a card at the end which is stamped and after 10 massages you get one free! Highly recommend read more

Best massage ever!!!!! Extremely affordable and they also use hot stones which is included. I also like how I'm not forced to get completely naked since I'm not comfortable but I love this place. Also, bring cash! You aren't charged the convience fees! read more

I'm a massage and spa snob. Until the last couple of years, I would only get massages at the best spas around the world as an indulgence and for relaxation. But after living in China, I realized the truly therapeutic purpose of weekly massages. Probably as an offset of living in the stressfilled urban oasis called the NYC metro area, I decided to go for monthly massages and find a "value" place ($80 for 60 min) in Hoboken. I only go to cheap Chinese massage places in NYC with friends in the know. I would've never even considered any in Hoboken because they seem a bit dodgy from the outside. But following the recommendation of a neighbor led me to Moonlight Spa. And I'm hooked. It's clean, service is friendly, and the massages are among the best I've ever had. The price is great. As part of the grand opening, it started at $40/hr and has risen to $45/hr (still really great). Hoping it stays like this as it's now a weekly routine (vs monthly) because the quality is worth spending more on massages each month (but with frequency!). read more

I come here once a week almost for a 30/60 min massage. Honestly it beats bliss spa and they are so expensive! This place is the best and the massages are unreal. Highly recommend!!! read more

My hubby and I went in for a couple's massage. The spa is tiny, The massage rooms are only separated by curtains , there are no doors hence pretty audible. We could hear people leaving the spa and entering the spa. They only provide you a towel to cover your body, there are no proper sheets. The towels are pretty rough. My masseuse was Lisa and my hubby's was Amy. I told Lisa that i wanted Swedish massage but when the massage started , i was crying in pain. I told her to reduce the pressure and she said okay. She was fine for a while but went back to painful pressure again. I reminded her again and same thing followed. At that point, it was no point asking her because either she was not listening or she did not care. When she massaged my head , i felt like she was piercing nails into my head. I am shocked that she could not read that i was in pain and continued. I also felt a lot more exposed during the massage than i have ever been at other places. When she asked me turn around , she did not even hold the towel and i was completely exposed. I also felt the hot stones and hot towel was super hot. I was more stressed and in pain after the massage. My hubby was fine as he prefers deep tissue but he also felt a lot exposed during the massage. I would not go back as it was a nightmare for me. People who do not care about ambiance, noise, being exposed and enjoy deep tissue will probably love this place for the inexpensive value, walk ins and included hot stones. Unfotunately, did not work out for me. read more

The place was clean, but definitely noisy. My therapist didn't apply much pressure, it felt nice, but not amazing. I did like the hot stones.Price is nice, quick appointment. Bring cash as they upcharge for credit. May come back with a different Therapist read more

The best massage place in town. Cindy at the front desk is super nice and friendly, they offer drinking water before and after massages. Cleanliness is a big deal to me and I must say their facilities and amenities are clean, it feels good to be relaxed in warm, clean and fresh smelling towels. Amy and Angela were great masseuses if you like medium hard to hard massage. They use hot stones and hot towels, and heed reasonable requests like if youre more sore on a certain area and want to spend more time on it than other areas of your body. O, and their background music is very soothing unlike other places that play loud, distracting music, this matters a lot in terms of relaxation. Definitely recommend this place! read more

I come here all the time. Great service and always has appointments available. I usually see Ada but I haven't had a bad masseuse yet! They do such a great job for a great price. I am a very active person and it is a great spot for a quality massage to loosen up my muscles. read more

This is a no frills massage place with great prices and a great massage. Can't wait to come back!

Ya its good but they do only back i expected them to do near stomach and chest too .... others r perfect and very good .

This clean, simple spa is my go-to for massage therapy in Hoboken. All the therapists I've had here are good.

My cousin and I decided we needed massages so we went on the hunt on yelp looking for pretty good reviews in the surrounding area. We called a few places before finding this hidden gem. The price is affordable and the massage was stupendous. The only reason I deducted a star is privacy and noise level. It's no 5 star place... I get that. But I like silence when getting a massage the masseuse in the same room working on my cousin was also answering the phone so he kept coming in and out. People pop into your room when they need to touch base and I felt that that took away from the serene experience. Other than that... you get what you pay for. I will be going back for sure. Can't beat the price. I think I'll try the reflexology foot massage next time as well. read more

Amy did my massage and was very thorough. The full body massage does not include feet so either ask for it or be willing to pay extra to have it done. Otherwise great job. read more

I'm so sad that I'm giving this a 3 Star rating. my massage was terrible but I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt and hoping it was just my masseuse that wasn't good. I got a 1 hour massage and it was honestly torture and all I wanted it was to be done with. So to begin with she only used one hand for about 55 minutes of the massage which was so weird and actually really annoying because she would only massage one spot on my body with one hand. It just felt so uneven. Then I asked for medium pressure and was getting the strongest pressure I've felt in my life (I'm extremely sore today) she also did these weird stretches which actually hurt and I felt so exposed. I've had so many massages and this one was the most painful and did the opposite of what I wanted it to. Im totally fine with a no frill spa but sadly this one was just not good. I'm tempted to come and get a massage from another employee because the rave reviews really have me confused. read more

20 minute massage on my break during work for $18! Can't go wrong! Judy did a great job! Will definitely make this a weekly thing!

Very friendly service and they're open until 9 everyday. Extremely reasonable rates, especially for Hoboken!

Great spa! This is my first time to a spa in Hoboken, very impressive. The place is clean and quiet, the message is done in a very professional way. I feel very relaxed after the back message. Highly recommend Amy! She is awesome!! read more

We went here on a whim for two foot massages (husband and me) when we were driving by one day. This place is definitely affordable. You get what you pay for. There is no elegant waiting room or front desk. There is no fancy inviting and relaxing decor. This is simply a massage parlor and nothing more. Thumbs down for no couples massage room because we like to talk during our massages. The foot massage itself was reallllllllllly good though and for that reason alone we will be back to maybe get a full body or neck and back massage. read more

The best massage I've ever got !!! .... Staff is very welcoming and friendly, I can never commit to making appointment because of my busy schedule, but when ever I call even if it is last min. They are always flexible and can fit me in, i've recommended so many people here. And everyone just loves it, coco is absolutely amazing I try to request her because she knows my body well, but if she is booked or not available Iam very happy with seeing the other massage therapist as well.... MUST TRY THIS PLACE.... Your body will thank you read more
