But the best part is the stunning and thoughtful interior! They've create a new space that is super modern yet comfortable with luxury self-love vibes. I've always loved my massages at Lifestage for their technical expertise, but the old space was lacking that real "sanctuary" R&R feeling that this new space now delivers in spades! I had a very nice prenatal massage at 24 weeks pregnant. I was very comfortable and the massage therapist had all appropriate cushions for my best positioning. They are using a pop up venue right now as their place is under construction, but it was still a nice experience. I do think it is costly and I would go regularly if the price was lower. I also think there should be a discount for not being at the main location. Both those thoughts aside, I would still recommend it if those points don't bother you as I wasn't too bothered by it. read more

I booked online for my boyfriend and I to have a peppermint foot scrub treatment w/reflexology each for same day with Adia Watts. It was an add-on only though I was told when I called to make sure it was ok. Not sure why their website allowed me to schedule just that without a massage? They didn't have any massage time open for same day so I cancelled. I got a call a few hours later and the receptionist said they had an opening for two now due to a cancellation. I appreciate her calling me to let me know. I told her we will take the appointment. We arrived early but no one was at the front desk or anywhere to be found. We sat on the couch in waiting area for about 15min before we were acknowledged by anyone (or seen anyone). A couple ladies checked out while we sat waiting. They were all given the complimentary bath salts they had nearby. There was complimentary tea and water next to us too. I appreciate that. Yelp check in gets you a complimentary satin lavender eye pillow. I appreciate that too. I like the quality of the pillow. The receptionist showed up about 20min after we arrived. She checked us in and had us fill out forms on a tablet while we waited for the rooms to be ready. They both apologized for our wait and that we weren't checked-in or acknowledged. They don't offer couples massages. On the phone she said we could do the foot soak together though. (Which we didn't end up doing?). There seemed to be a lot of confusion since we were added short-notice. Their confusion made me confused. $95 for a 30min massage is a bit steep. The foot scrub w/reflexology is $30 and it's only 10min she said. They have you take your shoes off and wear their shoes. They then took us back to two separate rooms. My boyfriends massage therapist checked in with him to make sure the temp of bed (they are warmed) and room were comfortable and she told him after he had a lot of tension in his legs. My massage therapist gave no feedback. She didn't ask if I was comfortable either (I was, but it's nice to ask). The rooms were nice and clean. Come check out time, they didn't offer us any of bath salts or tell us about tge. :( He said a lot of time was spent prepping that he was comfortable and he would've liked more massage time. He thinks it was cut a little short from that. My therapist asked a few questions about tension/pain anywhere and where i would like the massage prior to starting. I did back, shoulders, and legs. Overall, the massages were good; short for the cost. We won't be returning. We like couples massages/services. read more

I first found this place when searching for prenatal specialized massages for my wife. Since then she has gone back several times to include post natal and regular massages. She has loved the place has has left feeling refreshed every single time. Even Formerly known as women's health, I grew envious of her renewed energy so I booked an appointment my self. The masseuses are truly amazing and patient. Of the 5-6 times I've personally returned, they have been thorough with their work, not rushing any massages. My last masseuse Lauren did an amazing sports massage, getting rid of probably 6 knots. The establishment itself is cozy, with around 3 rooms. It is very clean and coffee, tea, and snacks are available. Honestly I believe this is the best massage place within Hoboken / JC. I only come here now when I want a great massage. read more
